When we arrived in hotel , the man of reception gave us a room which was room for one night stand ( just for little time, not to stay) it was dirty, the blanket had a hole from cigarette and everything there were dirty, the bathroom, the tapet, the fridge was destroyed and was smelling.everything.when we demanded to change room because we did not like it the receptionist told us to tell the morning to the other receptionist lies, that the room is not quiet and has lot of voice. Also he told us that if we tell the truth tha the room is dirty, the receptionist will not change it. We were very nervous and we liked to go to an other hotel but we terrified not to charge twice for a room. The other morning we told to receptionist to give us an other room because it was not quiet and he gave us an other room to the third floor.this room was very good and very clean. The breakfast was very poor but good.

Great hotel. We planned on spending one night and then travel to Amalfi coast, but we realy loved the place, service and location so we went back there for another night. I will definitely come back there. Great location and service, clean rooms. You certainly get what you paid for and more.

Very good establishment : clean, comfortable, well located. Room on the street a bit noisy but quieter ones available on the inside. Personnel helpful, competent, diligent and bilingual (or multilingual). Small elevator for upper floors. Good variety and quality for breakfasts. We recommend Hotel Priscilla warmly!

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very spacious ( for a 3 star hotel in Europe).Breakfast is OK - buffet style continental with cappuchinos that the waiters prepare at your order. Very friendly and English-speaking staff, elevator and great rooms and bathrooms. Close to Via Veneto , plenty of buses to the center, plenty of bars/restaurants around. Would come back, definitely. Ask for a room as high as possible - the street traffic is a bit noisy,as everywhere in Rome.

We arrived earlier than expected (about 0930), and I assumed we would have to drop off our bags and do some jet-lagged touring of the city, but the front desk said our room was ready so we moved in and showered. The third bed was not in the room when we arrived but when I mentioned it to the front desk they said we would have by the evening (and we did). The staff, both front desk, and the equally important cleaning ladies and buffet attendants, were cordial throughout our stay and readily responded to requests for information or assistance. The beds had clean linen and sheets, the bathroom had clean, and ample, towels of all sizes. After each day of exploring Rome we would return to our room and find it completely cleaned, with beds remade, and bathroom restocked. Kudos to those fantastic ladies. The buffet was unimaginative but filling with ample cereal, breads, cheese, jams, etc. The surrounding area was quiet, but vibrant, with local Italians enjoying the numerous and highly enjoyable restaurants in the area, including the new restaurant just ten steps from the hotel that had the nicest, most accommodating personnel I have ever encountered in any restaurant. Great food at a great price. The only downside to our stay would be the general appearance of our room. While being very clean, it could use a fresh coat of paint and maybe some new desks and/or nightstands. I am a former resident of Rome and, now, a frequent visitor, and I found this hotel to be very satisfactory.

Our first night in Hotel Priscilla was good. Room was what I expected for the price of €110.00 per nightfor Rome. We were on the ground floor so the 2nd night was extremley noisy from a lively pub down the road. We requested a room change the next morning, with no hassles at all. Our new room was on the 2nd floor which was so much nicer and quiter than the previous one. Breakfast was ok. I would suggest ordering a coffee from the waitress as this was so much better than what was on offer at the buffet table. Overall my stay at this hotel was plesant and location was fantastic.I would return.

The photographs on the web site looked bright and airy. They lied! You don't want to be suicidal when you check into one of the Priscilla's rooms, it will push you over the edge! The only bright spot was the shower, which had plenty of hot water. This is a truly terrible hotel.

Rooms are comfortable but very poor breakfast. And bad recollection of the first night.we had to stay in a very noisy apartment without air cond for the first night instead of our 2 rooms and had the surprise to discover in the mid of the night that we had to share the apartment with somebody and of course the reception didn't give us this information. the director was never here during our stay ( 4 nights) .

It was my fifth stay at Rome but my first time at this hotel and I have been very content. Though not situated in the center of Rome, it is possible to get there by bus within a quarter of an hour day and night. Breakfast was simple, but good. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioned rooms were tidy and clean. It is worth its price and I can recommend it without restrictions.

The hotel itself was a very pleasant visit. Make sure you have a room on the back side of the hotel otherwise it can be very noisy until the early hours of the morning. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about their city. Hotel situated a little outside the main transit lines so it is a place for those who like to walk alot like we do.

The room was great. It was large, had air conditioning, and television. After walking around Rome all day it was a good place to come back to and rest. We liked the bar around the corner and it was in close proximity to a lot of the things we wanted to see. The breakfast was good at the hotel and they offered you plenty of food. We had not been to Rome before, but we would definitely like to come back.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel with the good standard of room. Located approx10 minutes walk from the train station and Spanish steps but quite a walk to other attractions such as the Vatican. Saying that, buses from the train station ran frequently. Would recommend if you are on a weekend break looking to take in the sights of Rome by foot!

For 70 Euro a night, we got a large room, double bed. Clean throughout, shower and bath. The hotel itself is located about 10 minutes walk from Via Veneto & The Spanish Wall. There is no bar in the hotel, no lounge area. The elevator is small (but most are in Rome). Overall, a happy experience, we were too busy exploring Rome to spend anytime in the hotel; it was merely a place to sleep. If you are looking for glamour, frills, and general WOW, you should check elsewhere. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep, thats quiet, safe, and fairly central, this is a good option.

We actually stayed in the Priscilla twice -- first for three nights and again, several days later, for one night. Our first room was very spacious and comfortable. The second room, while clean and quiet, was small and cramped and had a drainage problem in the bathroom. So my numerical ratings reflect a weighted average of our two somewhat different room experiences. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Among other things, they directed us to two excellent neighborhood restaurants. Breakfast was no more than adequate.

I have tried two different rooms in this hotel. The first one was small and right on the street level. Too noisy!!! The other room was completely different: big and quiet!. So let's say that quality was good considering the price; breakfast except for coffee, good enough;but after spending a week in Roma, I have to say that this hotel is quite a bit far away walking if you want to spend most of your time around Termini Station (where most of the interesting areas are located);but on the other hand, this hotel is located in a more or less quiet residential area (depending on what you are looking for).Next time I will try another hotel because of the location!

The only issue we had was when we booked a car (booked at the hotel) to take us to the airport the agreed price was €50. They took us to the main airport by mistake & then charged us an additional €50 to get to the right airport. We had no option but to pay as we were running late. Other than that we were very pleased with the hotel & thank them for a good service.

This place was not really within walking distance of anything except the bus stop. The rooms we had were nothing like the photos. We were told we had to have breakfast in our room. Which was a packet of toasted biscuit bread and a few dry bread rolls with some butter jam and something that said cheese. Acoompanied by undrinkable coffee, juice and hot milk. However when you are caffiene deprived and starving any thing will do. The other matter that disturbed us was the length of time they wanted to keep our passports. I asked for them a few hours after our arrival in front of police who happened to be there and they were returned to us only to be demanded later as apparently they hadnt finished with them. All rather unusual to us. Anyhow the rooms were air conditioned and cleanish. But I think I would try to find something closer to the centre of Rome next time. As I have found in most places the "out of business hours" staff were the most helpful friendly and professional.

Very average hotel. Pluses: Reasonably inexpensive for Rome. Friendly staff. Minuses: Dark depressing room, bathroom door does not close, blanket had small holes in it and the location isn't the greatest - far from the major sights and we had to take a cab everywhere.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Priscilla for a seven night vacation in Rome. Although the rooms were small, it is exactly what one should expect from a room in Rome. The room was very inexpensive compared to those in the surrounding area. Easily walking distance to all of Rome's major attractions. The breakfast was much better than what I was expecting from a hotel in downtown Rome. The staff was always courteous and eager to help. Would definately recommend to those looking to stay in the Eternal City and not looking to spend a whole lot.

When we arrived, we checked into our room to find it NOT cleaned since the last person checked out. Instead of offering to put us up in a room already cleaned, they made us leave our belongings in the room and asked us to leave while they cleaned it. The room itself was NOTHING like the photos on the website. The bathroom was fairly bad.

My only query was that. There was 4 rooms booked by friends of mine at the same time. We allpaid the smae money but the standard of the room varied a lot. Mine had quite a small bathrooom that the shower leaked to friends who had a mini bar, bathroom with bath and shower. These rooms should not have been the same price

The room was very noisy due to the high traffic on the Via outside but well serviced/clean and due to the air condition it was not hot at all. The breakfast was poor and the breakfast room way too small but germans may expect too much in terms of the breakfast they are used to - especially when they go to southern countries. Made same experience in France and Spain. The location was in 10 minutes walking distance from main downtown what was very acceptable. Besides the noise factor and poor breakfast I can recommend the Priscilla.

The hotel's location was not bad, but the service, facilities and the conditions of the rooms were appalling. The breakfast was also very monotonous and limited. It was by no means a 3 star hotel. It would have been better rated as 1 or at the most 2 stars. Over all this has been the worst hotel I've stayed in. Especially regarding the fact that the price for such an unacceptable hotel was unbelievably HIGH!! On the first day we actually considered going to stay some place else, but thought that we'd not be likely to find anything just a few days before the new year. In all it was very POOR!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful when asked and made our stay a very enjoyable and easy adventure. The location is a good walk from most major tourist sites but is close to everyday Roman life so has this benefit. Rooms to the front are noisy due to the traffic but quiet when windows are fully closed. This is a very friendly cosy hotel with a very diverse mix of guests and languages, so if you enjoy meeting other cultures while in Rome, this is a great place to stay. Over Christmas it was quiet, warm and welcoming, which added to our trip.

From the first to the last prompt, courteous email to the Priscilla 2, we have nothing but praise for the establishment and the people who work there. They added so much to the beauty and wonder of Rome. Beginning at the front desk, the people were so nice, helful and cheerful that they made our daily ventures easier and happier as we stepped out the front door and into the heart of shopping, dining, and a marvelous transportation system to "everywhere." The breakfast was just right, and the daily maid service was excellent. By American standards, the room was small for a three-star hotel, but it was adequate for a home base for exploring. We especially appreciated the nice big tiled bathroom, and the quiet location of our room. We have recommended the Priscilla to our local travel agent for their future customers.
