The hotel staff assisted us in getting taxis and gave us directions. Breakfast was included in the rate. We were within walking distance of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Campo de'Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, etc. There is a bus stop right outside and plenty of restaurants. It was a great location.

The personnel at the Hotel Tiziano could not have been more gracious. On the day we arrived,we decided that we wanted to stay for two additional days at the hotel. They juggled their other reservations in order to allow us to stay. The hotel is in a fabulous location, just a short walk to the Pantheon and Navona. Our family tends to pick location first and then select our hotel. While this hotel isn't a big, luxurious hotel located on the Spanish Steps, it is a very comfortable hotel located in a much better location. We will happily stay at Hotel Tiziano the next time we are in Rome. The only true drawback to the hotel is that it is located on a busy street. My husband and I didn't mind because it allows for some great people watching from your window! The hotel's windows must be triple paned, because there was minimal street noise at night.

The bathroom looked a bit tired, and was very small. The reception staff never bothered to smile, but spoke good English. Between three of us in three rooms we had eight single beds. Very thin walls between rooms. They mistook that our booking was only for one night (I booked two), I rushed back upstairs to get the Venere confirmation, when I got back to the reception desk just said "our mistake, is OK two nights". Ideal location for the historical centre of Rome. A bit pricy for what it was. Breakfast satisfactory. I have stayed better for less in central Rome.

Very helpful, English speaking staff. We loved the location of this hotel! It was within walking distance of many of the sites. The hotel staff was excellent! The included breakfast was great. We could order coffee any style including cappucino. The room was spacious and very quiet.

This hotel is located in an excellent area to see many attractions nearby. The hotel staff provided a map and directions. Public transportation (busses) very good & easy to use. Many good restaurants & safe walking. Continental breakfast was provided - very good & plentiful. The room was a little small - but comfortable.

The expected room was on the main road, very noisy. We asked for a change and they gave us a nice room at the back, with view on the roofs. The bathroom was new, very nice, the room was small but clean. Comparing with other ****hotels around the world, we found that hotels in Roma are very expensive. Hotel Tiziano is very well located, we could visit all the interesting places by foot

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and spacious especially when travelling with two children. Only one comment against this hotel is that it can be noisy because of the location on the main road, but the advantages outweigh this. Also breakfast is excellent. Staff very courtious.

My generall opinion is it's a perfect located hotel. It's in the middle of rome. Clean and with very competent employees. The only negative comment is that it's an old hotel (althought reformed) and its price is a little high compared with services given. Nevertheless, what you are paying with this hotel is LOCATION. If that is what you are looking for, this is the perfect place. You won't regret...

Excellent hotel, quite reasonnably priced for a four-stars in Rome. A real breakfast (buffet with large selection). Within walking distance of Pantheon, Navona and Campo de' Fiori (and if it is not too hot, you can even walk to Campidoglio and the Foro or west to Vaticano). Tip: Trattoria del Pallaro on the Piazza of the same name (no sign outside, no menu inside, but what a feast!)

Great hotel and staff were outstanding. Very clean. My room was was on th efront side located on a busy street. Two of the five nights were noisy. I will request a room in the back next time. I would definitely stay there again. Location was the best. Eat at La Tosca. The best pizza in Rome!

Hotel was just as expected. Great location, easy walking distance to major sights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room for 4 included large double bed and 2 small twin beds in a semi-separate room (no door) for kids. Bathroom was roomy. Breakfast was well-stocked and had a lot of variety. Room overlooked busy street, but with window closed, only minor street noise. A/C was very good.

Nothing to complain about Tiziano except the relationship between the price of the room ( € 280) and the quality of the room itself which seems not to have been restored properly. I above all did not like the panorama beyond the window which was a very dirty and abandoned courtyard with a lot of trash in it. But the location was perfect because allowed us to reach all monuments and major places by foot.

The hotel was as expected compared to the webbsite. Maybe the photos was a bit more positive than the actual rooms. And we had no view whatsoever from the windows - but instead it was quiet. Staff was very helpful. A minus though for a plumbing work done in our bathroom on our third day. We got no notice about it on forehand and came back for a siesta and shower with our two kids - but couldn't access the room. After a dispute they offered a small reduction on the room rate for that day. The location is perfect, and the room was spacious enough for the four of us.

I normally don't spend this much for a hotel but I was travelling with my 80 year old mother. It was a perfect accomodation for us. They gave us quiet rooms in the back. Mine was smaller than my mom's. Hers was actually a double I think. They charged us for 2 singles. The staff was very warm and helpful. We were also well situated for buses and sites within walking distance. Recommended by some friends of mine. Very nice.

Loction of hotel is excellent for walking to all of major sites. Room/bath was spacious (even by American standards). Cleanliness an A+++++. Only disappointment was that Internet computer was inoperable for entire 4 night stay and that was 1 of the reasons given for choosing this hotel. Breakfast buffet good; did not use hotel restaurant facility as there are mega choices in local area. Front desk recommended local restaurant which was excellent and not tres expensive. Would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again if visiting Rome proper.

This is the perfect place to stay in Rome if you want to see the major sites. The Pantheon is a two minute walk north (we had a view of the dome from our window), and the Piazza Navona is less than five. The Coliseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Vatican are all an easy walk, 15-30 minutes each. There are so many great little restuarants in the area too. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome.

We had a great experience at the Tiziano. What a great location!! We were able to walk everywhere! We had a quadruple room (2 adults 2 kids) – Large enough (probably HUGE according to European standards), very comfortable (King bed, 2 singles, plenty of pillows), the bathroom was very large & roomy. Everything was very clean & new (perhaps newly renovated). The Tiziano is located on a busy main street (We watched the Rome marathon from our window!) – The car noise did not bother us (it actually lulled us to sleep at night) but you may want to ask for a room at the rear if you must have absolute silence for sleep. The staff was friendly (spoke many languages including English) & arranged a day trip to Pompeii (they can arrange many others) for us. Coffee (espresso, cappuccino), multiple juices, many breads & pastries, ham & cheese….. Breakfast (which is included) was more than adequate! We would definitely recommend this hotel & we would definitely stay there again!

We just returned. The location is wonderful--equi-distant between the Vatican, the Coliseum and Spanish Steps located on the busy Corso Vittorio Emmanuele. The staff was cheerful and helpful; they arranged for airport limo service (taxi). Rooms are adequate but inside corridors remind me of a dorm and are quite noisy if you have noisy neighbors. No safe in room. Public rooms are a bit tired--could use new decor. Breakfast included--okay.

I was very favourably impressed by the Tiziano's organisation. The Instant Booking feature was very useful and they contacted me by email about transportation to and from the airport. When I replied and made some requests for museum reservations, they were quick and very efficient. The hotel itself has an excellent location but is on a very busy road and I have no idea how noisy rooms on that side would be. My own room, however, was in the back and the noise from the small road behind was usually minimal. The room itself was very clean and comfortable although perhaps somewhat characterless. The weather was hot (but not searingly so) and humid and the air conditioner worked well. The bathroom was very clean and well kept although the shower cubical was miniscule. I tend not to use much in the way of hotel facilities so I cannot comment much on the Tiziano's but it would have been nice to be able to use their intenet connection (found in a booth near the reception desk) for free at least for a short period of time. The staff at the Tiziano were very friendly and by far the highlight of this hotel. Generally speaking I was quite happy with the Tiziano. It is, basically, a fairly standard hotel and not outstanding in any way (either good or bad), but I certainly did not feel that I had wasted my money and I would be happy to stay here again.

Though the hotel boasted a 4-star rating, the facility was a little run-down and dated for the price. The carpet, bedding, and appliances in the room were old, the bed was lumpy and the shower stall was so small, I had trouble closing the shower doors. With that being said, the quality of the facility at Tiziano was consistent with the quality of other hotels in Rome where I previously stayed...poor. My experience with hotels in Rome-and Italy, in general--is that, except for the most expensive properties, the facilities are of poor quality compared to hotels in other major international cities. Though the location of the hotel was great (5 minutes from each of Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona) I would book a less expensive 4-star property, or pay more money to stay at a 5-star property. Though not terrible, Tiziano was not a good value for the money.

Hotel in perfect location, apart from being on a busy mainroad. ALL attractions within walking distance. We did not need to use a bus, taxi or metro once. Staff very friendly and breakfast very good. On the negative side, there was not really a bar (at least it was never open), the carpets in the breakfast area looked like they had never been vacuumed or cleaned, the cost of the stay was much too expensive.

Staff are v welcoming and the hotel is 5 minutes from the Pantheon and piazza Navona. The room was stylish and spacious and had just been redecorated. The bathroom suite was brand new. Breakfast buffet was good, with a nice Italian touch. Only drawback was the traffic noise when you opened the window, but the windows were well insulated, so it wasn't a problem. We had a great stay in hotel Tiziano.

I booked this hotel based on the pictures of a stylish room and beautiful breakfast/ restaurant hall. however according to the concierge it turned out that there is only 1 room like that in the whole hotel and 65 others are different, more modern, really ordinary - basically not what i wanted and not what i was prepared to pay 180 euros for. so generally i'm disappointed and will never book a hotel on the internet again unless it's recommended by someone i know.

This was a wonderful place to stay---near P. Navona and close to everything else. The room was extremely comfortable (except for the construction noise in the next room, a temporary suituation, I'm sure). The hotel is a perfect blend of Italian style-hospitality (you know you're not at a Marriott) and modern convenience (large beds, heat and ac, etc). But the real plus here is the staff. Paolo in particular looked after every detail, making reservations for dinner, advising us on directions, and suggesting all the right things. He was like a personal assistant for our entire stay.
