The hotel is perfect if you need to catch an early bus to the airport. The hotel is literally 5mins walk from Termini Station. It is easy to reach the main attractions by foot (of course if you are willing to walk all day). There are a few places to eat around the hotel but I wouldn't recommend either one... The couple that owns and runs the hotel are nice and cheerful all the time, but they hardly speak any English. It is good that I had installed GoogleTranslate on my phone - it is quite useful for a asking few questions ;). The easiest way to find the hotel is to look for the MarcoPolo signs. The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building which host a couple other hotels. The restaurant downstairs is noisy, especially if you room overlooks the internal part of the building. Even though the hotel is rated as one star, it has all the amenities you would find in a 3* one: mini-fridge, safe, TV, AirCon, WiFi, hairdrier, double bed. The Bathroom was a little dodgy, but hey, at least it wasn't shared.

This was the second time I have stayed. The couple that own and run it are very welcoming. They speak very little English which only adds to this typical italian hotel. It has more of a guest house feel which is a little more intimate and friendly, but definitely not posh. The location is perfect (200m from Termini). Very enjoyable stay.

The location was great (near Termini Station), the lady of the house very friendly and always ready to help (only spoke italian, though). It wasn't quite as quiet a place as expected, the rooms faced the inner court and you would hear the noise of the restaurant staff down below and smell the fried oil... and one night there was loud music during the whole night (not sure if it was a night club or what). Other than that it was good!

The hotel is typical B&B style (though we do not have breakfast here). The hotel seems to be managed by owner and his wife, and they are so warm and good hospitality. But they do not speak English very well. The reception is closed from 9pm to 8am, so be careful if you arrive at late night or depart at early morning. Hot water in the bathroom becomes colder if you continue to use hot water, and the shower drain gets clogged. No internet connection available but you can buy it from the downstairs hotel, Marco Porlo: 2Euro @ 1 hour. You may find the better hotel around here in similar rate.

The Hotel is one block from the Rome Termini Station which is extermely convienent for travelers that arrive late or leave early through the station. The Hotel Sileo is on the 4th floor of a building the has other hotels occupying the other floors. The Family that runs the hotel is absoultely great and welcoming. They are the nicest people and them alone make me want to stay at the hotel again. The elevator geeting to the floor was a bit suspect but once there the hotel was very quaint and comforting. The room was clean and spacious as was the attached bath room. There is some noise from the street during the evening but it is Rome, that is to be expected. I would reccomend the hotel to anyone that needs a well priced comfortable hotel near the train station.

Excellent location to train station which can be a real positive thing for people travelling by train. Our Host had limited English but his daughter speaks English - also they are very willing to help you out with whatever you need to see, know, etc. The one drawback for some people might be the fact it is on the 4th floor of a building but there is a "lift". Bathrooms are small and showers very small.

Alessandro, Maria and Anna were welcoming, helpful hosts. Their fourth floor auberge, in a building with three other hotels, was clean and our room large with an adjoing hall to our large bathroom. The double paned and shuttered window allowed us to block the noise from a restaurant backing the courtyard below. (we also always take earplugs with us) A surprise breakfast of capuccinos, rolls and jam was helpful as was the location--two block from the Termini station where we started our days by bus or Metro and ended our trip with a train to the port. Restaurants in the area and food stores and takeout available at the station. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The Room is just over a restaurant, so quite noisy and smelly. The room and furnitures are old, especially the bathroom, which was not well cleaned. The location was pretty good though, but there are plenty of hotels around for you to chose and even in the same building, there are 2 more hotels on the 2 other levels which look pretty much better. One good thing is that the hotel looks quite safe. But, don't expect to get a lot of informations from the desk, because they don't speak much english. I surely won't go back so, I don't recommand you to go neither!

Belle and Dave. What a great little hotel, close to the Termini, nice area, clean rooms and great staff, so keen to help with limited English. If you want a hi pressure consistent temperature shower, stay at home. Its not the hotel its just the plumbing in Italy. They stored our bags for a week while we went off to Venice and were really wonderful people. I will stay there again.

Location is as good as I expected. Just 5 minutes by a walk from Termini station. But, shower room is too small to enjoy it fully. No breakfast included. Left luggage services is provided. Anyway its a good experience to use the peculiar elevator(two person only) to reach the hotel(4th floor).

Location of the hotel is very convenient, near all means of transport. The staff is very pleasant and ready to help. The rooms are spacious but need to be repaired and cleaned better. But in general is a rather good place to stay(considering price and quality)

This was an excellent choice for my daughter (11yrs) and I to access the train at Termini which was barely 10 minutes walk from the room on the 4th floor to the station. Made life in Rome catching the train and getting the metro and buses much easier. Hotel is situated in a quiet back street with an international phone booth opposite the ground floor door and some pizzarias nearby. I would definitely stay again, if i could afford the flight back to Rome from New Zealand.

I'd say Sileo was a good B&B to stay in. The owners were really nice and friendly. The location is excellent-3-min walk to metro and train station. We would stay in there again.

Alessandro and Marie made us so welcome beds were nice and clean, room on the dark side but our lighting is much brighter. Cleanliness needed a spring clean.
