We stayed at touring hotel for 2 nights June 17-19 2013. Rroom and bathroom were clean but very small, there is an elevator but first flight of stairs you'll have to carry your bags. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, easy to reach roma termini. breakfast is served to your room. No AC, so may be noisy with open windows. If you are looking for something at a good price and good location I'd recommend hotel touring.

Quite clean, welcoming, great location. Breakfast is a biscuit, croissant, and your choice of tea, coffee, etc. Staff were careful to check your choice of breakfast and time of breakfast delivery everyday (it is brought to your door), and they were very prompt. The only warning is that there is a short flight of stairs to get to the reception (which is on the first floor), so if you have very heavy luggage, or you are handicap/old, then you should be prepared. You also hear the street noise, but the noise level is the same as every other large city, nothing to make a fuss about.

The room was clean, had a private bath, free wifi, but was located in the lobby. Our room was by the lobby so we had signal but others had to go to the lobby to get signal. No air conditioner. Had to sleep with windows open and the noise from the street will keep waking you. Includes a pastry and coffee delivered to your room in the morning, you have to tell the front desk what time to deliver. Right across from train station and a quick walk.

No one spoke english, but that helped improve my Italian. There was a problem with the air conditioning in room 6 . But no matter how much I complained they made it look like I was the one to blame. The hotel was really in the center of town walking distance to the colosseum and everything else. We had reserved 2 rooms and they weren't next to eachother which was kind of a problem because we are with small kids. But because of the problem with air conditioning in room 6 we ended up all sleeping in room 2 which didn't have enough beds and we just made due. I was not compensated for that. They weren't very friendly, but it was alright. There were many young people there at all hours of the night, but we were the only family.

This was a great hotel. It was smaller and the staff was very friendly. They didn't all speak english but I didn't expect them to, after all, I was the tourist visiting their homeland. Breakfast was delivered in the morning and we could pick what time it would be brought to the room and could pick what we wanted to have. The location was GREAT. It was right next to the train station which made getting around very easy--especially getting back to the airport. It was also a great location because it was very close to many attractions within walking distance, the Coliseum for one was only about a 20 minute walk.

room spacious and clean and excellent location for Terminii. However, overlooking street to front and a lot of traffic noise and some people on street below talking loudly until 2am so sleep difficult. 1st morning got "breakfast" (small paper cup of cappucino and croissant, very poor!) at correct time of 8am but other 2 morns, knock on door at 7am and got expresso instead of ordered cappucino. 24 reception good

Not worth as much as it costs. Terrible hotel do not stay here!!! The staff spoke next to nothing english and at one point were about to through us out as they couldn't understand that we had already checked in. You have to leave your hotel room key with reception and your bags are left in the middle of the walkway when you want to leave with them. The breakfast is also next to nothing - terrible crossiants that taste a week old and a juice that is so watered down its definatley cordial. The showers are terrible - bathrooms are very smelly. You get what you pay for but LESS! We did this very last minute so was really are last resort we where ready to move to a hostel that night but after lugging heavy luggage up the stairs that was enough.

I choose this hotel because I was traveling alone and not able to spend more money on a higher rated hotel. To begin my first 10 minutes in the room there was a bug crawling on the floor. The staff does not speak much English so I had to go to a hotel across the street and ask for help there. Had a terrible experience with one of the staff members who was very rude and took a previous stressful situation out on me. Was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel unless of course you can not afford any other nearby hotel.

I stayed this hotel in July. Our room had no air-conditioner, only a fan, which was almost broken and the street was VERY noisy all the night long, so it seemed imossible to sleep there. All facilities was old. The breakfast was poor even for Italy - a small cup of coffee, one croissant and 2 tiny biscuits (every day the same). And they refused to accept my credit card, because the equipment was out of order (I'm not really sure it was). Twice in 4 days the entrance door to hotel was locked at afternoon, so we had to await about half of hour. I don't think this hotel is a good choice in summer.

In hotel noise was terrible - room to room was worse than the outside noise of the traffic. The bed was hard and the pillow flat. Glad I only stayed one night. Breakfast is delivered to your room and quite adequate. Internet use is easy but 3 euro charge. Staff were very nice and welcomimg. Good restaurant across the road Bar Washington. Fine for a one night stay if you need to be near the station but wouldn't recommend otherwise.

The hotel is nice and very well located. Only one employee spoke english. If you speak spanish or portuguese won't have problems in communicating with people in italian (it's not very necessary to talk, in fact, as the rooms are easy to find and there's a map you can take. The only bad thing: the room was REALLY hot inside... seems we slept inside an oven. The window didn't open at all and the little fan provided was not enough to get some fresh air inside. But, in general, is a nice place if you're searching only for sleeping and great location, close to many shops, restaurants and the main station (Termini).

During my stay in Rome I stayed at two hotels for the exact same price. The first night was at the Touring Hotel. I almost cried when I saw the prison cell they called a room. The next night I switched to the Double B Bed and Breakfest which was the same price for the remainder of my trip. The room was twice the size as the Touring and the internet was free. The hotel is very simple but very clean. The location is great, very close to Stazione Termini and right in the centre of Rome. You can walk to some of the main attractions (including the Coliseum) or get busses to reach any other touristic destination. The staff is friendly and helpful. In the morning they bring breakfast to all rooms (there are no public areas except for a small space by the reception). You can choose the drinks and the time you want breakfast to be delivered the night before. Breakfast includes croissants. The only negative side is that the hotel is on a very noisy street. This is not a problem if you can sleep with the window closed because it becomes very silent. However, if it's very hot and you want to keep the window open, you may have problems with sleeping although traffic is much less in the night. No air conditioning, so it's probably not suitable for the hottest months. But there are fans in the room, which can compensate the lack of air conditioning. Overall good value for money and we would certainly consider going back to this hotel.

I am an experienced traveler and have stayed at many different types of accommodations in my travels from $1 hut in Laos to $1000+ Four Seasons. In my 4 day 3 night stay in Rome, I wanted a spend as little as possible on the room and wanted to spend money on shopping and dinning. This hotel provided me with very clean and quite room (ask for back rooms away from the street), hot shower, safe and convenient location and security for my valuables items at $74 night (best deal I could find). It was very hot and humid in early September in Rome and my room (#9) had air conditioning with remote control which worked perfect. The room also had a nice sized wardrobe to hang my cloth and stow my shopping items. The staff was very friendly except one (he looks Indian but I could be wrong and he works in the evening) who could be a little annoying or moody. Some facts: 1. It's 2 blocks away from Termini station and bus terminals but if you took the Leonardo Express from the airport and end up coming out of the door at the very back of the station, its a long, uphill walk (12+ blocks) to the hotel. This happened to me and I was soaking wet by the time I reached the hotel. I recommend taking a taxi (less than 5 euros) to the hotel. Alternatively, ask if you could walk through the station and come out of the front entrance. 2. Breakfast is weak. They bring it to your room with your prefered drink (I had cappucino) and a pastry which wasn't the best. 3. The staff are friendly but do not speak a lot of English so better to have your trusted guide book to rely on. 4. There is wireless internet (5 Euro per day) but only works in the lobby. There is a desk and sofas there. Also a computer you can use. I had my laptop and there is no A/C in that area so that was a bit uncomfortable. 5. The bed is soft so I had back ache from it. But the sheets and towels were very clean. Overall, I had an excellent stay and it was a very good value.

The Hotel is perfectly located, close to the Metro/train/bus stations. The rooms are very nice and cleaned every day. The breakfast is the only thing that is a little poor, because they take it to your room, so if you want to eat more than One croissant, you have to pay extra. I really enjoy my stayed there and recommend it!!

Remember: No air conditioning! But a cheap place to stay if you just plan on sleeping in your hotel room. I am grateful I speak Italian because it was absolutely necessary to speak with certain members of the staff. The phone in our room never worked, even after asking them to turn on them several times. There is Internet--both wireless and ethernet, but the ethernet is only on their computer, so if someone else is on it, you can't use it. If you have your laptop, you can use the wireless, but not from your room--only from the cramped lobby area. Also, they charge 3 Euro an hour--the same as the Internet cafe next door, except that the cafe allows you to purchase time in half hour increments. Touring doesn't.

il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono ma la stanza è MOLTO rumorosa.La colazione è scarsa e con una possibilità di scelta quasi nulla.in linea generale è buono per un soggiorno turistico specialmente per la vicinanza a tutti i trasporti.

The staff was extremely helpful in allowing us to check in a day in advance and moving our timetable up by one day. They were very enjoyable and by all means probably offered some of the best customer service I received during all of my trip to Italy.

We stayed there for 3 nights, first 1 in room 10 to be avoided as much as possible. It as air condition in it but overlook an awful internal courtyard that you cannot llok at and in the floor there is a pipe of red hot water that is going through, might be great for heating in winter but real crap in summer even with the noisy air condition on! Try room 5,a bit more noise, but a balcony, a view in the street you can glaze at... no air condition but still excellent. Staff was plaisant, happy to help us to find another room after the room 10 experience and always friendly and full of advice. Bathrooms where very clean, towels changed every day, shower in all, cleaned every day. I recommend this one for a cheap short stay in Roma, central location easy reach from everywhere...real good value vs cost.

Nice inexpensive hotel, at a great central location (very close to Termini, also 20 minutes walking from Colloseum and Spanish steps and other Rome features). Very basic, almost no features (does offer cheap WiFi wireless Internet connection), including no proper breakfast but that obviously to keep price low. But who goes to Rome to sit in a hotel room... Only downside for me was no airco, as others have mentioned the street is noisy (busy street), that would not be a problem if you could keep window closed but you cannot do that without airco in July and August.

The air conditioning advertised was actually a small table fan in the room which was far from adequate when it was over 100 degrees every day we were there. The shower was very tiny, I'm a small guy, only 145lbs, and I had to squeeze to get into it. Also the toilets in the rooms can't have anything other than liquids flushed down them which is a pretty big inconvenience. Most of the hotel staff doesn't speak any English. On the good side, the room was very quiet and dark with the windows closed which was nice, and you get a free breakfast in your room every morning and it's close to the train station. Overall it's a cheap hotel, but not bad for the money compared to other hotels in Rome.

For the price and location, it's the best place you can stay if you want to be near Termini. The breakfast isn't great but everything else was pretty damn good.

The hotel is well situated. 8 minutes walk to Termini Station and to public buses, thus easy to get transport. At night it is a bit noisy because there are other hotels in the surroundings and there are pick-ups of tourists to and fro the surrounding hotels. Regarding the room, it would have been better if there is a safe inside the room, a mini-fridge as well as airconditioning. The bathroom is not convenient as it is an all-in-one i.e includes a lavabo as well as a toilet. Our general experience: good on the whole. We have not received a warm welcome. The lady at the reception cannot speak English; only a few words. However there are 2 other staffs we met on the following day and one of them can speak English and French.

The first think I should mention cleanliness of the room, it was extremely clean and tidy. I had a little problem with my key, and the staff was very helpful and friendly to sort it out ( turned out that I pushed the key too far !) . I only had a problem with the map I printed off the venere's web site where hotel is shown on the wrong side of the street but by asking someone I found the hotel in 10 mins. Breakfasts can really improved as serving coffee/ tea in plastic cups & plastic trays with a piece of pastry I think did not suit to this very clean, friendly hotel. Location of the hotel is very handy as it is 6-7 mins walk to main train station, termini. If you leave your room early in the morning, the noise from the street would not disturb you as in Rome as well as in Paris people travel on motorbikes and they are bloody nuisance. To sum it up, for the money I paid, I had a great service.

Great location very close to train station but on the "good" side (south). Lots of facilities surrounding. Staff dont speak english, but not a problem for us. Had a triple room which was huuuge and an ensuite bathroom. Best value for money hotel I have used in Rome. Breakfast is basic but good enough with your choice of fresh coffee.

I paid 120 euro's to stay in a hotel that should not have charged me 40. The rooms reminded me of a youth hostel more than anything. They really milked the coming of the EUFA Champions league to Rome. I would recommend this Hotel only as a last resort.

Very good Hotel, in a very good location, between the Termini Train Station and the S.Giovanni in Laterano's Place, but without any train noise..They don't have a room for the breakfast so they'll serve it in your room, with a croissant, some biscuits and an hot drink(coffee, chocolate, tea or cappuccino) that you decide the day before. Very good value-for-money..I can advise it surely..
