Perfect location. Hotel situated in a narrow alley very very close to the fountain. At walking distance of almost everything. Room clean, not very big but fine. Old shower with not too much pressure. Small restaurant with not many espace. Receptionist just fair. If you go there is for the location but not at any price (rates oscillates from 79 to real high values for a 3 star hotel. In the late case maybe you should also check other alterantives)

Trevi Hotel is a bit hard to find since it is down an alleyway. Our cab driver found it without too much difficulty. The Hotel is a good bargain. Great location, great breakfast, clean, everything you want in a budget hotel and not much you don't want.

hi first of all, the rooms were extremely smaaaaaaall, the door almost hits the bed; which also was not comfortable second, I had to wait for more than an hour in the lobby, on one of the 3 available chairs third, the rooms smells bad, and itchy fourth, I had to book twice, and paid the full amount upon arrival; since it is the hotel's policy fifth, though the room was too small, the A/C would not make it cold sixth, the panoramic garden is not as pretty as it looks on the picters, nor that big. I would never go back to this hotel again, and would not recommend it to anyone, especially family; unless they would like to get a bad experience. The only good thing about the hotel is just the location, nothing else. Regards, AA

I recieved a tiney single room: it was as wide as the bed, and even smaller in length. And yet, somehow they manages to fit everything inside it... all in all it's a fine hotel, but I wouldn't really to return there.

Great location and quiet rooms is a rare combination. Staff were very friendly but a little more effort could be made on the cleanliness and a lot more effort on the breakfast (lots of very sweet bread, pastries and juice). Rooms are small but contain all the necessary bits and pieces. Don't forget to visit the San Crispino Gelateria which is just around the corner. The best ice-cream in Rome.

Very nice SMALL room - Thin walls. We could hear every door oopening and closing. Small hotel- tiny elevator NO FOOD AT ALL offered. Location was literally 30 seconds from Trevi Fountain- up the first side street making it quieter at night than if directly in front. Hotel seemed very safe. Bed was better than most. I would return to this property but I would look for another as well before confirming.

Hotel was in an excellent position near trevi Fountain and staff were very helpful. Hotel breakfast was good with excellent coffee (Order the cappuccino). The only problems I found were that the lady a front desk was often there on her own and there was always a long queue to see her. The rooms are very small, but this is the trade off for being in the heart of Rome. Also found that hotel charges much more than a local taxi to book me a taxi to Pomezia.

Excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite. The only problem was there was no elevator in the building with the suites but the good thing was that there was a bellboy who carried our luggage. The rooms were rather dim, small bathroom but overall my experience was great & I would recommend it to friends.

The hotel was as expected from this site and the staff were all a fantastic help. The beds weren't very comfortable, but I've definitely slept on worse. For tourists, the location can't be beat, although you should make sure your bags have wheels, as only some of the taxis can get through the narrow street to the front door.

great location, double was good price at 100 but noticed that varies enormously depending on the day of the week, up 200-300 which I would not buy. booked a suite and got a small double: "we call these rooms suites", was the reply. Not good. I needed a second room on same floor and they arranged it, so good service. Breakfast sub standard for Rome. Overall happy.

We got only 1 kind of bread, pressed ham and cheese. Youghurt, but not every day, just small ones whith fruit. No müsli just corn flakes. Juice no hit. Eggs terrible: green and cold every day the same. Coffe, tea and latte was good. We wished we had better breakfast to start the day with.

We are very pleased with our stay at Hotel Trevi. The location was excellent, just a minutes walk from the Fountain and you could easely walk to all the city sites. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the main building and was clean and nice. The staff was wery helpfull and pleasant. If we are going to Rome again we will return to Hotel Trevi and we can recommend it to other travelers who are looking for a small Italian hotel.

We had a fabulous time at the Trevi... the hotel was clean and really couldn't have asked for a better location!! 1 minutes walk from the Fountain! The rooms are not anything fancy but that said it is advertised as a 3 star and i think it is definitely a good 3 star. The roof terrace for breakfast was nice as well... We had difficulty finding the hotel on the night we arrived (it is in a little alley) and so i called the hotel and the bellboy came and met us at the Trevi Fountain and carried our bags from there. We would definitely go back again.

We were very pleased with everything at Hotel Trevi. The location is excellent. We walked comfortably to all of the old city sites. The rooms were adequate, a typical Rome hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful variety of foods. The staff was extremely accommodating, always pleasant, offering assistance with directions and reservations. Sonya was particularly helpful. We would return to Hotel Trevi and recommend it to other travelers who are looking for a truly accommodating small Italian hotel.

The hotel rooms do not have any type of computer access/ports and the phones never worked. The photos on the web such as the breakfast area are not in use. For anyone who needs or is interested in hotel with using a computer-forget this one. The front lobby does not even have a computer. The rooms are large and for the price not bad. Maid service was very good. Cont breakfast was fair-even for it being cont. it could have been better and seating room is very limited for the hotel guest. Again, the photos on the web need to be updated for customers.

We had booked double room at hotel and were given appartment on arrival which was outside hotel complex. The appartment was good and we had access to hotel facilities. Other than a breakfast room which was inadeguate to cater for number guests and inadequatly staffed there were no other facilities e.g. hotel bar.

BEWARE: We stayed from 29th Jan to 1st Feb 2006(4 nights). For the first 2 days a builder was repairing a large area of the hall directly outside our room so there was hammering from 8.30am and dust so thick we breathed thru t-shirts to go out,you could taste the cement. We quietly complained and were shown a dingy room half the size so we stayed for another night in the same room with a towel at the foot of the door as a dust stop. Our belongings had been covered in cement dust for 2 days. Eventually we were given an adequate room but without a door or frame and an apologetic carpenter so we dumped our luggage and left for the day.The next morning we found that we'd been locked in all night as the lock didn't work so we had to call reception to rescue us. On leaving I again complained and was told by the duty manager to pay in full and to pursue our complaint from home(England) and that I could expect a 1 night refund. From that moment we have been ignored and all our emails unanswered. Conclusion:DON'T stay here. J.Holmes

We stayed in the building around the corner from the "main" property. Four of us (including two grown children) in the room was a little tight. Room was clean, modern bathroom (with very small shower) and very conveniently located to everything (Rome is an easily walkable city, and the Trevi Fountain area is a good departure point for all the major sights). Construction was going on in the main entrance when we were there. Breakfast appears to be typical by European standards (coffee/cappuccino, various pastries/breads, cereal, meats, juice, fruit), offered up in a nice rooftop garden (closed tight against the February weather we encountered). The family with small children next door were easily heard, and the apparently drunk couple screaming in the hallway well after midnight one night, were an annoyance. Front desk help in English appears to be a daytime only service. TV carried only Italian language stations (not counting music videos). Value, compared to what we saw at other hotels listed at venere.com, was good. All in all, we recommend the property, the positives outweighing the negatives.

We loved this hotel, its location is excellent - just a couple of minutes walk from Trevi fountain. The hotel staff were very helpful and efficient when we needed help. The roof garden was being improved while we stayed at the hotel, ready for next year. We had to eat in the cellar, which was a bit cramped, the hotel will use the roof garden on completion, to solve this problem. We will definitely return!

Our stay at Hotel Trevi in August 2005 was thoroughly enjoyable. The location was ideal for a walking tour of Rome, and the staff both friendly and helpful. On arrival we were shown to the Pantheon Suite, a superb two storey room to accommodate three adults (2ladies 1 gent)which was located next door to the hotel. We had our breakfast, bread, pastries, cakes, assorted cereals, fruits, yoghurts, meats and cheese, on the roof terrace of the hotel, a superb setting. I would like to visit Rome again next year and hopefully be able to stay once again at the Trevi.

Perfect location, particularly their satellite rooms in another building that is on a street with numerous cafes and shops. Extremely helpful employees who guided us to the best sights to see. Rooms are rather old and beds not great, so this hotel would disappoint those who must be pampered. Free breakfast is typical European continental style food.

This hotel was exactly as described. The location was right by the Trevi in walking distance of all main attractions yet set back in a side alley slightly off the road which was great as it is away from street noise and we slept like babies! Rooms, which are functional rather than plush; were extremely clean; the linen excellent and the shower/bathroom a very good size with inbuilt hairdryer too! The air conditioning was the best anywhere in my whole 3 weeks in Italy, a real boon after hot sweaty days walking around Rome! The staff were courteous and helpful on the things we needed help with, in our case using in room phone and getting a taxi to the airport. They arranged this on a special deal with the company and it turned into a nice excursion in itself as the driver took us to Avienti Hill and showed us the "secret door view" it's famous for! The rooftop testuarant was very cute with a big range of foods to choose from the buffet table. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the coffee which was a bit coarse but hey that's so minor! All in all I'd highly recommend the Trevi hotel as great value for money (we slept really well there too), we'd stay again for sure.
