This is a very nice hotel for the price. Our room was very quiet (on the inner court yard), which is great in a city like Rome. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices and everything was fresh. It was just a short walk to the major sights in the north part of the city and to the Metro at Repubblica. The best aspect was the staff: they were all terrific, very helpful with restaurant advice, reservations and the like, and always very friendly and willing to help--or even make a coffee in the lounge. They really made the experience great.I would highly recommend the Ranieri.

The Hotel was located in a very handy area. The staff were excellent and always willing to help. We were a family of four and found the room very small. It would certainly suit a couple or even a couple with 1 child but too small for 3 adults and a child. Housekeeping did a great job with cleaning the room each day.

Even though an employee at Venere somehow stole my credit card info and charged $500, the hotel was great. The hotel employees are helpful and understand English. The breakfast in the morning was excellent (especially the coffee). It is near both the Replubicca and Termini station. Lots of restaraunts and shops are nearby. I would stay hear again.

I have to say that the staffs on the front desk were the most helpful and kindness. The multilingual staffs provides a high standard of personalized service. Some of them can speak Japanese a little. We Japanese feel secure. The room is clean, and security is the best. A little minus is the breakfast is a little poor?? But we recommend this hotel for our friends. When we go to Rome ,we want to stay this hotel again.(Rome is fantastic)

The Ranieri is clean and comfortable. I can't say I found it to be value for money but that could be because of the premium you have to pay for a central location in Rome. I found that in Florence, by paying a little more, I got tremendous more value at the Bernini Palace. The Ranieri has small but modern bathrooms in each room but I would have to describe the overall renovation as unfortunate. They've carved up what were once gracious old rooms, installed broadloom and made the rooms as bland and motel-like as possible. However, I have to say that the staff on the front desk was the most helpful and professional of all those I encountered in Italy.

A quaint hotel, rather unimposing and full of interesting facilities, such as an antique elevator which ofren did not work. Otherwise the service was good and the atmosphere cozy.
