Hotel staff were great and extremely helpful with regards to local site seeting. Excellent value for the money. Even the breakfast was a bit more than expected for Italy. Always a choice of cereal, yogurt, sliced meats & cheese, bread & pastries, coffee & juice. I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel & would highly recommend it to others.

The room was small and simple but offered everything I needed. It was just a little dirty. The staff was friendly and the service o.k. If someone wants a central location and just looks for a place to sleep in Rome the Hotel Paris is perfect because it is near to the central station and all important objects of interest are reachable by food. The relation between price and overall quality is absolut acceptable.

We stopped in hotel for 4 nights, and we lived in double,we have a big room for Rome and 3* hotel.the hotel is conveniently located, in a few minutes on foot from railway station.it is possible to reach the Collisee by foot for 10 minutes. On the reception the personnel polite but not so close, constantly look in the monitor of a computer. Breakfast to us has not liked, the choice is not so much is not great also the hot drinks from the automatic device.

The hotel was very basic but adequate. One complaint, we paid extra for suite with jacuzzi but jacuzzi not working. The location was excellent, close to shopping, nice bars & restaurants and within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Lots of noise from streets til late but this added to the atmosphere, afterall, we were in centre of Rome! The staff was very courteous and pleasant at all times. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again definitely. Anne & Mohamed, Ireland

Very good value for price. Walking distance to most of the most famous attractions. No air condition, so we slept with windows open, and there is quite heavy traffic in the nearby street. The first night we had a horrible room. The window looked to the back yard with a great air conditioning machine; so the window could not be opened because of the noise which we heard nevertheless the whole night. After the change of the room next morning the following nights were ok. Another point for a critical comment is the breakfast: It is simply poor.

This hotel doesn't deserve three stars...The room was clean and spacious, but the curtains were broken and I couldn't close them, so I was up at dawn with all the light coming into my room. At first I thought it was kinda cute that all the staff was chinese, kinda unique, until I tried getting directions to the nearest internet spot..They don't speak Italian well and don't speak English...Breakfast, as everyone here says, was really bad. They gave me kraft slices as cheese, served in their plastic wrapping...not really a 3 star place, for a lower price this would be fine..If you dont care about breakfast or a noisy room, this is an optimal location, close to Termini but not in a nasty area.

A good value, but only if you need no services from the all-Asian staff. At 6:45 am, I had to wake up the guy at the front desk in order to exit the locked hotel. They don't speak English well and they don't even speak Italian well. They were unable to provide accurate directions to the nearest police station, and were unable to provide assistance making a collect call. The room itself was very simple, but big enough and quiet enough, though thoroughly lacking in charm. Be prepared for a flight of stairs to get to the lobby, then another flight of stairs to get to the tiny elevator! Breakfast was decent but not excellent. Air-conditioning in July was very minimal...94 degrees outdoors, maybe 84 degrees in the room even with the a/c cranked up all the way. As for location, is 4 very long blocks from Termini Station and bus station...I would say around a half-mile, which was more than advertised, and watch out for pickpockets and suspicious people...the bustling neighborhood does not give one a safe feeling, even in the daytime. If you are young and agile, know your way around Rome, are not fussy, and looking to save money, this hotel might work for you. I don't recommend it to anyone over 40. It should be listed as a two-star hotel, not three.

The welcome was poor to say the least. The room was dark and very poorly lite. We wanted a double room but paid for and received a double, plus single bed, it made for very tight quarters. At $194 per night I would have expected much better. This was our 3rd trip to Italy and we love Rome, but we will never stay at the Paris Hotel again. Hotel management was deceptive. Air conditioning was advertised, but was available only during certain posted hours. And then it was not even available during the poster hours, specifically at night. As you will notice, rooms in Rome are pretty small. Ours was ok and the other room (my father-in-law's) was really really small. On a personal note, the idea wasn't to spend time in our rooms so for the purpose of it, it was very good. The staff (maintenance) was very friendly. It was weird though to be in Rome and be greated by Asians. Don't get me wrong, the service was good and they spoke very good Italian and English but it was just funny. It was very well situated and in Rome this is important. Close enough to the main road so it is easy to get there and far enough that you didn't get all the noise. Don't hesitate to book.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was perfect, as the hotel was within walking distance of most sights and within a block or two of bus and metro stops. The neighborhood was safe and clean, with lots of good restaurants and shops. Only complaints were the size of the room and shower stall and the noise from the street below. The room was barely big enough to allow you to walk around the bed, and the shower stall was tiny (if you're over 220 pounds or have problems bending your knees, forget about it. The shower was not big enough to allow you to bend at the waist.) Otherwise, I would definitely recommend the Hotel Paris.

Air conditioning only ran some hours of the day. When it did run it was poor at best. Upon arriving we were given a box room with a single bed, i had booked a double room. We complained and were told that the single room was the only room they had left. We were moved the following day but only recieved a 20 euro discount, i think this was not satisfactory .If you are not at breakfast early all seats are taken and you have to share a table with another couple, not what i want on a romantic weekend away.Overall i was very disapointed with this accomodation and would NOT recommend it.

I am sorry to say that this hotel was the worst I have ever been in.

Picture of the room on the web looks good, but in reality it was very small. Boring breakfast with very limited choices.

this was a very nice hotel. the people at the desk were extremely helpful with directions and maps. They have a strange schedule for the airconditioning, which you cannot control, and it is not on at all hours- something that is not stated on the website. Excellent location.

This was my third visit to Hotel Paris and it was good to see the same staff are still there! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is clean, central, and within walking distance of Termini and Repubblica stations, as well as not too far away from the historic centre. The room was small, but this is not unusual for hotel rooms in the city centre. I will choose it again when I next visit Rome.

How to reach Hotel Paris

By car
The property can be easily reached via the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road, connected to all the main incoming highways. Follow the directions from any point of the Raccordo to the Centro (city centre) and then to Termini, very close to the hotel. Please contact the property for information regarding where to park.

By train
The hotel lies only 400 metres from the Roma Termini railway station and can be easily reached on foot.

By airplane
From the Fiumicino international airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Termini and follow the aforementioned indications.
From the Ciampino international airport, take the bus to Anagnina, then underground line A to Repubblica.
