The hotel was nice, and the staff was great. The breakfast was wonderful as well. The issue I had was that the hotel was not nearly as close as it suggested on the advertisement. We spent a lot of unnecessary time taking the tram, and walking because it was so much further from the center. We stayed in a triple. We were not really close to anything, so I would say everything, once you take the tram to the end. I was disappointed.

Manca il ristorante in albergo, stanza piccolissima, impossibile trovare un taxi al mattino (ho dovuto aspettare 2 ore), colazione appena sufficiente per un 4 stelle e pulizia della stanza non ineccepibile.

Although a very clean and modern hotel, we were shocked by the size of the room on arrival, tiny! It was nothing like the advertisement. Staff were not overly friendly. My booking confirmation said "use of the internet access terminal is free of charge" however on asking this was not the case. The breakfast was ok, overall a very average hotel.

Villa Glori is an excellent option for visiting Rome, the only thing is that the instructions for arriving to the hotel are not very clear, we were confused on the train #2 we had to take; at Flaminia metro station there is also a train station and we took a #2 train which took us out of the city. Once you get it clear is very easy. Also is very easy to go from the hotel to anywhere in the city in few minutes. One thing I liked very much about the hotel is the place where it is located, the street is very silent and peaceful. Enjoy it!

Think twice before staying here. The staff were unfriendly and snotty without reason. The hotel misrepresents itself on the web. IT IS NOT "STEPS" FROM ANYTHING. It would be a 20 minute walk, just to get to Piazza Popolo, which is on the outer edge on the "center". Public transportation in this part of town is NOT good. My advice is to pay the extra money to stay in a more central location (it is not even considered to be "within the wall"). You will end up paying more money and taking more time to get anywhere. On that note they misrepresented their cost for airport transportation and since they are outside the wall, taxi's don't have a flat-rate. The room stank like bad perfume or hairspray, enough to give me a headache. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Villa Glori has been a pleasant and tranquil hotel. The location rather made me feel relaxed when I returned from the bustle of tourist areas in Rome. Absolutely worth paying.

We have been here 3 days, and were very happy with the choice. The price was perfect and the quality great. Very close to the centre of Rome, only 3 bus stops. Very clean room, our was quite little but had the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Very rich breakfast, employees very kind and always ready to give infos. Neraby you can find restaurants and shops. Next time I'll be in Rome, I'll go there again. Highly raccomended!!!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times the service and cleanliness has been excellant. Across the road is a great restaurant called La Frazzeria. The tram takes you into the town centre within a few minutes. The room we stayed in was very clean we had maid service every day. The staff were excellant even allowing me to practice my very limited Italian on them. I would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

Very easy to get to & close to city centre. We were worried about the location of the hotel, thinking it may be a bit far from the centre of Rome but it is very easy to get to and takes only 5 minutes to get to the Piazza Poppolo. Great breakfast & breakfast room looks so much nicer than in photo. Great staff - helpful, warm, friendly. We intend returning in the New Year.

Extremely good hotel. It has been one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in Europe for its star rating. I would definitively go back again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good as well. It is not totally centric but not far away either. A tram and you're in Flaminio metro station from where you can go anywhere and if you fancy walking, then it gives you the perfect excuse to walk for 15 mins to get to the station. The fact that it wasn't totally centric was good for us as it also allowed us to get to know different areas from Rome (which where not that far away from town centre and cheaper as well)

This hotel was a plesant surprise. It is a bit further from the centre but only 5 mins on the tram. I have stayed in many hotels in Rome and this one was certainly the best value and the only one with friendly staff and a high level of customer service.

The Villa Glori is a small homely hotel in a quiet mews close to the river. It is rated3* but the rooms are nearer 4*. Immaculately clean from the polished marble lobby to the pristine en-suite bathrooms. Smartly furnished public areas in very good decorative order. Bedrooms comfortably furnished with pleasant drapes and bed covers. Crisp and clean bed linen changed daily. Flat screen TV, digital safe and well stocked mini bar. Extremely helpful front-desk staff (even at 3.00am arrival!! - 3 hours late -thanks Ryanair!) - staff couldn't have been more pleasant. We felt we had made a real 'discovery' here. Hotel breakfast is more than adequate, a little more choice than typical continental. There are a couple of nice bars and restaurants just across the street. Location is more than a stroll from major attractions but plenty of public transport (tram to Flaminia Station (3 stops) and then Metro to anywhere else. NOTE - please be extra extra vigilant about thieves - one member of our foursome had his wallet (in a zipped up side pocket of his trousers) stolen by a pickpocket (with diversionary accomplice) on the Metro. At the police station there were two other victims who had their handbags slashed and purses stolen - again on the Metro) We used taxis - they're not that expensive during the day-especially if there's a few of you to share. A great weekend in a quality hotel at value for money we couldn't believe.

When I arrived at Rome the hotel called me saying they could not reserved any room there because work in progress downstair in the street...so they reserved me another room in a different hotel, but more expensive...so I did pay 100 euros instead of 75 euros for a single room!

The Villa Glori was a bit of a disappointment and its totally over-rated! Its nowhere near Villa Glori and it is far from the centre and is relatively expensive. I checked into my second hotel the day after, which was cheaper and central with far better facilities and services. The sheets at the Villa Glori stank! - no excuse for that. the bathroom was cute and that is about it. While trying to take a nap, I was continuously disturbed by the cleaner who kept running up and down the stairs screaming, while running away from her male colleague. I think I'll pass next time!
