Hotel St. George - Rome

Very nice hotel in the centre of rome. The hotel is quiet, very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel St George and highly recommend it as a comfortable and stylish accomodation in the centre of Rome. The breakfast was fabulous with attentive service. The hotel is well located,Piazza Navona is five minutes away. We found the front desk staff very helpful, they recommended some nice restaurants nearby.

Dissapointed with this hotel. It was spotlesssley clean and we liked the chic interior, however our room was just ok, nothing special for a 5 star hotel. Bathroom was tiny. Facilities are not always available - both the Spa & Rooftop bar are closed on certain days. The rooftop bar is certainly a pleasant spot to enjoy a drink but the ridiculous drink prices (1 cocktail 22 euro's) make it too expensive to enjoy. This hotel did not offer the services or personal touch we would expect of a 5 star property.

Rooms were excellent - well furnished and comfortable. Room service was prohibitively expensive. Bar staff were capable and welcoming, though the scarcity of other patrons did not make it particularly inviting. Never saw anyone eating in the restaurant and, having perused the expensive and unimaginative menu, did not feel particularly disposed towards attending it myself. Could only book the spa at least a few days in advance - would like to have been able to book something that day or the next.

Really poor service for a 5 stars hotel

This was one of our best experiences in Rome by far. The hotel was in the most convenient location in Rome, we essentially walked to all of the sights and places of interest. The staff was extremely polite and cordial, the rooms simply excellent. If you don't stay at the St. George on your next trip to Rome, its won't be worth it.

Staff did not follow thru properly with making dinner reservations as we had requested.

Great location & fantastic rooms however it is very expensive.

Service at the lounge slow. Room service (breakfast) poor. All the rest OK!

Most of the services provided is very good. The only think I would advise is the quailty of room services, the price of it, the menu choices and the staff. There is a need to more food choices and the staff need to speak english to they can understand the customer requirments.

For a five stars hotel the rooms on the street side are badly soundproofed. The breakfast is not what you could expect from a five stars hotel.

I'm sure that we return to Rome I'll return to St. George.

Nice and clean but extremely small and the Hotel staff needs a bit of polishing especially for a 5star establishment. I expected a bit more for the amount of money I paid to stay there.

Our two-night stay at the St. George Hotel was a most memorable experience. If you want to be in a perfect location for seeing the sights of Rome, there is no better place to stay. The hotel is just beautiful - the rooms, the lobby, the restaurant, the spa - just simply lovely.
