Totally recommend this hotel, very nice and clean with very friendly staff, good spoken English (got good tips there), nice and rich breakfast. 5 min to the bus or subway and it got a few minutes to get to the centre. The only minus was big charge for car park, but we were happy to have it in a save place. We had lovely stay there and would return anytime....(good quality for the price!!!!!)

It is a nice property, nice restaurant & bar. The welcome could be improved. Lots of dogs barking at night.

My first hotel in the trip and, by far, the best. For a single traveler, the bathroom was extremely spacious and very clean! Staff were really helpful and recommended a delicious local restaurant. Close to the metro. I will definitely stay here again

Nothing really "wow" about the hotel, but everything was decent. Rooms were clean, the shower had hot water, the breakfast was a buffet with enough choice, the people at the reception were correct. But don't expect a nice looking room (it's very basic), a big bathroom or receptionists that give you more information than you ask for (e.g. little tips based on your questions). At the time of booking our holiday, we saw the comments below on noise. We did not have problems with noise between rooms - it's rather when someone is noisy in the corridor that you hear everything. Honestly, I've had this problem in plenty of hotels. It did not bother me as it is something you can expect when you don't have an awful lot of money to spend. All in all, we had a good stay here.

We had 2 rooms for 5 nights. our room was nice and spacey with a large bathroom - but the childrens room was very small with a tiny bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good and large - not usual for Italy! Friendly staff, good english. Negative: no English news canal on TV, the WIFI was not working. I would recommend this Hotel anytime and would take it again, while being in Rome. Very central - only 5 minutes walking to bus station that connects to most important places and Vatican City

Hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood and a 5-10 minute walk to the subway station. The rooms were elegantly decorated, but the walls are a bit thin. We could hear the neighbors quite well, but other than that, everything was fine. Nice breakfast and dining area.

Although the room and bed were decent (did not realize it would be two single beds merely pushed together), the room we stayed in did not look anything like the photos posted on the website. Photos showed modern decor, we had pretty outdated decor. Most importantly however, the room and bath were very clean. Helpful front desk staff.

I recommand this one, exactly as described ! The room wasn't very spacious, but well enough for 3 nights ! ( It wouldn't be enough for a week or more ) Nice breakfast with good food and coffee. Orange juices weren't drinkable in the other hand. Only real negative point, noises between different rooms. You can hear everything from the next room. Overall, it was a real nice stay, with nice people.

Very good position. Near to the center near the underground station. Breakfast was excellent, difficult to find somewhere. Adeguate to a 4 star hotel. It's a real four star.

I recently stayed in a single room at this hotel. Being from North America, I'd never seen a twin bed in a hotel, but I suppose this is the European standard for such rooms. The room was long and narrow, but big enough for one person. The bathroom was the same size as the room (i.e., very spacious), which was nice, since bathrooms in every other EU hotel I've stayed in were tiny and cramped. Staff were multilingual, helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was the typically meager European fare, though the scrambled eggs and "bacon" (steamed prosciutto) were nice touches. My only complaint was that the towels had the distinct smell of white vinegar, as if some had been added in when they were washed. To avoid smelling faintly of vinegar myself, I had to sort of dab my body with the towel after each shower, then use the hair dryer attached to the wall to completely dry off. Very odd, but not a deal breaker in my opinion, considering that the hotel is reasonably close to the metro and several buses and most of all, that it's relatively cheap compared to most other accommodations.

We had a very pleasant stay at the "Prime Hotel Villa Torlonia" Breakfast was excellent and it was close to great restaurants and easy to catch the bus to get to the historic center and to Viale Trastevere. Additionally, they were very accomodating to my mother who is in a wheelchair and not able to walk at all. This was a great hotel for all of us.

Very good price for room. Location was excellent and safe, and breakfast was hearty. Please make sure to book ahead of time for all the days you would like to stay. We stayed extra days, and the hotel charged us a higher rate for the additional days. Also ask for a "larger" room, we could hardly turn around in ours (but other rooms on our floor were much larger. We asked to change room, but they never did change our room (this is an example of the mediocre service especially rampant in Rome).

Rather good hotel. However the room was a bit smaller than expected and not very well disponated. Most of the staff were nice and service-minded. Although we had some trouble with the communication between the staff and the room maid. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. The surrounding was very nice. It's a fairly good hotel.

Excellente hotel, nothing to complain about. I guess the price tag was quite low because of the "low season" period of my stay, but it was almost incredible to pay less than 50 euro for a place like this. Only annotation: I hope they will also give Wi-Fi access in the rooms in the near future, at present there is only a (free) Internet point.

Hotel molto, molto bello! Silenzioso, in ottima posizione (dista 5 min.a piedi dalla Metro Policlinico) offre tranquillità. Il personale è sempre disponibile e gentile. Io e mio marito ci siamo sentiti accolti e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Lo consiglieremo sicuramente. Elena.
