Nice Hotel. No Complaints. Right off the Bologna train stop in a nice neighborhood. As long as you are close to the Metro you are in good shape. This hotel was a good find.

The pros: - great location (nice neighbourood, adjacent to supermarket and close to metro stop) - free WiFi (it always worked and connection was fast) - more than adeguate free breakfast - with cold cuts, cereals, boiled eggs, yougurt, and delicious pastries - the room was very clean. Nice bathrooms with lots of towels. - minibar fridge in the room allowed us to keep food/drink we purchases at the supermarket cold The cons: - quite a few stairs to reach the elevator (my suitcase was quite heavy and this was a bit inconvenient) - room was small (like most rooms in Rome) - our double bed was actually 2 twin beds put together - not very comfortable All in all i would stay in this hotel again. The reservation through venere was very smooth, no issues with credit card and price quoted.

We enjoyed the convenience of the location. Very close to the Metro. Quaint hotel with helpful staff. Some stairs to get to the elevator, so visitors not able to do a flight of stairs may want to take note.

Good location, next to the metro, supermarket and fast food. This is important as general stores are not at all easy to find in the central Rome. Food and goods are far cheaper in the hotel area than the city. Good breakfast. Very small rooms. Had to keep the balcony door shut at night to block the noise from traffic and AC outer unit. General equipment not that well maintained (door handles, AC etc) but nothing disastrous. Most services are as quoted. Usually helpful and kind staff. We were allowed to leave the bags in the hotel between our flight and the checkout. Had problems with payment by Visa as the hotel didn't first release the reserved amount (so it appeared as if I didn't have enough money even though I did).

Nice hotel with competent staff speaking fluently English that is very comfortable. Really close to Bologne subway station. Though, some little inconvenients: the shower door was not waterproof, a window in the bathroom was broken and impossible to open and rooms are quite noisy (at the same time my neighbour was snoring). Good points: we needed to leave early at 7:AM and the hotel has prepared breakfast bags; breakfast is generally sufficient

QUITE WELL LOCATED NEAR THE METRO STATION, THE HOTEL IS SUITABLE FOR THOSE, WHO LOOKS FOR THE PLACE TO SLEEP IN ROME. THE ROOM WAS EQUIPPED WITH THE BATHROOM AND THE BREAKFAST WAS SUFFICIENT. IF YOU TRAVEL BY CAR YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT IT'S RATHER UNABLE TO FIND ANY PARKING PLACE NEAR THE HOTEL. THE RECEPTION WILL SUGGEST YOU TO LEAVE THE CAR IN THE GARAGE LOCATED SEVERAL METERS FAR FROM THE HOTEL, BUT THE PRICE [DISCOUNTED FOR THE HOTEL GUESTS, AS I WAS TOLD] WAS 25EURO/NIGHT.

Bright sides: clean, very close to tube station, not expensive. Dark sides: no drinking or cooking services in the evening or night-time, narrow room, no lift between ground floor and first floor.

There was no problem with the reservation from venere.First the good points, the location is close to a metro hence easy to reach the city. The room quality is good and the place definitely seemed to be safe enough. Now for the bad ones. This hotel definitely serves the worst breakfast on earth. No bread and no plain croissant. You have to make do with sweet pastries. And its the same spread everyday. The favourite word among the staff is "NO".No matter whatever you ask for. They could not even give bottled water at night. The linen is never changed even if you have a long stay. They quoted 69 euros for a vatican tour that we did at 35 from the station. And also 70 euros for an airport drop which I directy booked and paid 52 for. They are out to fleece. The counter staff are very annoying.Especially an old man who behaves as though he is the guest.Only the cleaners seemed to be ok.For internet you need to buy a net card but their comp never works. When it does it is at snails pace. These fellows need to be sent to India to learn hospitality management. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Tips:1.A chinese restaurant called dragon... which is at walking distance serves good cheap food. 2.A supermarket adjoins the hotel. 3.You can get sim recharge in a shop just outside. 4.

Camera rumorossima e colazione insoddisfacente..Sconsiglio altamente!!

The hotel is good value for money and very close to a metro station. We have chosen the hotel for this reason and we didn't had any reason to regret the choice. Only one minus: the description of how to get to hotel from the metro station should be revised. It is one minute away, but we needed 15min till we could find it.

Excellent location, next to Piazza Bologna subway station, only two stops to Termini Central station. In few minutes you can reach the best places of Rome by subway but also near the hotel there are Supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. all you can need when you be back in the hotel after a day of visiting the city. It is the right option to stay in Rome when you want to enjoy all attractions in the city without spend too much money and keeping an excellent relation between value and price. The bad issue is the the elevator. You can take it just at the first floor so you shall have enough energy to go one floor upstairs with all you baggages. We had a very nice days in Rome so it is for sure that we will come back tho the city and also to this hotel

The advantages of the hotel are: being really close to Bologna (metro B) station and the supermarket in the same building. Disadvantages are: low breakfast quality, the elevator starts only from 1st floor and poor room cleaning. It was also the only hotel in our 2 weeks trip to Italy that asked for full payment at check-in time. Maybe they were afraid we'll leave once we discover that we have a broken shower in the room and a dirty toilet (+ a tampon envelope).

Receptionn staff were excellent, I only asked for the key once (in Italian) and after that the guy remembered us. One thing to take account of is the lift / elevator is situated one floor up so there's a flight of stairs to negotiate before you get to it. Apart from that, the San Giusto is a perfectly adequate hotel with easy access to the Rome Metro's B line and therefore easy access to any of the main "attractions".

First night we had no toilet paper in the bathroom. Then we changed the room because the shower didn't work well. Second night there were no blankets in the wardrobe. The breakfast was quite bad: There was no "Müsli", eggs were cooked for such a long time that they got a blue colour. One day we had rotten oranges on the buffet! Coffee often became cold because they put it on the tables before the guests came in. The room service didn´'t empty the wastebasket regularely and didn´t fill up the plastic cups so we had to use one cup several times for the mini bar.

The hotel is much further than advertised. The taxi at the airport did not want to go there unless I pay for their return. The restraunt had menu only in Italian and there were only 3 choices of starters and main dishes. The waiter did not speak a single word of English. The whole hotel did not have an iron and they were VERY surprised when I asked for one. Given all the trouble, I do not think the hotel is worth its rating.

The staff were very helpful and professional. The location is even better than is indicated in the written description--just around the corner from the "Piazza Bologna" Metro station (nice to not have to fight the infamous Rome traffic at ground level). The room was extremely small, and the mattresses were a little tired--they should be replaced. Other than that, with a larger room, I would happily stay at the San Giusto on my next trip.

Good value, but it took forever to get to my room and I was on the first floor. A huge staircase to get to the first floor. Then up and down stairs several times to get to my room. Also, bathroom was modern but pieces were missing in the walls and mold in the shower. I also did not appreciate the religous picture on the wall.
