If you need just a bed and room to sleep is good enough to choose this place, but if you need to use bathroom and even toilet or you would like to have good breakfast, it is better to forget about this place. But As location the hotel is in good place , close to Termini and this is the only advantage of it. In my point of view it is not hotel at all, it is just hostel.

Tizi is a great choice for the budget traveller. It is within walking distance of all main attractions and the rooms on offer are clean and spacious. During my 3 night stay at Tizi, I just walked everywhere, never really needing to use public transport. It is also close to the main Rome train station, from which you can easily get transport to all main airports when leaving Rome. The breakfast on offer could be a bit more refined, but then again, we cannot have it all...

I've been to rome a lot of times, i've been also living there for a few months. The sorrounding area of the hotel is very nice and centered, it's good to be able to go around easily, with the metro station in 5 minutes walking. However, the hotel is very poor in room and staff courtesy and general services (breakfast served from 8 to 9.30 only...at 9.35 you will not find anything left!). But the worst thing was that THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THE ROOM!!! The toilet was without window and the ventilation sistem didn't work as well as the radiator of the room. We were completely frozen after we took the cold shower!

I do not recommend this hotel. It's not a hotel. It's a dormitory. The room was very cold. With all the blankets it was not possibile to stay warm. I was there in december. Find another place even for one single evening. Do not ruin your stay in Rome choosing this dormitory!!!!

The owner was very friendly. Small breakfast with coffee (not that good) and croissant with jam. On the first day there was only cold water in our room. The hotel is located quite central near the station termini.

+ Very good breakfasts (sweet rolls, jam, cofee, tea) served by an extremely helpful guy. - The shared toilets were not very clean.

This hotel is cheap and well located. Nevertheless, it doesn't compensate the lack of service and investment. The bathroom is broken as are the toilets and the male staff isn't friendly at all. The breakfast is really poor, the butter stinking and the coffee being not fresh.

Not luxury rather basic but antonio is delightfully funny! It is good value for money but if you want a posh place avoid it!

Well..It was an old building but an older hotel, great location, close to metro, sites. Our room was not the best, cleanest room just to crash and sleep after long walks in Rome, we did not care about no seat on toilet, but we should..

The hotel was clean and the room and bath adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical Italian roll and coffee but definitely good. We did have some difficulty understanding the directions given to us regarding the bus stop. All else went smoothly and we would recommend this hotel.

I think this B&B is ideal for people who want to wake up in the morning, and return just to sleep. Breakfast is good, however poor for cultures used to have breakie as the main meal of the day. Tizi employees kindness and willingness to help you get oriented in Rome is a plus. I truly recommend the gelateria nearby!

Stay in Tizi but only if you can accept: Dirty floor, Dirty and molded bathroom including mold on the walls, no change of bedroom linen for 4 nights, no change of towels for 4 nights and only 2 provided, these were actually no towels but cloths with stains all over, and if you ask for more towels you will hear"if you don't like it you can find another hotel". If you ask during the breakfast if you can get espresso instead Latte, you will hear"Espresso you can find in cafe on the street!". Nobody speaks English at the hotel. You will also have to handle a story from the owner on how terrible is life in England: how expensive is there, how pasta plates are small in UK, and how awful weather we have, how crowded is London ( as if Rome wasn't too lol...) Honestly, spend 20 euro and get a proper hotel and do not expose yourself to the dirt and rude treatment.... I will certailny NOT come back there. Plus, if it wasn't for the penalty fee for cancellation I would move out after first night!!!!!

We stayed there only one night to wait for our flight, thanks god its only one night. There's no air conditioner. Room was clean enough. big beds. limited facilities and services. However the staff at the reception desk was kinda creepy. I dont know if its because of the cultural difference but I can't accept a hotel staff trying to hug or kiss young female customers on their first arrive. This is totally unprofessional and impropriate. Not recommended for young ladies if you're not with a guy.

I was looking for an economical place in Rome and I found Tizi. At first I was a bit worried because it was really cheap and I feared that it could have poor quality, but everything went right. Really good, really cheap, near Via Veneto and not far from Termini. It's very simple and looks a little bit old, but it's clean and pleasant, and has one of the best relationships between price and quality that I've seen. And with breakfast!! The neighbourhood is near the city centre (Piazza Spagna is more or less at ten minutes walking) and is a really safe and quiet zone, as it is full of embassies, banks and ministeries. If you are looking for a good price and you don't expect luxuries I recommend this hotel.

Excellent service, Mr. Antonio, the owner, is a very nice person and make you feel confortable at all times also tells you where to go and eat good food for low price. It is perfectly located in a very nice area where there are lots of restaurants and coffe shops and near everything you like to see in Rome. We will come back to this hotel when we return to Rome. Thanks Antonio "Banderas"

This was a very economical way to stay in Rome. Breakfast was across the street at a cafe. Coffee & pastry was very good. Owner Antonio was a good host, but the location was hard to find, but 10-15 minute walk from Termini terminal. Good location for walking to Villa Borghese & connecting to Metro line A. I would stay here again because it was a very good value for the money. No frills, basic room with bathroom down the hall.

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday in Rome. We needed just a place where we could sleep for one night and we didn't want to pay a fortune for one room where we wanted only to sleep. So, we found the place. The location of the hotel is excellent, taking into account that you pay 55 euros in two persons and you are 5 km far from Vatican (which, excepting the Rome surroundings, is the farest point of interest. The directions given on the website are not quite acurate, but the map is giving the correct location of the hotel. Just follow the instruction up to the point they indicated and after that follow the map. The personnel is nice. They provided us with two maps with no charge and they gave us good directions for getting our belly full without spending a fortune (which in Rome there is a big problem; just think that we found a place where we paid 10 euros for 2 coffees!). I hope I will return in Rome and I hope I will stay in the same place because it's the best place where you can stay for the price you pay. Try it and you will find out that you will have more money to spend on visiting Rome. ;) All the best to the Tizi's personnel!

Very disappointed in this Hotel, quite hard to find initially, receptionist not very friendly or helpful, no air conditioning in the room, shared bathroom was appalling, did not sleep a wink all night from the noise outside from the traffic, double glazing or even windows that close properly would be an idea??? Not impressed with this Hotel at all very disappointed as it looked quite nice and simple on the Website, for the rate quoted????
