Excellent relationship price/quality (low price, spacious room). Great services from employees (they provide me informations about food shop, and no problem to book a taxi). I stood one night because I had to do in Parioli district, and it was the good choice. Negative points: a little bit old (but you are in Italy), and a little bit far from the centre of Roma (but the area is nice).

This is a false 4 stars hotel

The hotel is near the metro (rail station) and is easy to access;the surrounding area is nice. However, we were quite disappointed. The room was definitely not what you expect for 4-stars hotel (small room, broken mirrors etc.) and very noisy! The breakfast was poor and some of the yogurts were not fresh (outdated).

it was nice hotel for the price I paid 20 minutes by public bus to the center ,Termini

I can absolutely recommend this Hotel. It's surprisingly cheap given respect to the fact that it really deserves its four stars. Location is great - line 910 leaves right in front of the main entrance, trains leaving Euclide station can be felt during breakfast (don't be afraid, not in a negative sense). I would definitely return, the hotel is in a nice neighbourhood close to the beautiful Auditorium.

Room in rather poor condition (bathroom door etc.) Weekend rate too expensive regarding the service provided.

Very good quality for an actually cheap (good buffet breakfast included) accomodation in the centre of Rome. I stayed only one night for business, but the hotel seems to give a real three-four star service in a quite old (but clean and confortable) structure, so the low fares.

This hotel is good if you KNOW the area, if you dont mind taking public transportation and if you DONT have a rental car. It is outside of the Center and not very convenient for a tourist. You can walk to the Center, but it is a hike. I lived in Rome and know well the area and where to park my car and how. Otherwise, I would not rec this hotel for a tourist, unless you get the price we got (euro 70). It is otherwise a good place, I love the area, and the service was good. The rooms are clean and of a good quality, the breakfast typical. There are a few great boutiques in the area. The subway is very close and the bus is less than a block away. Safe area - very few gypsies.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times and it's a good hotel for the price. You also get breakfast everyday, which is good. I recommend this hotel as it's a prime location closed to everything. SB USA-New York

I got a room on last floor. In this room there is a continuos noise, of the air condition engine. It was running all the time, even the night. When i went to pay and i complained that the employer say me: oh...ok...maybe could be the air conditioner engine!!And not more!! So...choose another!!!

Did not even have a single chair in the room or any desk whatsoever! Shower water temperature kept changing from too hot to freezing by itself. Windows did not close properly, in need of repair. Deninitely NOT a 4 star hotel as far as room quality is concerned. Public areas OK. I would only stay in this hotel again as a last resort since I travel on business to this area.

The map on the website does not reflect that Via Civinini (where the hotel is located) is not directly connected to Via Bruno Buozzi. This is quite misleading! If you are planning to walk or take public transport, I highly recommend Google-mapping the location it is much clearer and may save you a while walking around trying to find the hotel! The Hotel itself is spot on. A nice clean room, good breakfast and all round good service from the staff. I would definitely recommend it.

We had some problems in the bathroom. First, the light was not working properly and we had to call the staff twice to solve the problem. Then we discovered the hair dryer was broken. we had to call the staff four times and they couldn't solve the problem. They said they were going to fix, then changing our room, but no one fixed the problem. In the end we complained with the manager and he gave us a discount. But staying in Rome for 3 days, walking all the day and not washing the hair, it's not nice.

Also alles in allem waren wir zufrieden!

There were some good restaurants around, the only one problem was the transport communication between this zone and the centre of the city.

The Regent in Rome is very comfortable and spacious and the staff were friendly to my traveling companions and myself. There is not much of interest around the hotel and you have to take the bus and metro to get to the train station or to the historic part of Rome, but the hotel was quiet and safe. The breakfast included was excellent.

On the morning of 25th of this month, after the breakfast at the hotel, we were hurried to reach the airport, so the time was not enough to us. At the reception table, we were going to check out. The waiter Fabio told us we should paid 520 Euro totally. But in fact the rate of booking sheet on the net (www.venere.com) is 510 Euro. He looked panic and suspicious. He explained to us 10 Euro was the tax we should pay to the company(www.venere.com), but we said we had booked four hotels in Italy at the same web site charging the same money to the booking sheet. After that he changed another excuse. He said the breakfast in the hotel should be charged. Obviously, the excuse cannot come into existence. The rate of breakfast including in the room rate. At last, he changed the excuse about the mini bar in our room. He asked us whether or not we use the mini bar. We didn’t drink anything of the bar. He asked us twice about it. After received the negative answer, he gave others two calls and seemed panic, and gave us a paper about confirming of we did not eat anything. He said he made a mistake about it, but we must sign our names and write down a few words about we did not eat anything of the mini bar. We felt he humiliated us. After a few minutes, he gave back 10 Euro to us. We felt angry and discontented about his service. He wasted us a lot of precious time, we had to hurried to the airport by taxi and cost much money.

Great hotel, it needs some works but it meets the standards of 4 stars city hotels. Very good breakfast buffet.

booked through venere.com and got a single on 8th floor for only $90US where friends who used other internet service paid $240 for double room. Comfortable, classy and in quiet neighborhood, ther'es no much in immediate neighborhood and you'd defintely need a taxi to get to town or back...so it's a distance. EXCELLENT breakfast buffet and there are a few sidewalk restaurants in neigborhood around the corner. Taking a shared limo from the airport for $80US, I was more interested in a post-jet-lag nap and getting to the hotel quicker than taking the train. Looking back, it was worth the limo ride. I wouldn't want to lug my luggage on the train. Great for Groups ande pre-cruisers....BUT not close to the city center.

Hi fellow travellers. THIS MESS IS A LITTLE LONGER THAN MOST BUT PLEASE READ ON. Please stay at this hotel I found it clean and tidy and our room was large enough to be comfortable during our 5 night stay. My Husband booked the hotel without my consent and I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. However thank goodness we chose to stay here fantastic for the price and well worth a return visit. Great little bar nearby called carrot tops very good. We stayed during the taxi strike and found it was fine there is a metro train staion right nearby like 5 sec walk and bus no 9 outside hotel will take you every fifteen mins where ever you need to go. Brilliant!!!!!!

- Very unfriendly and uncomptent poeples at the reception. - Breakfast is OK but the juices quality is poor. You have to ask for coffee service - nobody would come automaticly. - Internet connection facilities avalable, but too expensive. over a 100 EUROS for about 20 min.

This Hotel is very bad! It isn't a 4 stars Hotel at all. There wasn't normal condition, the air in the room is very bad, the service in the room isn't carefull and attention.I had to leave the hotel very soon, because I couldn't stay there. The servants of the hotel didn't turn back to me the forgotten things.I was very upset!
