The facilities were great and the staff were wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected and were offered breakfast and somewhere to wait. We only stayed one day but wished we were staying longer. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

although a little hard to find for somebody in the area for the fist time, once there, everything at hotel Selva Candida delivered as promised. Rooms were spacious and tidy. The people at reception were welcoming and helpful. The hotel grounds also well kept, with ample space for parking ( free of charge). Would definetly stay there again.

The staff in general were very accommodating to our needs and wishes. The hotel surroundings were a bit different than expected. Lots of construction in the area. However, the hotel itself was very inviting.

Wonderful place to stay near airport with parking area. We left the next day for travels to southern Italy. Reception gave us a great restaurant suggestion at a local place. Wish we had stayed longer!

Was easy to find on public transport - with directions from tourist information. Only 18 stops on the 904 from Cornelia bus station, right by the underground station. When we got there we were greeted very warmly and all the staff were very caring and happy to have us. We were only there for three nights but there were no problems and it was a very enjoyable stay.

Very good place to stay. We definitelly recommend it. The only problem lies in that there was a big difficulty visiting anything outside the hotel if you don't have a personal transport (a rent car perhaps). Unfortunatelly the Italian busses are as bad as the Greek ones and the traffic is dense most of the times. It took as some time to reach the hotel due to the need to decypher the bus stops. If it is your first time in Italy and you are planning in using the public transports STUDY how they define their buss stops (imagine 7 bus stops with the same name!!!). Other than that, the hotel is great, the food in the morning is good (but you have to hurry otherwise there will be nothing left to eat), the enviroment (most of it) outside is great, the waitors like to teach false Italian (bona sera does not mean good morning),etc. Recomended.

We stayed only one night out of the three that we were booked! If you are going to Rome to tour the sites DO NOT STAY HERE! It is very far from the city centre - not at all as described in books or other sites. From the Termini it is the second to last stop on the line and then another 30 minute bus ride. Add on the wait times and it is well over an hour. The room was okay, breakfast mediocre, and we thought we would stick it out until waited for the bus for 40 minutes to get into Rome center. We decided to pack our bags and find another hotel. We only had two full days in Rome and weren't going to waste 4 or more hours a day on or waiting for public transit. Traffic is terrible in this area and you stand on a road with a speed limit posted at 80 km and no footpath - basically pushing yourself into the hedges to avoid being hit by cars. The hotel staff was not sympathetic at all to our concerns and charged us for the two nights we did not stay there.

Advice: Public transportation is feasible but long and crowdy bus for this destination. However, it is worthwhile to go through this trouble because the hotel is more like a 5 stars. Would go back any time. Breakfast superb, room with bath and all new amenities. Everything was fantastic and a cheap but very nice Pizzeria restaurant closeby (7 minutes walk) nicely decorated. However, you have to eat pizza the rest of the menu is a little expensive. A grocery store is very convenience just across the street from the Hotel.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel. The staff were great, and our week stay was wonderful. It was easy to get to the metro and all around the city and it was excellent value for the money. We would highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed in the upper level of a 2 storied building that had 4 units on our floor. Requested 2 single beds instead of a double for 2 ladies travelling together and were accomodated. Staff were helpful, hospitable and fun...not too stuffy :) They arranged reasonably priced private transportation when needed. Bus and Metro ride to Rome(Termini station) was easy to navigate and took about 30-40 minutes. Beautiful resting gardens in the front of the hotel. Good complementary breakfasts with fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, pastries, coffee, juice, tea or cappachino. Would definately stay again...in fact, we are planning on it! A great place to retreat to after a busy day/evening in Rome. Love hearing the birds chirping in the morning!!

This is a fantastic hotel. It is located half an hour from the city by public transport, which starts at the door of Hotel Selva Candida. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!! However, when driving to the hotel, be careful with the directions given on the internet as they need to be more clear.

A very nice hotel which we had some difficulty finding by car from the directions given. The room and facilities were excellent aqnd the staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was a treat. The bus outside the hotel gives an easy ride to the metro and from there to the centre of Rome. We stayed two very enjoyable nights here and hope to return one day.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and spacious. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Far from the city but the links are very good, bus and metro 1Euro/1 way... cheap and convenient. No laundry facilities. The guy at the front desk wasn't very helpful when we asked about sightseeing. He wasn't able to recommend us any tours in Rome.

Very nice stay in good 3 stars hotel outside the centre of Rome. The price is remarkable low for the quality that is delivered. Very nice rooms, friendly english speaking staff and nice looking location. Breakfast was much better then expected since somebody complained about just biscuites, there was a good breakfast buffet, just no fruits but the rest was ok, and if you like fruits in the morning, there is a small supermarket just across the road). It takes 20 minutes by bus to the nearby metro station, and with a 1 euro ticket you could travel all the way up to the heart of Rome. The first day we drove to the city itself and found a parkingplace for 2 euros for 12 hours, just on a 10 minutes walk from the vatican. Wireless internet available in the hotel, great garden, really nice place would go back any time. If you go there and are looking for a good restaurant check out the Porto Bello restaurant, just one minute away by car from the hotel (go right exiting the front gate), great Italian food and very friendly place.

I LOVE this hotel very much, if i go to ROMA next year i will book it again. It is not in the city centre, but quiet and easy to find. Maybe 10 mins by bus you can find a metro station and go to every place you want. The persons in hotel are very kind and nice, they give us a lot of help and great memory in ROMA.

we got the room by internet at 49 euros breakfast included. Excellent place, very nice hotel, quite, large parking controlled by cam's. Just a bit difficult to find it , not really well indicated on the road, acces neither. this is to improve becasuse hotel is really good. Not so far from Rome niether by the ring. If you want to go out of the hotel for a restaurant don't do it walking, road is not confortable for pedestrians and they are so far. Small pizzeria on the right of the road is very cheap and nice.
