Tenuta Cusmano Villa Resort - Grottaferrata, Rome

We would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The owners and staff were both friendly and extremely helpful to us. It was our first time overseas. They recommended restaurants and helped direct us to sights that we wanted to see. Whether you are looking for a place to stay while sightseeing or just want a place to stay and relax (they have a beautiful pool area), you will be impressed with Tenuta Cusmano Villa Resort.

Tenuta Cusmano is a great place for a short stay, the hotel has lovely grounds & beautiful rooms, loved the terrace area each room had. Breakfast was very good with a large variety of things on offer & the hotel was on a short walk into Grottaferrata. Idea place to relax at the end of the holiday & convenient for the Ciampino Airport. Some nice places to visit around the area of Grottaferrata, but not much to hold interest in the town itself. To make the most of the area, a car is a must. Found a lovely friendly family restaurant if you walk back down the hill from the hotel entrance, its about 200 meters on the Right, our meal there was excellent.

We stayed in off-season but still a beautiful resort. Would love to come back in summer. Food was superb and staff was very friendly. A bit hard to find as it is tucked far back into hills and gated properties are hard to enter at times...need to look for the winery out front and they will direct you. Fairly easy to drive to train station in nearby town and take transit into city. Room was big and clean and had great views. Property is stunning with pool and tennis courts and gardens.

La villa est situee dans un site magnifique, au milieu des vignes, avec une vue superbe sur Rome. La 1ere chambre que nous avons eu ne valait pas son tarif (pas de vue et petite) mais la proprietaire nous a propose de changer de chambre au bout de 2 jours pour une beaucoup mieux. Malgre tout, le bruit des moteurs de climatiseurs a l exterieur, qui se mettaient en route toutes les 1/2h la nuit, et celui du frigo etaient moyennement agreable.

What can we say, fabulous. Exactly what we wanted. Beautiful property in the hills. quiet surrroundings, fantastic aspect. Staff bent over backwards to help us. Highly reccomend as a place to wind down. Only slight drawback was having to go out to eat during the week. We found a restaurant as the one recomended was closed.
