Hotel Nizza is well situated less than 5 minutes walk from Termini and therefore good bus and metro services. This is a plus after a long journey and all you want to find is your hotel. Generally the staff were very pleasant and obliging and there were a reasonable number of English speakers. The hotel-provided breakfast was generally good by 3 star hotel standards except for the coffee, which must have been the worst coffee in Italy! The rooms were clean and well serviced and staff were obliging in providing extra pillows etc and there were plenty of good quality towels, better than most places. But the rooms are very small. Given the surrounds they were fairly quiet so that you could sleep with the window open if you wanted to and not be too disturbed. Overall a good experience despite the small rooms and bad coffee! The room didn't have a safe (although the information on the website said it would). This is the second time I stayed at the Nizza - I had a better room last time!

hotel Nizza was an old hotel, but if you can see past the old but clean decor, the location is excellant. just near the termini and if you are nearthere you are near anywhere as this is where all buses, trains and subway go from

Extremely friendly staff and nice, spacious rooms for the price. Short walking distance to the main train terminal and walking distance, although a little far if you're not up for walking, to the major tourists attractions. Nice neighborhood, we felt safe there.

This was a terrible ( and Expensive stay in Roma). I did not enjoy it at all. Especially when I have arrived at 22:00 (after a long day travelling from PAU-LYON-MILAN (meeting all day) then ROME and then you have the receptionist asking for a print of the reservation other wise, I would not get the keys. He would wait until the next day. I had to look for an internet Cafe for 1 hour to print (23:00)- He said, if we were not happy, we could go to another hotel. The quality of the hotel is not what we were expecting neither the quality of the personnel. Only 2 Channels were watchable in the TV and both are in Italian. This is a Hotel I will never go to again.

During my stay, the hotel was full of high school kids from spain. They were very noisey and rude. I was unable to enjoy a nights sleep, and this would last until @1:00am. The management did very little to fix the problem.

I recall reading somewhere that this Hotel had had a recent refurb - not sure which century they were talking about as i saw cleaner ruins. No glasses in the bar meant we were reduced to drinking beer from Whisky glasses but there were excellent bars around the corner. Other than that the service was good under the circumstances and the bed decent so one cannot complain too much. I would rather have crummy wallpaper and a decent matress than the other way round. Good location means that if you cannot find somewhere around here for cheaper then i would consider staying here again if i returned to Rome.

For the most part the room was clean and big enought, breakfast was good, and the staff was pleasant. I did have a couple of problems. The hairdryer was broken when I got there and even though I told the front desk on my first morning, it was not fixed until my last day (3 days later). Also, the roof in the hall leaked during heavy rain. I ended up walking under the water coming from the ceiling into a huge puddle.

Quite reasonably-priced for the level of quality.

The bathroom is very unconfortable, accessories are old and broken. The lift doesn't work well and over all they didn't accept a credit card payment for about 70€.
