Nice hotel, the only problem is public transport at night. We wanted to go to rome city to have a glass but the bus never came, we gave up after 30min and went back to the hotel.

this hotel is really unfriendly.... the hotel surroundings are terrified.... 1h30 to go in the center of Rome... bus are always late... it's better to be in the hotel before the night.... even with "stranges sounds"....

Hotel is in an industrial area miles out of town. Only concession for guests is a morning shuttle to the nearest Metro. Area becomes a "hooker zone" at night. I wouldn't stay there again even if it was the last hotel on earth.

Hotel is excellent value for money, in fact it can not be beaten fr quality. Location is terrible, long journey to Rome centre but this is balanced out with cost. My choice so I can't complain

The location of this hotel, on a busy main road and in the middle of absolutely nowhere, combined with the fact that it takes an hour and two modes of public transport to access the centre of Rome should put anyone off staying here.

Good cheap hotel if you are motorized. The hotel is a bit too far from the metro (30 min by bus), very basic and not so calm as announced. The restaurant is very good, but it is a pension and is closed on Sundays and there is no other in the vicinity. The bus service is low and some of the scheduled buses fail (2 of 10).

Excellent hotel to relax after tiring excursions to tourist attractions every day. Very good connectivity to city centre and tourist attractions. If you catch bus 135 and reach Tiburtino FS, you can go to Colosseum, Vatican etc. by metro. Get 1 Euro ticket for bus and metro at the hotel itself. Hotel provides all necessary info like timings of bus 135, detailed maps etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice and quiet hotel, about 11 km from centrum. 50 m from hotel bus stop 135 to Tiburtina metro station. Convenient for tourist by car from north. Prices are without parking (5 €/night) and with italian breakfast (coffe and croissant). American breakfast costs 10 € per day and is quite good. Instead of 157 € for 3 nights it costs 202 € but still worth.

The base price published on internet is very good, but after your arrival you pay everything: outdoor parking (5 Euro), WiFi (5 Euro), the restaurant was closed, you are far from every other restaurant and you must pay 5 Euro for the shuttle transporting you to an expensive restaurant far from the hotel. Finally, the world record for a coffee standing up at the bar: 1,70 Euro! Incredible and frustrating.

Super value for money.Experience and staff kindness at his best. The Hotel is not perhaps situateted in an idillyc spot but its extremeley well connected and easy to reach by car from Rome Fiumicino airport and main Rome's highways.Bus stop right around the corner(route 135),change over after few stops at Largo Somalia or Stazione Tiburtina where there are 3 bus routes( 92,630 & 63) to take you right in the very heart of Rome, all in about 40 minutes. There are also two train stations not too far away,Fidene & Nuovo Salario.Train straight from Fiumicino's airport at around 8 E single trip.Once reached the station got to get the bus to the hotel, and this could be a bit confusing if you dont speak the lingo, but nevertheless easy to reach straight from the airport. There are also two good restaurants nearby located.La Pampa( 2 bus stops away on the route 135 from the hotel, and Pappa Reale nearby Fidene station where you can enjoy good pizza or regional dishes at around 25 E each. Hotel rooms cleaned daily, bar opened until 11 pm.If I really would have to add something that I could have done with is a coffeee kettle, tea and nescafé bags in the room, pen, writing paper,Rome's brochures. These are really very minor faults considering the overall quality/price hotel performance. Strongly reccomended expecially if going to the Olympic Village for a Rugby or Football match,as its extremely well situated for these events.

The breakfast was very good. The only disadvantage was the distance to the city, but the hotel had a shuttle-bus to the next Metro-station several times a day. We stayed only three days in Rome.

Romulus Hotel is located far from the city center, much further than it is indicated on the map. But in reality it's quite easy to get there even if you don't have a car. Service is quite good and staff is very friendly. I'm absolutely sure i'll stay there next time.

The map is completely off, it is really VERY far from the centre. The hotel is essentially in the middle of nowhere on a highway that at night is full of prostitutes. Do not stay here if you do not have a car. They do have a shuttle bus service and free internet.
