The room was clean. It takes 1 1/2 hours to get there from the train station. Nothing to do other than walk. Only go there if you really going for quiet time and do nothing. The breakfast is not much..

This was by far the best value for money we have come across. Simone and Jo were excellent and surpassed our expectations. helpful advice, friendly and approachable. The hotel is located in a quite area perfect if you wish to escape the busy streets of Rome after a day sight seeing.

1€ e sei in centro.

Very nice hotel.Quite.Clean and free parking. In the north of Rome.Ideal for people traveling around Italy and who would like to stop in an very beautyfull place (medieval village with waterfalls).I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed two nights in this hotel with my wife. It was really perfect. Simone, the gerant, was very helpful, the surrondings of the hotel are beautiful. If I have to return to Rome, I'll stay without any hesitation in this hotel.

The dinner we had in the hotel was fine and reasonably priced. The breakfast, however, was rather poor in quality and quantity. It wouldn't take much effort, I believe, to improve it significantly (add fresh bread, orange juice, yoghurt).

In definitiva, vivamente consigliato!

A really great hotel especially considering the price for staying. We received a great welcome from Simone and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet suburb of Rome and the center of the city is 40 minutes away using transportation. Clean and spacy rooms, free parking, not very fancy hotel but who cares. If you are looking for luxurious vacations you wont find them there, but if you are looking for a warm welcome, beautiful garden , simple but spacy and clean rooms, nice breakfast all combined with great price its there. Totally recommended!!

Albergo carino, a conduzione familiare.

We did not anticipate the distance from Rome and negotiating train and buses, which turned out to be very regular, BUT we wanted to do trips to Rome and surrounds and the initial journey each day prevented us from further exploring , especially South of Rome. Having said this our host Simone was very obliging and the value and standard of the hotel such that we decided to stay despite the obstacles. We did though leave a day earlier than we booked and Simone was very gracious and did not charge us for the extra night, on another holiday, seeking relaxation and exploring North of Rome this hotel set in a very quaint and authentic village would have been just the place to go, Thankyou Simone.

The good thing about the place is a location - if you travel by car. On weekend it took us around 30 minutes to get to the very center of Rome. Otherwise, the place is not good. It was probably a very nice location until recently, but now it is divided between two brothers which do not seem cooperating very well. No big problems, but a lot of minor things here and there, like the balcony door which is hard to close, TV channel, which does not work, etc. The breakfast was the most "economy" version I ever saw. Overall I would say that the price was not adequate to the service.

Our visit was quite enjoyable. simone, the manager, was kind, helpful, spoke english well and responsive to our requests. meals at the restaurant were elegantly served, surroundings spacious, the room was clean, bathroom very modern// great bathtub! Nice setting! I would recommend this place more so for travelers with a car. It is a bus and train ride to downtown; although the bus picks up and drops off in front of the hotel, getting back at night was challenging.

This was an ideal location for us on our Italian road trip because it’s on the outskirts of Rome which meant I didn’t have to drive into town (huge relief). The other plus was the bus stop just in front of the hotel so we didn’t have to drive during our stay. It was about a 45-60 minute trip to down town Rome but after picking up the Roma Pass it was all free. The rooms are average size and clean.

It was really far from the actual city of Rome. From the Rome (Ciampino) (CIA) airport you have to take a 40 min. bus to the end of the metro station then a 30 min. metro then a 20 min. train then a 20 min. bus. From the city center it is about an hour away. From the hotel- bus to train to metro. Despise the distence the staff was really nice and the general enviroment of the hotel was great. Great view, it is a nice cheap place if you want to be alone and see the country side of Rome

Servizio accoglienza tipico romano, simpatico, colazione buona e ben servita...

The location is quiet, about 5 km behind the ring road. It was not very easy to find it by car. First: the roadmap tells you "exit 3", but on the ring road the exit number was missing on the road sign, so we simply missed the exit. Next: when you exit the ring road, there is a couple of not obvious crossroads. I was lucky to find the local guy and ask, but the GPS navigator will be very helpful. It you travel by bus, - the bus stops next to the hotel door. In the morning, it took us about 30 mins to get from the hotel to the city center by car (there is some traffic in Rome :)). We arrived on Wednesday 9:30 pm and the reception was closed, so we needed to call the mobile number and someone came to give us the keys (they explained it happens only on Wednesdays, when their restaurant is closed). Now the good things began: rooms were clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is standard, but you can have the roasted eggs and bacon and ham for the extra EUR 5. The location is very cute and gives you some extra local experience. Driving in Rome w/o GPS was a REAL adventure, so we were happy that our hotel was near the ring road: we were able to JUST EXIT SOMEWHERE from the city to the ring and then find our exit quite easily. No jokes. The overall impression is positive, the price/quality ratio is good.

The management of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast-bufett is excellent. The rooms are not big, but okay, and clean. It´s necessary to know, that Isola Farnese is a very small village. There are no shops to buy drinks and food or something else. The hotel has an own (in our view: expensive) restaurant, which is closed on wednesday. Another restaurant is to reach by feet. Supermarkets, kiosks, restaurants and bars are in La Storta, the next town. You can reach La Storta and the train to roma with a small public bus, which starts every 20 Minutes directly in front of the hotel, but it is better to have your own car. Then the hotel is the best starting point to visit roma and the nice surrounding of this big city.

This is a gem of a place: it is in a beautiful setting, the owners are delightful, and the food was astounding. The breakfast buffet, included in the price, is outstanding and the restaurant's food was amazing. It provides a true Italian experience untainted by commercial tourism.
