Convenient hotel, price wise, but obviously far from the center. Large rooms well designed and rather quite inspite the fact that the hotel face the main road called Aurelia To have yr own car it's a must......no subway stations available nearby and , i suspect, bus service to city quite difficoult to use

Hotel di elevato standard. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un po' cari i servizi extra (internet). Parcheggio disponibile e gratuito.

The hotel was refurbished last year, BUT only a part. The entrance hall and the bar were fency and new, the personal was very forthcoming. The breakfast was good. But we had the bad luck to get a room in the part of the hotel that wasn't refurbished. The room was old fashioned and not 4* imho, spots on the carpets and all such things. Very annoying was the fact that the wands of the rooms were so thin that you could hear your neighbors talk. This is something that can be beared three nights, but if I had to stay longer, I would have requested another room. The location of the hotel was ideal. Arriving with car it isn't difficult to find it, and it had its own parking space. The bus to the center of Rome (No. 881) leaves directly outside of the hotel, and it needs half an hour to St. Peters and the center.

Bello, appena rinnovato e molto accogliente.

This hotel is in a fine location and offers good value for money, however, do not expect modern comforts, it is aged. But bear in mind it is going under a revamp and will be trading as a Holiday Inn when it is finished.

HOTEL Aurelia positioned in the area served by public transportation, even if the machine is recommended. Comfortable hotel, even if the rooms are not very large, with television, parking, mini bar and excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and available. Price / quality excellent. Recommendation

It was to far to the city center.. from the Termini station you need to take metro (8 stations) then walk about 800-1000m and after that take a bus line 881 and it takes about 20 minutes... Sumarising it's about 1h to Termini station..

This hotel is under renovation. Judging from what I saw, it should be quite nice when it is finished. Friendly staff. Breakfast is good. Taxi from Fiumicino airport about 40 Eur. Bus stop in front of hotel.

It was our second time in the same hotel, and this time was a much better experience due to a redesign of the facilities, that's why we rated just with 7. There is one thing to consider if you are using public transportation, specifically the metro (subway) because from the closest metro station (Cornelia) to the bus station is more than 200 meters, is about 800 meters. But in general, the hotel is fine based on price/quality.

I would say that this was an overall poor hotel. Though the front desk staff were realitively helpful. The room we requested was a nonsmoking triple, when we went up to our room it smelt as though someone had just finished their cigarette in there. So we changed rooms and were sent to a room that the maid was still cleaning. Once the maid was finished no one told her that it was a triple so the poor lady had to remake the beds. My biggest problem was that we were not informed that the hotel was under construction. It was really nice to avoid the scafolding on the way in and all the plastic hanging form the ceiling. Also the hotel was in the middle of nowhere. And in the morning we had to catch a shuttle to the airport, well the driver was asleeep in the bus and my friend had to get him a coffee to wake him up.

WE HAD A VERY GOOD TIME IN PISANA PALACE, IS NICE GOOD PLACE TO STAY. IN ONLY 20 MINUTES YOU'RE IN VATICANO. THE BREAKFAST IS GOOD THEY HAVE DIFFERENT THINGS TO EAT.IT WAS DELICIOUS. YOU CAN GET THERE BY BUS OR SUBWAY IS VERY EASY. IS A LITTLE FAR FROM THE TRAIN STATIOS BUT IT WORTH.

It is hard to find this hotel if you haven't been in Rome (or Italy) before. It would be nice if there would be information how to get to this hotel by bus if you come from the station Termini. The staff seems to understand English, but they don't get all of it. You have to refrase you questions to know for sure they understand you. But they are kind. Pisana Palace: don't recommend the taxidriver to your guests anymore you recommend to me. He was not friendly and not a visitecard to your hotel. The breakfast was good, English and continental. Even cakes for breakfast! My daughters loved it. Dinner was less. Price and quality don't match. The staff was friendly, though. Don't sleep with open window because of the noise of some of the guests, sometimes till 3 o'clock in the morning(!), and during our stay, the airco didn't work.

This room SHOULD NOT have been given out for use by any one in the condition we encountered. The room is in dire need of refurbishing. The carpet was FILTHY, the TV didn't work, the bath room floor was dirty, the wash basin was severely scratched and stained, only 3 hangers were provided, amongst other shortcomings. I would hope that the hotel had other rooms in much better shape than ours or they wouldn't be able to stay in business. On a positive note, the restaurant and morning breakfast was very well done. The food and service were very good.

This was one of the worst places we stayed in Italy. We booked our hotels late and so didn't have too much of a choice in Rome.... We had to wait for almost an hour to check in and get our room keys.... The employees are more interested in selling tours than servicing poeple who come in to check in. Also this is not in the heart of Rome, so not the best choice from a location standpoint.

My wife and I (56) stayed for 6 nights. The staff was very qualified and friendly. The room (430) was rather noisy because of some engine working just outside the window. The room was very tidy but should be renovated. A good thing is that everywhere in the hotel smoking is prohibited. The included breakfast was very enjoyable and well organised from 07.00 till 09.30. The restaurant on the first floor showed a varied menu in different prices. The busstop in front of the hotel was very convenient to go to the citycenter. To get to station Termini and back was not easy, espescially when carriing suitecases.(Beware of pickpockets) There is a shopping centre only a few busstops from the hotel which is quite handy to drop in for a bottle of water and some sandwiches before going into the city.

Sport Center(11 tenniscourts)very near Pisana Palace. Why does'nt the hotel advertise this? Surely the hotel could have more customers. The bustraffic is very good, easy and cheap. Breakfast is splendid, delicious and healthy! The breakfast-personnel is the best and most friendly in this hotel.Special thanks to Mariangela! The personnel in reception did not notice customers(no good mornings).Smiling does'nt cost anything but gives a good feeling to the customer. We got very good and friendly service from Maria and Luigi. At the end we succeed to get a beautiful smile from Veronica and we became good friends. At the beginning we got a room without mini-bar and so got our Finnish friends too, althoug mini-bar includes to all rooms.Next day we could move to another room. Why such kinds of problems? We think that four stars to the hotel is too much, maybe three is enough. The hotel needs renovation, refurnishion and light colours. Nevertheless we recommend this hotel to anyone! We'll come again!

While the price and location were 100% accurate, little else was. For a 4-star hotel (even in Europe, where standards are lower than in the States), this hotel was very poor. As soon as I entered the main door, I knew we were in trouble. One of two entrances were non-functional, and the lobby and check-in area were covered with carpet stains. Not a good first impression. The clerk who checked me in was rude, short, and demanding. In addition, the information I submitted on-line regarding my infant son requiring a crib was missing. The clerk was NOT happy I had an infant she didn't know about. Once checked in and headed to the room (approximately 30 minutes were required to check-in), one of two elevators was not functioning. After finally entering the room, many, many more carpet stains greeted us, as well as literally, close to an inch of dust on a suspended ceiling housing lighting fixtures. The bathroom sink looked like it had been carved up by a butcher and all fixtures had a healthy coating of rust. The telephone looked like it was new in 1963, the TV had a non functioning remote control, the fridge would not get cold, and the air conditioning could be turned on or off, but not adjusted in any way, due to broken controls. To top it all off, we had no "Do Not Disturb" sign. In addition, we were told the check-in counter and/or hotel gift shop had available for purchase "all-day metro tickets." Not once during our stay did they have them. Finally, the hotel restaurant staff was rude, ineffecient and SLOW! We arrived at approximately 2030 and one of the two restaurant rooms had empty, unprepared tables. The second room had approximately 12 tables, half of which were occupied by diners, the other half occupied by the remnants of former diners. We were not greeted by any of the 5 or 6 attendents, and had to ask for a place to sit. We got a nasty look and an order to wait.

Biagio Carrano, 347.4049002

We were with my wife and our 1 y.o. child there. Everything is perfect from price-quality point of view. This is not a 4 star hotel (it was maybe 10 years ago), the walls in rooms are thin and the general hotel view from outside is not the best. The rooms and inside area has conditioning system. Personal is very nice. The breakfast is very very good. Bus connection was also perfect, every 10-15 minutes directly to San Pietro. I would recommend to book a airport-hotel transfer because the taxi's are to expensive: had to pay 60 Euro for 3 persons from airport to the Hotel. Hotel price is 8 Euro per person !! I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a nice stay in Rom.

An old but clean hotel. Nice breakfast bus its ti far an you have to walk a lot from de Subway to de bus and then, after 12 stops is the hotel. Ein altes aber sauberes hotel. Aber der ligt zu weit weg. Salve!

It's not a good option if you travel by train or through any public transportation system, as taking taxi is the unique way to get to train station, metro or sight-seeing spots. We spet approx. 20euros to get there from the nearest train staion and another 12euros to the airport(shuttle is not free). The extra expenses plus room charge is just equal to a hotel in town. We were expecting to stay at a modern hotel as what they introduced themselves at Venere, but it's actually outdated and needs remodeling... The room was not clean either, it made our stay uncomfortable... People are nice, surrounding are good, but no good location, facility nor cleanliness.

My wife & I were mostly disappointed with this hotel. The e-mail did not state that the airport shuttle was a chargeable item. The room we had was very hot and noisy. Although it was advertised as an air conditioned room, the A/C was not operational at the manager's decision. Opening the window facing a soccer field & the main road made the night noisy for a uncomfortable night's sleep. The shower stall was the worst of it all. There was no way to properly mix in enough cold water to make showering comfortable and the stall was so small I had to step out to be able to reach the floor if the soap fell out of my hand. How this hotel was rated 4 stars is a mystery to me. Three stars would have been a generous rating but four stars is way out of proportion. The size of replaceable toilet items such as toilet paper and bar soap was very skimpy. The price of each night was a savings over many hotels but should be tempered carefully with items of standard comfort you give up for these savings. When we return to this area, we will not consider this hotel worth another experience.

The hotel was located at about 7 km from the center of the town, bus in front and you had to do a transfer in order to get into middle of the town. One night there was no bus, because of a demonstration on our bus's route. But hotel staffs give us ocation of two very good restaurant close by. Breakfast at hotel was OK.

Farmacia proprio accanto all'ingresso.

Excellent breakfast. It's distant from the centre and the last bus to return to the hotel its before midnight. A good option for travellers with a car.

Pisana Palace is at the lower end of the three star range. By American or Australian standards, it is more the quality of a mid-range motel. Having said that, it's clean, comfortable and as cheap as you'll find in Rome for acceptable accommodation. It is located some way from the centre of the city, and can be hard to find if you don't know the way. From the Roma Termini (railway station), take the number 64 bus for about 15 minutes to Cavalleggeri just near the Vatican, then change to a number 881 bus. The Pisana Palace is 20 minutes or so along Via della Pisana, near the end of the bus route.

The hotel is not located at the place opinting in the map. My impression was that the hotel is much closer to the center. The hotel quality fit the price, but it is certainly not at a level of 4 star. Room decoration is not of the best test.

This hotel is a very nice address for a journey to rome. We discovered everything as it was described on the "venere" homepage. The rooms are very clean and well equiped, the breakfast is perfect, the employees are very gentile. There is a busstop directly in front of the hotel entrance: The bus takes you to the vaticano within ten minutes, from that location you can reach every other point of the city by walking or taking the metro as well. The lie of the hotel itself is well chosen, because you won´t get in touch with the noisy city during the nights. So you really can consider about making your reservation to this hotel for a journey to rome.

My partner and i chose this hotel because of its price and the reviews that it had already recieved. Believe me we were not disappointed, this hotel thoroughly deserves its 4* rating. We ate in the restaurant both nights due to bad feet and then a thunder storm and the food was gorgeous, the best steak ever, and pasta so unbelievable. the maitre de was really nice and was everything that you would expect, on the second night he came and found us in the bar to tell us our table was ready. all of the staff were really welcoming. couldnt fault it in the least. rooms were very spacious and airy, took a while to figure out the air conditioning though, silly brits on holiday though!!! overall i think it was a perfect hotel for a young couple's first holiday together. it was really easy to get into the center of rome as well, a bus stop right outside the hotel. although i would suggewst a taxi from the airport to save confusion on your arrival. we found one from ciampino for €95 return journey for two people, not bad really. all in all, i wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Superb Hotel for the price. Close and easy access to the Airport by car or shuttle bus. Bus stop at the door (Ride into town a little long). Breakfast was excellent. Rooms tend to be noisy if you have a young family or active couple in the next room. If you have your own transportation this hotel is a excellent value.

The instructions on the web for getting there with car is totaly wrong, we tried to find the hotel for one hour. First night they put us in room so small and with so small bed that we wanted to leave, but when we complained next day, they gave us better room, and that was realy OK. Breakfast realy OK, for the price we paid (45 EUR) realy worth it.

this place is a bargain. Never mind the negative comments. The staff more than make up for some of this hotel's drawbacks. If anything, it is boorish customers that give this place a bad reputation. Breakfast is fabulous, the staff is great, no problem with parking. Just a little out of the way!

It was my third stay in this hotel. I prefer this hotel since it is not far from the Fuminicino airport. It is also easy to go downtown by bus and of course the price is very good. First we got a bad room this time but after asking they gave us a better and bigger room. The rooms are old but clean. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is helpful. To be a four star hotel a renovation is required.

The pictures look NOTHING like the actual property. Twenty years ago, this must have been a beautiful hotel. Parking is almost non existent. The rooms are only a couple notches above "prison cell". Noisy, damp carpet from the A/C. The price is right, but pix are misleading.

Avoid this hotel. The staff (except for Francesca) were rude, unhelpful and down right arrogant. Free Shuttle bus does not go to Ciampano airport, and they refuse to go there without a rip-off 80 euro payment even if the driver if not busy. Originally given room 437 - my God, the A/C sounded like a lawn mower. This is one tired looking hotel. Walls grubby, fittings old, carpets dirty, rooms generally sad looking and the bathroom was smelly. A nasty sewagey pong wafted from the bath. The photos are immensely flattering to say the least. This is a poor 2 star at best. The restaurant at the side of the restaurant is appalling. A total rip off and lousy food, and very little in the local area by way of alternative. We ate in Rome before we returned. Our original booking was for 2 x triple rooms. We changed this to a double and a triple, they confirmed this by e-mail, but then charged us for 2 triples. We had to pay it or risk missing the flight. One positive point, the breakfast. Served in the breakfast room it is more than adequate, but this is not a good hotel, not good at all. Avoid it.

The Hotel was right on the 881 bus line as specified so not a problem to get to from Rome Termini train station (took the 64 bus first). Lots of groups stay at Pisana Palace and we nad a large number of noisy kids running around making noise. Its a long walk to any restaurants (other than the one in the hotel), and the walk seemed a bit dark & dangerous but nothing happened. Found a nice one about a mile up the street.
