Lovely hotel in a a tranquil section of Rome. Excellent connections to mass transit - a short hop by bus from Termini and all the sites of central Rome. The area around the hotel is a residential middle class neighborhood with parks and wonderful sites, such as Santa Costanza and Art Nouveau architecture. Lovely continental breakfast with many options. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming, and provided excellent recommendations for dinner and walks. I only stayed here for one night, but I will be back for many more in the future.

we (a five persons family)stayed first time in this wonderful hotel. The hotel is located in a nice part of rome. the historic center and all the sites can be reached easely by bus or tube. If you are expecting an old fashioned/romantic place (as discribed in the pictures) this hotel is perfect in every sence of the word, and not only in relation to the price. We will definitly come back!

We liked very much the friendly staff at the hotel. They were very helpful with giving direction to the different attractions in the city. We loved having breakfast in the cute garden and homey ambience. The hotel is located in a very good neighborhood not far from central statation(Termini). There are buses in front of the hotel that could take you directly to Vatican city and collesium with only 1 euro per person. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we appreciated the help from the friendly front desk staff. Eventhough the kitchen was closed in the evennings, the receptionist was very nice to make us tea when we returned to the hotel after a long day of site seeing.

lovely hotel, very welcoming and with a beautiful shaded garden to escape the heat of the sun or for breakfast. Exceptional value and wonderful service. Room (we had a superior double) had air conditioning and was big enough for two. Location is some 15 mins from the centre in a quiet and pleasant area with a park nearby for running. Access to the centre is easy by public transport just outside the hotel. highly recommended

Good relationship between price and quality, but very very small room and not soundproof, that results in a terrible noise all the night as for the room was on Nomentana street, a very busy road.

The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming and the hotel was very clean and well run. The breakfast offered plenty of choice and in copious amounts: fresh fruit through to sweet pastries and cooked food. The room was smaller than anticipated but we had enough space to move around the room easily. We had trouble with the wireless internet connection, which seemed to have too many restrictions to be useful to antipodean travellers. The hotel is out of the historical center of Rome, but we had no trouble catching buses or using the underground. Via Nomentana is on a major bus route. There is a bancomat nearby, further north up the street. Overall, an enjoyable stay for a few nights in a professionally run, small, personal hotel. The only downside with location is that it is outside the centro storico although commuting to the centre is relatively easy with only a 10 minute trip to the Termini.

The hotel is really nice, very clean, very good breakfast and very friendly and competent employees. It's not the cheapest hotel in Rome but definitely worth spending few more euros for its quality.

The staff at Villa del Parco were wonderfully helpful and kind. They were able to help us with directions many different times and it was always in a very kind manner, not as though we were bothering them. The rooms were spacious and had the bathroom ensuite. The breakfasts were quite plentiful and were delicious. Villa del Parco was a little northeast of the city center, but the bus took us to within a few hundred feet of the hotel and the underground was also not too far away. You could get to wherever you needed by taking either the bus or the underground.

Excellent hotel! Very friendly people, speaking fluent English (which is not so common for Italy). The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished but quite small (though, the bathroom is almost the size of the room itself =0)). A bit loud despite of the fact that the hotel is in the park, but not too loud. THe location quite convinient - easy reach by bus to Termini (buses go very often, bus stop near to the hotel).

The hotel staff were excellent. They were very helpful as far as directions and how to get to certian sites, and also reccomending places to eat. The site is on the outside of the city center but convient to the bus and the metro and you could buy tickets for these right at the hotel. It is on a very busy street, so there was always that noise in our room, but I'm not so sure there is a quiet street in Rome!! But we were so tired after walking Rome that everyone slept without a problem. We had the quadruple room for us and 2 children ages 5yrs and 1.5yrs and it was on the large side for Rome, but there was some extra furniture in the room they could have moved. The room was kinda tight with baby crib and the extra furniture. Also they did not have a baby high chair, we brought our own, but it would have been nice for them to have one for breakfast. Also they are further from city center and I would have thought they might have been a little cheaper for their location. Overall this is a good hotel and the staff helpfulness outweighed what I call minor complaints.

We arrived at the hotel as scheduled. We were booked for a quad room since we were a family with two boys, 16 & 20. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and offered two rooms instead of our quad room, since they had the availability and thought we would be more comfortable. The boy's room was across the hall from our room. It was a wonderful option for us and the hotel maintained the same price we were originally quoted. A very fair deal. The area downstairs for relaxing and eating was very inviting. The staff in all areas was very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay at the Villa del Parco again. A great place.

We were so pleased with our hotel experience at Villa del Parco. The rooms, while small, were clean, pleasant and comfortable with all the amenities we required. This hotel is located only a few Km. from centre of Rome City. Has many buses that stops wright in front of Hotel. The Villa is just great, clean and well managed by Mr Enrico which I am sure comes from a nobel family. You will all be given a warm welcome and great service. The breakfest setting was just superb out in the villas Garden.

Nice family hotel with nice and really helpful staff. Our kids were treated very well, which is really important. The rooms were small, but we didn't mind that at all. The only problem was the noise level during the night, due to the heavy traffic on the big road outside.

A very nice comfortable hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. Only 2 criticisms - 1. Immediately after my booking I enquired for more specific details of the car parking arrangements but received no reply 2. For a first time visitor to Rome driving a car, the directions to the hotel were not at all good.
