This is a good clean hotel relatively close to the Colosseum. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms not huge but modern. Only complaint was bar was closed throughout the stay - "barman on holiday!".

We spent two nights in this hotel.The F.O. was quite helpful,air conditioning in the room great,breakfast as expected,the waitress very kind and the bartender very gentle...Greatest advantage?One minute walk from the metro...According to the money we paid,we are satisfied enough... P.S.We arrived early(10:00 a.m.)tired,full of sweat and my son had his birthday...Perhaps we should have been given our room earlier and not at 14:00 hours..

tarvelled in August 08. arrived in Rome having come from Sorento. stayed here only one night. booked the standard room but feel that we got a upgrade as the room we recieved for the night was like a penthouse suuite so we were delighted with it. 10-15 min walk with bags from main termini, excellent location with subway only a block away. staff were excellent and hotel beautiful. ideal for families, groups and couples. fantastic hotel and will 100% be looking to book when i return to Rome.

My stay in Rome was to attend a conference and I generally liked the hotel its modern and simple touch but would have appreciated a little more spacious room and a better set up and service for the breakfast.

Whilst the room was small it was accomodating and very new. The location to the heart of Rome was fantastic allowing us close access to our desired destinations.

The hotel was shut down due to a problem with the air conditioning system. We were not informed in advance about this problem. When we arrived in the hotel around midnight after a very long day and drive, we found out that the hotel is closed. The incompetant receptionist told us that we were placed in a different hotel. We had to rush to the other as the parking place was closing at midnight. Luckily we were able to drop the car and arrive in the new hotel to find out that the room that was reserved for us had no windowws. As we were very tired and wanted to sleep we settled down for what was offered to us. Needless to say, Hotel Prime Saint John managed to ruin our very first Rome vacation.

The state they have parking available but actually it is down the street in a sketchy garage and very expensive - way more then the hotel quotes. The hotel also was not accomodating about checking out late and breakfast was just "ok".
