this is our second time to stay in Mozart due to its excellent location. It was abit noisy due to neighbourhood guest room other than that we are very satisfied.

We stay in Mozar Hotel for 5 nights. We like very much this boutique Hotel. The roon was big and clean. The staff was helpul. Also the Hotel is central, in the room it was very quiet. Internet was costless. The breakfast was very good and a lot of assortment and a variety. The Hotel is in a central place. all araund shops and restaurants. in the same street there is a very good and cheap Chinese resturant. Opposite to the Hotel is a bus station. 10-15 moments walking distance to all important piazzas. We recommend this hotel to all our friends and when we will come again to Rome, we will stay again in this hotel.

The hotel was in a very nice neighborhood close to the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolos and the Trevi Fountain. We felt very safe walking around at night. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is so-so. What was awful was the smell of someone smoking, coming through the vent. This happened at night, from 10pm to 1am. I guess people came back to the hotel and smoked, and the smell got carried through the vent and into our room. (Bathroom doesn't have a fan but a constant venting system) When I called the front desk about it, not knowing how it happened, he was not sympathetic but said he couldn't do anything about it. He said there is no smoking only in the public area but people could smoke in the rooms--that explained why there were ash trays in the room. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room. I couldn't do anything to stop the smell from coming into our room. The people who worked at the front desk was not warm at all. They talked you with a stoic face and gave you short answers. Not very helpful at all. If you get put off by that, I don't recommend this hotel. this was the only place in our Italy trip that offered free computer use with internet

A clean, nice hotel just a few steps from Piazza del Popolo or Spagna. Via del Corso and other major shopping streets are just right there. Easy access to public transport. Splendid breakfast. Small rooms though.

This hotel was recommended by friends. We wanted to stay at a smaller property rather than a big hotel, yet we also wanted a handy location, cleanliness and quiet rooms---very good beds, air conditioning and other amenities. We found all this and more...internet, lovely breakfast room, terrace area for cocktails, rooftop style. Taxis, restaurants, very helpful staff made this a wonderful stay.

The location of the Mozart is excellent but remember this is a very busy part of a busy city. WE changed our reservation while in Italy to arrive a day early; they fitted us in but it was not a great room...and we were booked for 7 nights. The second day they moved us to the Vivaldi suites which was a great experience ( see their web site ). The inner courtyard backed on to the academy of music and the opera and orchestral music was a great bonus. The reception staff know their restaurants ..their recommendations were great. Avoid Gusto, not good food, overpriced and appalling service...but listed in all the guide books. It is really worth taking a cab to, for instance, the Borghese or the Vatican..for 6 euros you arrive fresh and ready for the main event. You need a reservation for the Borghese and to maximise your time its a good idea to book ahead at the Vatican ( 1 km line ups the day we were there.)

Great location, great services, staff ready to help. Only slightly negative aspect is the surprisingly noisy environment although the hotel is located in a tiny street with no traffic!

I was very disappointed with the service at the hotel and the room given to me.i had to leave after spending one night. the room was nothing like what it should have been.the biggest disadvantage of the room was that it was super humid. it was the worst choice ever made so far.

Everything was great, from the moment i walked in the door until the time i left. i even extended my stay one night. my only complaint would be the bed. it was not the most comfortable mattress i have laid on, but everything else made up for it.

Hotel Mozart is the perfect choice for your stay in Rome. Centrally located, just minutes away from the spanish steps, main shopping streets and easy access to most historic sites, and reasonably priced. We payed approx 500 EUR for 4 nights. Clean and spacious rooms, we were lucky and got a room on the top floor, with only three rooms at the entire floor. We felt like royalty with the high standard room and had direct access to the roof terrrace from our corridor - this was beautiful BTW. Italian Selva furnishing all throughout the hotel and a spacious marble bathroom, and in-room DVD made this the perfect getaway from our daily stress. Internet Access was free but a little slow. But we were on vacation so we had a world of time ;-) Breakfast buffet had a wide selection, much better than the other continental hotels I have tried. We actually set the alarm in time for breakfast, thats how great the breakfast was. We usually skip breakfast and get it at cafes when travelling. We would definately go back and can recommend this hotel.

This is a very charming hotel in the heart of Rome. The only problem is that all the streets there are too narrow for even a taxi car to enter. So you have to carry your luggage yourself... I would definitely recommend this hotel to a romantic traveller to Rome!

This was our first stay at Hotel Mozart, and we were very happy with it. Traveling off-season, we got a great standard compared to what we paid for our room, and the hotel standard was great. The surroundings were excellent, with just a couple of blocks to the Spanish steps, metro and a shopping street. Most of the tourist sites we visited were within walking distance from the hotel.

We stayed here at the end of a 2-week trip that covered Venice, Florence, Viareggio and Rome. After enduring hotels in Florence and Viareggio with thin mattresses and soft pillows, reviews on Venere.com for the Mozart convinced us it was worth the money to try it out. We could not have been more satisfied with the hotel, the room, the staff, the free internet access and the location. Of particular note is the rooftop terrace, a great place to relax and unwind at the end of the day and enjoy a great view. We had no problem walking to ALL the sites in Rome from here, though that means you need a bit of endurance, and two Metro stops are close by as well, not to mention the Spanish Steps.

We actually stayed in the Mozart apartment just down the street and it was really lovely. Delicious breakfast brought to the room every day, Sky TV, spacious, clean, great location and in a lovely old building. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Some people on this website have complained about the long walk up the alley from where the taxi drops off but you can ask the driver to let you off at the Via del Corso side and it is only a few steps to the door.

Wonderful hotel with great service. Well worth the price and in a location that is close to all of Rome's hot spots.

United Arab Emirates, Aug 2007
The standard double here is a tiny room with a tiny bathroom, and is on the road facing side of the hotel therefore is quite noisy, so I would say its really only suitable for a 1 night stay. As we were staying there for longer we requested a room change and they kindly upgraded us to a Vivaldi Luxury Room. This was perfect, as it was very quiet and peaceful, and was bigger too. The bathroom was lovely as it had a Jacuzzi bath and shower. As these rooms are away from the main building, breakfast is served in your room, and you can pre order what you would like the night before and hang the notice on your door. The staff at this hotel were so helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. We took recommendation from the duty manager on which restaurants to try, and each one was fantastic, but our favourite was "Sicilia..ndo" which was like a 5 star restaurant with 3 star prices - fabulous! We loved the hotel and Rome so much that we extended our stay here from 5 nights to 7!!

Lovely boutique style hotel - short walk (5 mins)to Spanish Steps, Metro. First impression very good - entrance foyer, lounge/reading room, dining room (v. good breakfast)and especially rooftop bar area with great views definitely a highlight. Single room not large but comfortable and nicely furnished. Good bathroom amenities. Airport to Termini train station - train Euro 11, Taxi from Termini train station to hotel approx Euro 20, metro Termini/Spagna stop Euro 1; private car from airport direct to hotel Euro 55;, shuttle airport/Termini Euro 35 or on spot Euro 25. Shuttle may only drop at end of street not right outside door. Euro 97 single/night average for good 3 star hotel in this position - would stay there again.

We spent three lovely nights at the Mozart -- a fantastic location, a very spacious, spotless room on the fourth floor for a great price (153 euros), wonderful breakfasts, and a lovely rooftop bar. Our only (minor) complaint was that the concierge was of limited help when we asked him to find out about opera tickets at the Terme di Caracalla.

Hotel check-in time is 2 pm & we arrived at 10 am. There was no room available at that time but we were immediately given a room at a building just round the corner. The room is not big but other than this, everything else is great. There is a 5-star bathroom with a jacucci and a nice set of toiletries. Breakfast was served in the room & that was a good breakfast. For those who love shopping, this is a good location, right in the heart of shopping area & Spanish steps.

I stayed here with my wife in October. The hotel and the outdoor bar/patio were lovely. The location was close to all sites we wanted to see while in Rome. We enjoyed the bar adjoining the hotel on the first level where the happy hour spread left us with no need for dinner, so we took a romantic walk to Trevi Fountain, we will never forget it! We found the staff quite accommodating. We had assistance whenever we needed a cab, so even though the hotel is down a very quaint alley, we had help with our luggage. The breakfast was better than most and we would stay at Mozart again. We have already recommended Mozart to friends.

We had 5 great days in Rome in the beginning of february, staying at Hotel Mozart. After breakfast, we enjoyed coffe on the roof terrace in the morning sun. We brought the coffe from our rooms, the roof terrace is wonderful, but the terrace bar is closed in winter. The two single rooms we had faced Via dei Greci, where there are almost no traffic, so we were not troubled by noise problems. Rooms were OK and well kept, but small. The shower was a bit tricky because it's very small, but all in all the hotel was a nice place to stay in Rome.

Nice and reasonable small hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and good location. A small disappointement that the bar and terrace was closed all weekend. And the internet only accepted a few websites.

The hotel was lovely and the room was very spacious. My only complaint (although no fault of the hotel) was my room overlooked a busy street, so it was noisy at night- even with the windows shut. But, the location couldn't be beat, so I accepted it was a fair tradeoff. I'd definitely choose this hotel again.

The hotel's plumbing was extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night. In addition, the hotel was in the process of construction work in a bar area that resulted in incredibly loud noise in our room from 7:00 through most of the day. Many of the reviews on Venere that appear under Mozart are for Vivaldi Suites, which is commonly owned, nearby, and apparently MUCH nicer. This was misleading.

United Kingdom, Oct 2004
I stayed in a single room and the quality was on the low end: very small cheap shower, small room and uncomfortable bed. I hope the suites were better. The roof garden overlooking Rome was great and you couldn't beat the location. If you want a late check out be forwarned, there was a couple who had previously arranged a late check out for 1:00 pm and the day they checked out the hotel staff refused saying 12:00 was the latest.

Overall we found the property facilities and staff excellent. Our room was, however, very dark with little natural light and we had to keep the articial lighting switched on. We would have preferred a lighter room with a better view.

1. It looked as though the hotel offered a 10% discount if you booked more than two months ahead. Maybe I was just outside this, I can't remember now but I certainly wasn't aware of it at the time of booking. 2. Roof terrace fabulous but large umbrellas only put up when roof bar open in the evening..it would have been nice to have some shade in the day

The hotel leans closer to a two star than a three. The beds were worn and the bedspreads need a good scrubbing. I believe our bedsheets were being recycled too.

Nice hotel well located. The room we stayed in for 220 euros per night was small and the shower was not accpeptable, even for Italian hotels. The shower was barely enough room for one person to stand upright and the shower curtain (instead of the usual plastic surround)made the experience challenging at best. The staff howerver is extremely freindly and helpful when trying to make dinner reservations etc., and the roof top terrace is nice on sunny days. The location can't be beat.

Very friendly conciierge - recommended excellent restaurants every evening, organised cabs that didn't rip us off and were gennerally great. Roof garden a definite bonus with great views. Great breakfast ...served untill 10.30am! The only problem was we booked a deluxe double room and got two twins pushed together and the room was rather small, but I guess that common with space so tight. The location is excellent everything is within walking distance. We will go back to the Mozart ...hopefully very soon.

My wife and I really liked this hotel. The room was nice and the staff was helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The rooftop patio/bar was unique! The only drawback (and we were digging deep here to find one) was the inability of taxis to get to the front door of the hotel, in case you have heavy luggage.

The hotel is good if you stay one or two nights. The rooms are really very, very small. The roof-terrace is very relaxing and the location just perfect. The hotel's entrance is in a small street and taxis cannot drive guests in front of it. They have have rooms facing the main road which is rather noisy. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast they serve is above Italian standard.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Globus. The rooms were spotless; the newly renovated bathrooms were gorgeous; the staff was very helpful...the desk clerk recommended an excellent restaurant within 4 blocks of the hotel; there was internet service provided so that we could stay in touch with friends and family in the states; the breakfast was delicious; and the location was just right. We highly recommend Hotel Mozart.

The standard double room was very small. It is clear that in that old city house small rooms do exist but it should be told in the descriptions. Furniture, bath room equipment fine and clean. Im Bad etwas seltsame Gerüche aus den Abflüssen. Wahrscheinlich liegt auch dies am Alter de Installation.

It wanted slippers because the floor of the room was a tile. Putting in and out of the baggage is inconvenient because a car can't be brought alongside as the entrance. There is a step by the reconstruction, and carrying of the baggage can't be done by using the caster. Though it enters, it is put, and an elevator is attached. The contents of breakfast and employee's correspondence were very good. Conditions of location were wonderful, too.

We really ended up liking this place. The staff was really helpful. The location was great. The rooms were a little small and the toilet positions really tight for a 6' 4" american. But these are really minor complaints. ALSO, for our last two nights we stayed in a spacious one bedroom apartment they call the Victoria Suite which was one block away. It was great..you really feel like you are living in Rome..get it if you can.

We booked a superiour double and were a bit disappointed about the rather small room, the view (to a backyard) and the bathroom (no bathtub, small shower). But the location is excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the roof garden and its bar is certainely an asset.

Hotel Mozart is a nice, but small hotel in a good location. However, since the street is not accessible by taxi, it is necessary to carry one's luggage approx. one block to the hotel entrance. The staff was very pleasant and agreeable. However, the superior room which I had booked did not seem to have any attributes that would merit such a designation. Based on the information contained on the website I expected that it would be more spacious, have a better view and perhaps a private terrace or balcony. My room had none of these features.
