Plus: the hotel is economically priced, breakfast incl., spacious room/bathroom/balcony, a shuttle between hotel and closest subway station, staff is ok, and tray to speak English, facilities and furniture ware in good condition. Minus: located far from city entre/secluded, poor bus connection between nearest Metro and the hotel, free wi-fi is present in rooms, but you need to ask for a voucher with password at the reception every single day to get access, room can be noisy, when a school class gets accommodated at the same floor.

Good value hotel. A lot of space on the ground floor. Breakfast good if a little crowded in the dining room when groups are in, especially at 7am. Fab little neighbourhood restaurant - down to the main road, turn left and about 100m Mejo di Betto e Mary - lovely food, good value, great service, lovely ambience - run by 2 sisters, always busy. Only downside of the hotel is if you are on public transport. There is a shuttle bus to metro but didn't use it. Caught the bus to Pietralata Metro but its about 500m to the bus stop and even further to buy tickets from the bar further down the road at the next bus stop. There is an outdoor pool but we didn't use it.

Noisy rooms, the voices of the neighbors sounded as if they were in my room. In the bathroom there were many ants. The reception staff quite surly. The hotel does not deserve the four stars ABSOLUTELY, is in a decadent state and even the area in which it is located is bad. Camere rumorose, le voci dei vicini si sentivano come se fossero nella mia stanza. In bagno c'erano molte formiche. Lo staff alla reception piuttosto scontroso. L'hotel non merita ASSOLUTAMENTE le quattro stelle, è in uno stato decadente e neppure la zona in cui si trovava a suo favore.

The hotel welcomes with a 4 stars foot mat, and it once might have met this quality level. Nowadays, I would probably grant 2-3 stars. Still we've not expected the Ritz, especially not for the price we were charged, therefor I do recommend the place! The room was clean, still I'm not a friend of shower curtains. Unfortunatly, the pool would have been charged extra, and I can't remember, having read this in the advert. Overall conclusion: The hotel is OK for a 3-5 days city trip.

It 'was a pleasant stay: the hotel provides a free shuttle service to reach the metro station; between comfort I could take advantage of the free car parking, well-stocked breakfast included in the price, and the cost of living proportional the quality of services offered. The internet service in the room is free of charge and is free in public areas. The room was a little dated but all in all comfortable, spacious, clean enough, the mini fridge was empty but the hallways were also vending machines for snacks and drinks. The restaurant is very good so did the lunch buffet organized outside. I recommend it for short or medium long stay.

People at reception spoke very poor english. Breakfast, was less than average. Bread Ok but coffee and drinks were terrible (when the machine worked) Were confronted with extra taxes at our departure (euro 27) and our creditcard (Mastercard) was not accepted. Overall: OK as a sleeping place for a few nights, but less than expected. Would not go there again.

I was very shocked by this hotel. It was very cheap, but as it was classified as a 4 star, I was expecting decent quality, but it is 1 or 2 star. The food in the restaurant was of poor quality. During breakfast, I saw several dead cockroaches on the floor. The room was noisey from both outside and the corridor. The bathroom had a strong smell of sewage. The room was very hot and the air conditioning did not work properly. The room was dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. We left a day early and found another hotel as I was concerned about the health risk to my family associated with the cockroaches.

Reasonable price. Good service. Nothing around the hotel, only pizzeria and one place called restaurant. Breakfast is not like in ***** hotel, but good enough. Very easy to go to city center - shuttle bus right from the hotel or in 2 km big free parking and metro station. Anyway, i got more than expected and i would suggest to stay in this hotel to everyone who wants good service for the cheap price and prpared to spend 15-30 minutes to reach city center.

Hotel-Service was good (English-speaking), the double-room with bath-room were roomy, all OK and clean. The hotel's rating is a 4 star-hotel (in europe-hotel-ranking), we think it is a good 3-star-hotel. In the near there is an military academy and to different times there ist a loud trumped-like noise, also early in the morning but it doesn't break the sleep really. The breakfast was every day the same, no variety, but acceptable. The bus-shuttle to / from the city center was very good, but the departure times are sometimes not so good, for example - AM: 7:45h, 09:45h - return 16:45h 20:45h, 23:30h. We'd like they have more times like 8:45h or 18:00h.

It would be very helpfull if the hotel add some more infortmation to "how to reach" per plain or train. Tell the number of stations from Tiburtina or Termini and - especially - the direction the guest must take. The same for the bus 211. Tell them the final station so that they know the direction.

All the indications were great except for the bus information...(if you go without car) when you get the 211 bus, they will get you to Via pietralata, you have to wait until you see a Yellow AGIP (gas station) and then stop the bus and get out there, because if you waint until the entrance of the hotel, its not good because you will be walking next to road, and you can be caught by a car. So get out before on the yellow gas station and looking the gas station on the left there is an small street that will take you to the door of the hotel. It´s a bid difficult, but it worked ;) and its not going to be dangerous.

The price is too high for this type of Hotel. It's like a 2 stars hotel not a 4 stars! Is quite far from the center. The rooms are not good cleaned and they smell like a sewer.

The map on Venere was not accurate. Address given on Venere website "Via Cosimo De 'Giorgi 8" was difficult to locate and we got lost using public transit to get there and had to get a taxi to take us. Taxi couldn't find the hotel at first either until he asked someone and they said they were at "Via Di Pietralata 162" which was on a main street that was easier to locate. Reception at hotel was not pleasant upon arrival when we told them about the discrepancy in the addresses. Hotel is in the suburbs and alot farther from town then we expected. Reception also didn't tell us until we asked next day that they had a daily shuttle to train station for 3 euros much more convenient for getting downtown. Since we didn't know about the daily shuttle we took the local Pietralata bus which took over an hour including the wait time to get to the Pietralata Metro Station. Otherwise despite the lacklustre reception desk person the evening we arrived (the other ones afterward were nice) the room was ok for me and my 2 grown sons. A bit noisy on our last night from some late night family reunion party in the hotel but otherwise ok. Couldn't really complain as the price we paid was 110 euros a night for a triple which was a pretty reasonable price to pay for Rome area.
