Nearby, the restaurant of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni with buffet on Sundays is a good choice. Don't let the hotel's kitch entrance (on Xmas period) fool you, the bedrooms are much more modern. The staff at the hotel could have been better (at breakfast they pick up everything at 10:30 and you are asked to leave ! At check out, when I payed by card the receptionist asked for my pin number to put it in himself !!! EUH, NO I'd rather do it myself thank you ... The hotel is very conveniantly located near the red metro line.

First time in Rome Hotel Mondial is for old people : decoration is ugly, old-fashioned I never saw a room so small. It was like a rabbit cage with a bed for kid. This hotel clearly need a refresh.

Our opening card was prepared only to work one day (we stayed four days and every day we have to go down and ask the recepcionist to recharged it) apart from de fact that one day we came late at nigth, the lifts didn't work and we had to climb twice the stairs (five floors). Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Excellent location (within walking distance from the railway station and just a few steps from the underground station), spacious room with very comfortable beds, competent staff. Remarkably good price/quality ratio.

Hotel has a very convenient location: you can walk there from Termini rail station, has a very near metro station and lots of buses stopping nearbys as well as taxis. If you travel by car, there is a car park just next to it but prices aren't low (can go up to eur 50/day if your car is judged to be "large") and the sourroundings are a limited circulation area during the day so you're forced to leave the car in the garage. Our room (a standard double) was spacious, but the furniture probably was from the 70s...the bathroom was a little better but nothing to be reminded..commond areas, instead, are very nice. We had a little problem with the in-room safe, promptly solved by the staff which has been very kind during all of our stay. Breakfast is not bad, there is everything you might expect, but I'd have expected a little more quality from a 4-star hotel. All in all, I'd suggest this hotel if you can get a special offer, otherwise, at full rate, you might want to have a look at other same class hotels.

Good hotel to stay for a few days. Only downside is.. it's a bit far from all the good sights! But then, close to Termini where you can get the bus to almost any part of the city and train (Leonardo Express) going to Fuimicino Airport.

The hotel is very well located and close from Termini station. My room was very clean and the bathroom was pretty new. The staff was very kind and willing to help customers. The breakfast was nice as well. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay for internet connection and tv.

This was a completely maintenance-free hotel stay. The staff was courteous, my room (a small single) clean and quiet. Be advised that personal internet service is 5 Euro a day, pretty standard for Italian hotels. Getting wireless is a little tricky the first time, but a snap once you learn the system. You register and pay using the in-room ethernet cable, then you call down to the desk for a wireless code, which will give you access for the next 24 hours. Make sure to disable your WiFi connection before connecting on ethernet, then enable it before entering your wireless code.

I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel, particularly the typically Italian style decorated rooms (very high ceilings (like the old Venetian villas, since it's a 19th century building), comfortable carpets everywhere, large windows with thick, red curtains and romantic, old-style shutters). Loved opening the windows in the morning and hearing the pulse of the city, people talking and motorcycles passing by, but in spite of the "noise" during the day, evenings and nights were quiet, with a cooler air in our room (in spite of the fact that we went at the beginning of June and it was quite hot during the day, except for 2 days, when it rained), suitable for getting a good rest. Rooms were very comfortable, cosy, spacious and clean, bathroom nice, with a mirror-door and all necessary facilities. The only thing that could perhaps be improved is the food-variety at breakfast (maybe some tomatoes, salads, vegetables in general), but the quality of the offered food is good, classic breakfast. The hotel’s location on Via Torino is very convenient, less than 2 minutes away from the Roman opera (Teatro dell’Opera) and you can find all amenities nearby: the lovely Via Nazionale, a taxi station, Repubblica metro station just 5 minutes away, hairstylists and so on. I would definitely recommend booking this hotel.

I thought this was an excellent hotel! The staff was quite friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and a decent size, the location was pretty good, and not very expensive. However, they were doing some renovations and it only interfered with one morning I woke up, but it was quite loud. And, I was under the impression I'd have free- wifi there but I did not, I had to pay, so that was annoying. But other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel is not to be considered as a 4-star. The room was so small that we couldn't find a place for our unique luggage, and the stuff didn't care about our request to change the room! In the morning we thought that our neighboors were in our room as we could hear them clearly spoking. The breakfast, such a pitty. The only positive point is the location; perfect to visit Roma. I'll never go back again and would not recommend the hotel to my friends.

Hotel is close to Republica metro and Termini. Next time I would stay closer to Historic center (Navona, Pantheon, Spanish steps. Hotel was clean, plenty of towels, good water pressure in shower (no tub), very quite room (good isolation). Me and my friend walked so much, so it was OK to stay there. We walked with our suitcases from termini- not a problem. One dislike- my friend came to my room for a bit- we needed to drop of souvenirs, and the bell-boy came up yelling at us that she needs to register, and she can not come in. Otherwise- reception is 24 hours, great security, safe in the room. Room pretty small, but I was there to shower and sleep. Breakfast is OK (cereal, boiled eggs, toast, some pastries, peaches, apples, yogurt, scrambled eggs).

The hotel location is excellent and the rooms were excellent. Very spacious (especially for Europe), and quiet. The only thing was that it was a bit warm in the room with no possibility to turn AC inside the room. Opening the windows at night was ok, but being Rome such a traffic city, the pollution was a nuisance if we had the windows open too long. The service at the Restaurant during breakfast was outstanding and the attitude of the guys was great. The PC at the lobby for internet access could be upgraded as it took a long time to get even a simple email through. But we appreciate the printer access next to the PC. Thanks for asking for feedback.
