It's a typical B&B. You can get the receipt for your breakfast and you may have it at the cafeteria close to the hotel. The breakfast is one bread and a cup of coffee, so poor. Wireless internet connection available. Reception 24h open

This was actually a collection of smaller hotels in one building with five floors. The rooms were not entirely ensuite as advertised with a separate bathroom down the hall. The aircon was old and very inefficient. We were put in one of the hotels on another floor to the Planet. We booked four rooms but could only pay with one credit card and not split the bill per couple as preferred, requiring an ATM visit to get cash. Payment was required on check in not check out. The lift was miniscule requiring several trips to get luggage up and down when it operated. Only plus points were close proximity to rail transport

We reserved 3 rooms at Hotel Planet, but we were guided to Hotel Blu. One woman cared both Hotel Planet and Hotel Blu, so at the front no one was found. We were passed a key of the Hotel, and I think it was not so safe. I addition we did not accept VISA card, but accepted only cash.

We had two rooms booked, rooms were spacious and clean but both private bathrooms are very disappointing. Shower, toilet and washbasin cramped in 1m² (3 x 3 foot). We will not recommend the breakfast as it is only one crosant and a cup of coffee at a nearby café.

The location of this hotel is great since it is next to Termini; walking to some of the most famous Roman attractions, however, is a bit longer. The service is good. Our "private bathroom" was not attached to the room, but was "private." Breakfast is close by at a cafe around the corner. It was pleasant.

Very good location near Termini station. Any way we call this kind of hotel in Spain as "pension". Be careful, we thought that the hotel was in 5th floor but it has another hotel in 2nd. We had bad luck with the room, near the entrance, very noisy, and very small bathroom. Hotels in Rome are very expensive, so may be we would repeat in a similar hotel, there are no choice ;-) - sorry for my poor english -

I can only think this was like staying in in urban housing project. On 3 floor of old apt. building, small sign, the taxi driver from the train station did not want to bring us. Local area, approached to buy drugs, loud, with disco on first floor. Air shaft with people yelling and fighting all night. Front Desk, gave us 3 keys, one for the front door, one for the hotel and one for the room, be in before midnight. The room was clean but tiny isn't the word for the room and especailly the bathroom. There for one night before a flight back to US, plenty of other "nicer" looking hotels in the area.

We went to a triple room (with 3 beds as we asked for) and as tourists we basically used the room during the night to sleep. Our room was clean and tidy, the bath small but clean. The towels were quite thin. The zone is a bit noisy but it is good located, just close to Roma Termini. The breakfast was not very good: included a drink (capuccino, juice) and a croissant. Summing up, a good and not so expensive place to stay for tourism.

Credit card was not accepted and that is rather rare for the hotels near the central station in Rome. The receptionists were overall not friendly.

Got there almost midnight. They were very helpful, but they did not have enough rooms for our group even though we had reservations. They put us in a different hotel, but it was nice and clean. The location was great, a little scary late night, but right next to the underground station and had internet and laundry access right next to the hotel. Would stay there again!

Twin room requested was made up as double and then not changed when requested. Breakfast was a croissant and coffee at a cafe nearby but no fruit or fruit juice as would be expected as part of a continental breakfast. This was the most disappointing aspect and we only used this place for breakfast once. Would have preferred room rate only. Payment was requested in cash although this was not stipulated on web booking and I was unable to get this amount of cash from machines nearby, however, the staff did not insist on it when I couldn't get hold of the cash. Having said that, we booked near Termini for convenience and it was certainly convenient. Surrounding reflected train station area although it did seem talking to others that better accommodation did not cost proportionately more if further away from Termini. No tourist information in English available at hotel.

The rooms are not qualified for four people. It was normal double room and they added two poor beds. The hotel can be well for two people but terrible for four people in a room.

If one would wish to spend few days in Rome, paying not so much, this hotel it's a good solution: better if got a triple room. Breakfast is a take-away-type (croissant+a drink)at a bar just at the corner. We've spent 2 night and have had a good stayed there. We suggest it who pretends not so much by the hotel to.

We ordered 6 rooms - 3 double and 3 twins. Pictures in brochure looked more like a 3 star hotel rather than a 3 star. 2 rooms were at a different hotel on the 2nd floor where the others were on the 5th floor. The breakfast was at a coffee bar a block from the hotel. It was OK for the location we chose near the Rome Termini. It was disappointing after nicer hotels outside of Rome.

The hotel was OK, an a poor quality 2 star in the Uk, but average for Italy and they insisted on a cash payment and not credit card as we had expected, which although we had the cash could have been a problem for some travelors

very poor service, we confirmed the reservation before arrive the hotel but the room we booked was not available. The room we booked was include toilet but the actual was not. The poorest service was that we have not been told about that until we got to the room which locates in another building, the reception never say sorry, no discount when we pay cash (not as in the advertisement). Very small breakfast.

Room was clean but fairly cramped. Breakfast had to be collected from another hotel which was actually the other half of the floor and eaten in the room. We only had one chair so it wasn't that comfortable. Prices are high in Rome and this wasn't cheap but it certainly wasn't expensive compared with some I looked at. Since returning I have looked again and we could have found better and cheaper .... next time ......

the rooms were dirty and small. I requested to use the air conditioning due to the hot weather, and i was told that in this period of the year, they were shut down, and there was no possibility ti turn them on, even upon request. Well, i paid for a service and could not use it. There was no private telephone in my room, so when i needed to make phone calls, i had to use the mini bar telephone. When i was taking my shower, the entire bathroom got wet, as well as my room (can you imagine that?). Finally, i do not recommend Planet hotel and it's affiliates ( Sidney and Blu Hotels).

The hotel was OK, although a shower-curtain would do a lot to make it better. Breakfest facilities were rather small and the first day the cappuccino tasted like nothing, although the second day it was a perfect cafeine shot. We didn't expect to have to pay cash at arrival and could barely scrape enough money together. In general an average hotel with only minor discomforts.

They offer 'room breakfast' service with a piece of bread and a cup of 'neither hot nor cold' coffee per person. We have booked Hotel Planet on the 5th floor but we are transferred to another hotel on the 2nd floor of the same building.

Took two rooms, a quad and a triple. triple was located on the building interior side (quiet). quad was on the exterior side (not quiet), but more spacious. Good AC, Friendly staff - parking garage located nearby. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Central location very near the train-metro station. Would stay there again.

This was one of the few hotels in the price bracket that offered breakfast, which was one of the reasons it was selected. The breakfast was a bit hit & miss! The Hotel itself was in an excellent position for sightseeing. A short walk from both the train and bus station. A good time was had by all.

We ended up in a different hotel to the one we had book, although still in the sam building and owned by the same people, but the room did not resemble those show in the pictures in any way, it was considerably smaller and cramped with a tiny bathrooom and was very noisy. That said, the room was very clean, and the staff themselves very friendly and helpful.

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in Italy! The staff would not accept credit card for my stay, instead they demanded cash for the room! The hotel is dirty and lots of things don't work. The showerhead was broken, the light in the bathroom did not work and there was no A/C in the room! Also, the bed was soft and the pillow was dirty! I would never stay in this motel again in my life!!!!!!
