Park Hotel dei Massimi - Rome

Hotel was OK, staff were very friendly and helpfull. Rooms were OK but dated furniture and bed covers etc - which were poor. Hotel location is pretty poor, not many options near the hotel for eating out etc. The hotel do provide a free shuttle bus to the Vatican, without which, travelling with a young child would have been very difficult.

Ero già stato in questa struttura sempre sfruttando i prezzi low cost offerti.Ripeto: ottimo il prezzo della camera, così come discretamente varia la prima colazione. Location assolutamente tranquilla e servita da bus (esiste anche una navetta per il vaticano ad ore stabilite).Parcheggio esterno ed interno gratuito, una novità per gli hotels romani.Confermo la cortesia e disponibilità del personale, con particolare riguardo per mr.Saki.

All very nice: room food staff location... good transportation option with shuttle bus - can recommend to anyone for short or long holidays - we were there 3 nights - great value for money.

The staff gets highest marks. Though the hotel is a bit off the beaten path the bus access is very good and the hotel will sell tickets for same. Breakfast was excellent and the staff there was also friendly and professional. I would use this hotel again.

Nice small hotel 20 mins from centre, good provision of courtesy coach and public transport. Fair value for money.Nice veranda with rooms.Stayed 7 nights. Breakfast choice was excellent, as was service. Only gripe was evening meal which we tried on first night-limited choice and quite expensive, would suggest local restaurants-chinese & pitza parlours were very good and reasonably priced.

Very accommodating. We especially enjoyed the generous hospitality extended by the restaurant staff. Internet access in the rooms would be a welcomed improvement.

The hotel and the staff were excellent. However the location isn't wonderful as it is a fair distance from the main attractions in Rome.

Nice hotel, a little further out, but they do have a shuttlebus service to Vatican and to the metro line. The service was really excellent and the price for this category was really good, considering the usual prices in Rome.

This hotel is too far from rome's center. the facilities to reach center are poor. it's an hotel for group travelling by bus.

The hotel is close to perfect (for the money you pay). Our room was really spacious, with comfortable bed, large bathroom,very clean and style decoration, and the most important-quiet! Breakfast not the best i've been offered, but it was good and sufficient. Really close to vatican and with the hotel shuttle bus gets piece of cake. Access through public transportation is also very easy by single bus from Vatican. I would honestly stay there again and recommend it as super price/quality choice. Ask for a front room-magnificent view of Rome. P.S. The personnel in the reception speaks english well, something not common in Italy!

Es ideal para quien busca tranquilidad pero está ubicado muy lejos de las zonas turisticas centricas . Es para salir por la mañana y regresar a dormir temprano.

Sehr nettes Hotel, um die Stadt Rom zu erobern. In nur 3 km Entfernung liegt der Vatikan, von wo aus man gut zu Fuß das Zentrum und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen kann. Toll ist auch der kostenlose Shuttle-Service. Das Personal spricht auch gut deutsch und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist für internationale Ansprüche durchaus reichhaltig. Allein die Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Hotelgelände sind etwas beengt. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Really good place to visit Rome without having to spend a fortune

A comfortable, pleasant hotel and an enjoyable stay. Our main criticism was that the hotel described its location as "a short distance from the Vatican". This is not, as we expected, on foot. Rather it is a ten minute ride in the hotel minibus which is rather infrequent and not normally available in the evening. The more frequent city bus service is a 5-10 min walk from the hotel with a further 20-25 mins to the city centre. The staff were efficient and helpful but could not be described as friendly.
