The Hotel overall was good. Polite and helpfull stuff on reception, great location, nice breakfast, clean room. The only but big problem was that the room had windows looking to buildings on the back and 2 nights we couldn’t sleep because some neighbours were partying. We closed the windows but nothing changed, on the contrary we were overheated. The HOTEL couldn't do anything because the noise wasn’t coming from hotel residents so one Friday we stayed up all night and one Saturday we slept after 1:00.

The reception staff were very helpful, knowledgable and had great restaurant recommendations. The best thing about this Hotel was the location, but it was also very clean, great room facilities and great value for money. I will definitely stay here when next in Rome.

Location was great. Room was clean and nicely decorated but quite small. When we e-mailed the hotel direct they quoted us 25 Euro per night more then Venere did so I would recommend booking through Venere.

Very clean and quiet room (it was at the back), well furbished, although small. Nice breakfast (although narrow the breakfast hall). Very polite the employees. The location is perfect, just beside the Colosseum. We definetely choose it again next time.

I was there for my honeymoon, and the hotel was close to the central station and easy to find. My room was a double room and it was big and quiet and nice. The price was 144 euro per night, which I think is quite expensive, but comparing to other small and cheap hotels, I still prefer this one, so that I can get a good rest at night. The staff and the reception was very helpful too.

Good location. Fairly decent hotel. Mr. Noreno at front office is great, others seem indifferent. The bed spread in my first room was dusty, probably not washed for months and the room wasa tucked in a corner with no windows. On checkout, I requested a print out of my statement and the guy just ignored me. I said i'll come back later for it and he just ignored me and continued talking to people who were checking in. Wonder what they're upto? otherwise nice hotel...bit too pricy, though. E130 for triple in june08

Service was very good, evrey question was perfectly answered. The hotel is located very good when you arrive at the main station as well as when you walk to the city center at night. The room was exactly as shown in the Internet, small but absolutely satisfying for my niece and me.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Valle. Nice neighborhood and excellent location for exploring the city. Clean and fair price, especially for Rome. Rooms recently renovated (2008). Even an acceptable breakfast for a German gyu who needs some food in the morning :-). First night we had a not-so-pleasant room, but were able to switch to a very nice one for the remaining four night. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would come back any time!

i was plesantly surprised with this hotel. the exterior was not impressive but the room was renovated and the bath the nicest i found on my extensive trip. There is no public area, the bfast room is in the lobby but there was not a problem finding a table. Breakfast was more than just coffee and bread and was not limited. I have used Venere for the past 5 trips i have made and i will keep this hotel on my list to repeat. if you have lots of heavy luggage note that it is an UPHILL walk to the train station! no internet but the staff told me the cafe next door had an internet outpost.

Very quiet, and an excellent price/quality relation ship for a luxuous hotel in the center of Rome. Very easy access to trains and airport thanks to the proximity of the central station.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast area very small, if you didn't time it right you would have to queue and wait for a table to become free. Near to St Maria Maggiore church, worth a visit. Colosseum and Roman Forum within easy walking distance. Lots of eating places near to hotel.

They messed up our reservation so my husband and I spent the night in a very small single bed. Four of our other friends were moved to different hotels!!

We had a lovely stay at hotel Valle. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Considering we were in Rome the room was bigger than expected and the location was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

This is a good hotel, clean with a friendly staff. It is located very close to Termini rail station, which was good for me because I was only staying in Rome for two separate days before taking the train to travel to the Cinque Terre. Most of the staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations of where to eat. The first room I had however, room #108 smelled BAD. Like there was a cat's litter box somewhere in the room that hadn't been cleaned for 20 years, but clean. The second room was nice and didn't smell bad. If you are looking to be in the center of Rome you should look elsewhere but if this isn't important I would stay at this hotel

The room was ok. But the breakfast area was really awful. Just 5 tables for all the guests. If you didn't find a table you had to wait until someone else had finished their breakfast. The woman at the reception always seemed to be in a bad mood.

Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli in front of Piazza Repubblica. It was a pleasant room located at the back, quiet, all appliances were in good working order.Staff was helpful and efficient. This was my forth time in Rome. Still, lots remains to be seen.

I went in Rome to run marathon. The property arranged my room in a dependance 700/800 mt. far from the main building. It was impossible to have breakfast before the marathon start and I had to arrange it myself. The price for breakfast was on me.

It's an easy 10 minute downhill walk from the train station and another 10 minutes to the Roman Forum etc...very conveniently located and the staff was very helpful in answering questions. Restaurants, cafes and small groceries were very close.

Excellent value for a 3 star hotel. The hotel is very convenient to train station and coliseum and is very close to local restaurants, internet points, shops and on a safe well lit well known street. Breakfast was fine also.

This was our second visit to Hotel Valle. We like the hotel because it is located two blocks from the train station, 4 blocks from the Colosseum, and about a mile to the Vatican. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are beautiful--wonderful tile and apparently new, high-quality fixtures. Via Cavour is a busy street during the day, but noise at night was not a problem. Staff competence and hospitality are average to above-average. The breakfast is adequate. There are numerous cafes and inexpensive restaurants in the immediate area. Hotel Valle's only weakness is that the rooms are very small. The prices were as quoted by Venere.com.
