Fantastic hotel in a great location! The roof-top lounge was quiet and wonderful retreat after a long day of walking. I liked the modern style of the hotel and the self-service snack and drink guest amenities were outstanding! A good central location.

This was a WONDERFUL hotel and a thoroughly delightful stay. The price was not cheap (around $175/night), but for a first rate stay in the center of Rome, it was reasonable. The room was ready when I arrive -- a real boon for a jet-lagged traveler. It was spotless, ultra-modern, quiet and had all the necessary amenities. The room was small, which didn't bother me in the least - but if travelers care about more space, they should know. There was a nice workout room, and clever vending machines dispensing everything from water and wine to toothbrushes. One of the highlights of the stay was breakfast on the rooftop garden - not to be missed! It is extra (maybe $13 or so), but an amazing array of Italian cheeses and meats, fresh fruits and vegetables and yogurt. As well as many kinds of fresh bread and rolls, and the usual American breakfast staples. Absolutely lovely. The iQ will certainly be my hotel of choice when I return to Rome!

We stayed in Rome for the weekend and everything was fantastic. Everything is very new and very clean and although rooms are not huge they are big enough if you are not planning to throw a party!!. I have been to Rome several times so I know where you can end up sleeping but this place is totally recommended and I would come back again... no doubt...

Hotel iQ Roma is conveniently located being near to both bus routes and the metro. The staff are very helpful, the rooms very clean and nicely decorated in a modern style. The breakfast is very good value and offers great variety and quality. I would not hesitate to recomend this hotel - it is good value in a city where accomodations are quite expensive

Booked this hotel based on ratings on Trip Advisor. Have to say this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The vending machines on each floor are very convenient and reasonably priced. Staff at reception are very professional and the location was perfect for us for getting around Rome and the the train station. Would highly recommend plus I got a great price through Venere

My husband and I are independent people who love to take care of our own needs. The IQ Hotel Roma was a perfect situation for us: we were able to find everything we needed, from wi-fi service to beer, without having to bother the people in the hotel. However, when we did need the help of those at the front desk, they were eager to assist, knew English, and were very knowledgable. The staff anticipated our needs, providing us with the wi-fi code with our key, and offering us a map and directions to wherever we needed to go, before we even had to ask. The room was clean, fairly, spacious, and provided everything we needed. The only drawback was that our room, which faced the street at the front of the hotel, was a bit noisy, sometimes early in the morning (some kind of trucks, perhaps picking up garbage or cleaning the street?). However, we also heard the local church bells, which was lovely. We had breakfast in the hotel every morning, and it was decadent, filling, and worth the cost. Even better, everything was set up so it was easy to figure out how to work the equipment (such as the one that provided a wide variety of coffee drinks) and locate what we wanted to eat. A wide variety of international items were offered, including many American standards. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the Via Nazionale with tons of shops and restaurants, both metro lines, and within walking distance of both the Colosseum and Vatican City. We would gladly return to the IQ Hotel Roma any time!

Rooms are a little small for a 4-star hotel but adequate. Those that face inside can be noisier. Vending machines provide everything from wine to snacks. Good breakfast that costs extra.

The IQHotel is a perfect city hotel. We were very pleased that there was a fridge (empty) instead of a minibar and that we could buy water and drinks from a automatic self service for reasonable prices. Also the breakfast (not included in the room rate) was very good for € 10. To sit on the roofgarden after a hard sightseeing-tour was very special - we enjoyed it very much.

We are very happy that we stayed at iQ Roma. It was clean and newly decorated, and the rooms were very comfortable. Its decor is modern so if you are looking for a hotel with an old Roman ambience, then this is probably not the hotel for you. Rome Opera is next door to this hotel so if you are an opera lover this hotel's location is perfect. We feel iQ Roma was excellent value for money and would stay there again.

Very pleased with the hotel and its concept (vending machines, etc). Plenty of places to eat if you don't want to eat it. We chose the larger room and it was roomy with a 2.5 seater lounge chair. Breakfast provided a hot and cold selection of good-quality food for 10 euro. Welcome at reception was friendly and helpful, but trainee on duty subsequently although friendly was defensive when we mentioned our room had not been made up.

Hotel iQRoma was everything that we had hoped for and more! From the helpful welcoming staff at the front desk, to the excellent concierge service and our clean and spacious room, we were able to enjoy our fabulous Rome vacation in true comfort. It is centrally located so that we could walk to all of the main sites, and also enjoy our quiet time at the hotel with a lovely rooftop garden and convenient automatic dispensers for many different beverages (including some fine wines) and snacks. Our room also had a small fridge and a safe to store our valuables, and the free wi-fi was a real plus! The plentiful morning buffet which was available for a reasonable 10 euros per person was also much appreciated. I would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to this magnificent city, and I would definitely stay there again without any hesitation.

There isn't one bad thing I can say about this hotel. It had a Metro-(Repubblica) 2 blocks away and on the same street (Via Nazionale)you could catch a bus to many different parts of Rome. We took the train in to Rome Termini from the airport (very easy) and then it was a 15 minute walk to the hotel. The shower in the bathroom was fabulous! The room size is compact, but adequate. They offer a buffet breakfast up on the 5th floor which also has an adjoining rooftop area with tables and chairs. The breakfast is an additional 10 euro per day a person. It was delicious and offered scrambled eggs and bacon;fresh fruits & veggies, meats and cheeses;rolls, bread,& pastries. But the best was the coffee! Well worth the 10 euro~kept you well fueled until lunch. I would have to say though that the staff were the hotel's best asset. We were helped with directions and places to dine~they made all our reservations and we were never disappointed. I loved my time in Rome and when I return, I will book once again at the IQ Hotel!

you should avoid the ground floor rooms: while spacious, they are facing the street : you may feel that you are in a shop and that the one to be sold ! we asked for a change after the first night, and the staff was very understanding. we then had a 5th floor room, which was very nice. The IQ system is well organised. Rooms are clean and quiet.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious with Flat screen TV, nice bathrooms, good lighting and well working air conditioning. I had a family of 5 with three teenagers so we had 2 rooms adjoining – a double and triple. The triple room was exceptionally large. Both rooms had a balcony overlooking the Opera House. Free internet (through private kiosks located in the business center), exercise room, and laundry facility are nice extras. Loved the self service vending machines located throughout the hotel providing moderately-priced drinks (including water, soft drinks, wine and beer), snacks, and sandwiches. The self service roof-top garden area is a great place to relax and have a late night drink or snack under the stars. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. All spoke fluent English. Good location in Rome’s center. You are a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride or bus ride from most of Rome’s major attractions. The hotel does not have a restaurant or room service, but there are plenty of places to eat in the area. They did serve breakfast, however, my plan did not include breakfast so I cannot comment. I did not have a rental car, but parking appeared to be difficult. Great value for the money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking a modern, clean, high-quality hotel in Rome’s center who does not need the amenities of a restaurant and room service..

IQ hotel is absolutelly perfect. Me and 4 other friends stayed there for 5 nights. Is localized near via del corso, fontana di trevi, piazza navona..it took us about 15-20 minutes walking.. and very close to metro piazza republica about 1-2 min. The rooms are new and clean and they also have balcony. We had 2 small roms reserved but for us were perfect. The breakfas is delicios, you have many choises like cold starters, milk with cereals, omlette, fruits, coffe, juice, for 10 euro... I will recomend this hotel to anyone! And you get there very fast from termini station. Even if we had luggages we walked about 5-7 minutes from termini to IQ Hotel.
