Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is in a great location - close to the train station and within walking distance to all the major sites. Only down side was you needed to climb half a flight of stairs to get to the lift and I was on the 6th floor and the lift only went to the 5th. But these were minor inconveniences - for the price it was good value for money.

This was our first stay at Hotel Milo and we were very pleased with the competence and friendliness of the entire staff. Everyone made us feel "right at home" and they were extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. We will return again to Hotel Milo and recommend that you give it a try!

stanze pulite e sufficientemente spaziose. servizi pochi e di qualità bassa. nel complesso sufficiente se relazionato al prezzo (basso).

Solid Hotel close to Roma Termini and an easy walk to historical areas, metro etc. Tile floors were nice but bounced sound around a bit.

Good quality compared with price (€55 for a single room). This was my second stay, and I will probably be staying here also next time I visit Rome. You get a simple, but nice room with bathroom. No luxury, but sufficient. Not many choices for breakfast, but plenty of everything. My only complaint is the noise from the corridor (through the door, not the walls), so do remember your earplugs! (Air condition not present in my room (room 510, but this was not needed at my visit in March), can be a problem in the summer.) Do not book this hotel if you cannot walk 15 steps upwards from the ground floor. The elevator starts half-way up to the first floor. Security is very high, you have to call the door bell to access the building after 4 pm, next you have to call the bell to your floor (cameras at both doors) and finally, you have a small safe in your cupboard. I also recommend the restaurant/pizzeria "Smeraldo" just a couple of blocks away in the same streat (v. Principe Amedeo 16-18). Not an extravagant restaurant, but excellent food for a reasonable price. Other restaurants in the area are ok, but some really awful! Rome is highly recommended, despite many people and tourists (and pickpockets and beggars). Very old architecture (where else can you cross a bridge build about 50 BC which is still in regular use, and enter a building which have been in use since the second century?), but quiet parks and churches (which might have sculptures of excellent artists as e.g. michelangelo) which gives peaceful minutes and hours away from the crowd. The surroundings is not the nicest or most romantic, but the hotel is very close to buses, metro lines and trains (incl. non-stop train to the fiumicino airport), which makes it easy for travelling both for short and long trips.

This is a very nice budget hotel. If you want a central and affordable hotel in the city of Rome, Hotel Milo is a good alternativ. I was very satisfied with my stay, and would have no doubt to stay there again at some later time.

Very close from Termini station. Be cafeful - no air conditioning - there may be very hot in Rome in summer. Breakfasts were very basic. The room was clean and large.

We stayed i Rome for 3 nigts. This was my second stay at the hotell. We liked the hotell, one off the reson for this, was the location. Short way fra the trainstation, and walking distance from the tings/places we want to se in Rome. We like to come back.

All in all, this was an excellent hotel stay. Proximity to Termini was a big plus, although what shows on the map is not as easy to locate first time on the ground with the maze of hotels all around. The hotel was well kept, the rooms neat and the service proper. Staff were very welcoming and warm, and we felt well taken care of. Only problem faced was some noise from the streets at night from vehicular traffic, though this is more a feature of the Termini area. Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays in Rome.

The Milo is about 200 meters from the Santa Maria Maggiore to the west en 400 meters to Stazione Termini to the east: a perfect spot from which you can visit many directions in Rome by foot. The rooms are clean and convenient. Milo's entrance is a bit hidden, but indicated. Some employees were not friendly at all (which goes for more Roman citizens...), but others made the difference. Crazy detail: we asked for the emergency exit. The answer: under construction... All together, we enjoyed our stay in Rome and Milo supported it fairly.

We stayed at the hotel for a longer period some years ago, and the room was better, and more accessible then, though a little dark. The charm of the hotel staff varies from totally charming to charmless. It was of most use to us as a transitory stop in Rome on the way to the airport, though there are many other attractions nearby on a longer sojourn.

No A/C, thank goodness it wasn't too hot while we were there. The area surrounding the hotel is a bit seedy, but safe enough if you don't go towards the train station at night.

Overall this was a decent place to stayfor 2 nights. It would be nice if the elevator were accessible on the ground floor; otherwise, the description should mention that guests should be prepared to walk a flight of stairs. It would also be nice if the refrigerator unit functioned, and if the breakfast room staff did not loudly scold a guest for failing to see the tongs and using his fingers to pick up his own cornetto. The desk staff were always courteous.

It was a nice hotel, near by the Termini station. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nog very much, but it was enough and fine for us. The room was very clean and we didn't heard the traffic, so it was quiet. The hotel could have been closer to the Spanish steps, but we should go back in the future. We also recommend it to other people.

Location is very good and easy to find. Hotel was very convenient and we were able to walk to all the main attractions from the Hotel. It is also very close to the train station. Area around the hotel is not the best but still felt safe walking the streets at night. The breakfast was good. We stayed in March but in summer I'd say it would be uncomfortable with no air conditioning. The communal stairway with the other hotels could do with some brightening up.

This was a fine hotel in Rome near the Termini. We didn't have any trouble. The room was basic and not very big but had everything we needed. It had a safe and a fridge, good shower and even a hairdryer (although not a great one, it did the job!)As we were away all day, it didn't matter what size the room was really. The street traffic didn't bother us or keep us awake, and we slept with the window open. You have to pay €10 extra for air conditioning, but we travelled in October so it wasn't necessary. Breakfast was fine, kept us going until lunch time! The area is not great, although saying that we had no trouble. Plenty of restaurants about. Convienient to be near the metro and airport train at Termini.

I believe the relationship between price, which means expencive, and quality is really poor. This Hotel does not deserve 3 stars at all. The breakfast is good, the cleaning stuff works really nice and Termini is really close. That's all adds! I do not recommend it!

Si tratta di un modesto albergo nelle vicinanze della stazione Termini. L'ingresso è brutto e sporco, le camere accettabili, il prezzo troppo alto per il servizio offerto. Meglio cercare qualcos'altro.

great (not nice but central) location near station and S.Maria Maggiore. My single room did not make feel comfortable althgough it was VERY clean. I was there for just 2 nights that was totally ok, but I would not stay for a week or so! No cosy room to sit down in the evening to have a glass on wine. Anyway - very ok for a very short stay because the proce was xecellent for rome.

The Daytime receptionist is very cheerful, helpful e.t.c. but the Night time porter is very unhelpful - no English. The hotel is very central - 2mins walking to termini station and 12mins walking to the colloseum. Several restaurants on the street of the hotel including a lovely one under the hotel. A mini-breakfast was also included with the room each morning in a cafe across from the hotel building. It consisted of orange juice, a hot draink, toast and a pastry. I would really recomend you to try out this hotel. It is worth the money.

if it had not been for the noise from the corridor (mostly when someone tried to wake up the person(s) at the room next to mine!) and the street party by scottish football fans (kilts), i would have been satisfied with everything. the elevator starts between the ground floor and the first floor, halfway up the stairs, but that was not a problem for me. (just remember to close both the inner and outer doors in the elevator.) the room is simple, but of good quality, and satisfies my needs completely, except from the noice mentioned above. the public areas are three chairs and a table in the corridor, and equivalent to none. but for me, i sit at a cafeteria instead, and are totally satisfied. the security seems to be top priority here. you have to call the bell when you enter, next also when you enter your floor, and still, there is a security box (safe) in the room for passport, money etc. the people are always nice and smiling. the hotel is not in a beautiful area, not at all. but instead, it is close to the termini station (airport train, both metro lines and a lot of bus routes), e.g. the maria maggiore basilica and a lot of nice, good and cheap restaurants (e.g. "smeraldo" a couple of blocks down the street).

My room was located just close the reception so I woke up some times due to the racket. The elevator is not well located, therefore it is necessary to use the stairs. The breakfast is in the other side of the street and there is no information about that.

The surrounding was perfect, close to Termini. People at the reservetion desk were very nice. The room was very small but the bathroom was good. Breakfast was not good. The price of the room was too high, at most 55e should have been ok. Anyhow, it was ok for me for 4 nights. "Woman", Finland

Muchas Gracias

The welcoming and the atmosphere in this hotel are very nice. The entrance to the hotel (groundfloor) and also the "old fashion" lift are very interesting about an "historical" point of view. Moreover the hotel is perfectly located with respect to the main station.

The rooms were more spacious than expected, but the hotel is smaller than expected and is located on the first floor in a backyard. The rooms were perfectly clean but the surroundings are not so nice. Rooms to the street are pretty noisy. The elevator only started in the first floor, not in the basement, which is inapproriate for elder or handicapped people. Breakfast is served in an external Bar which is only 10 meters away.

It is very inconvenient not to be able to use the elevator from the entrance. I cannot speak English, but charge of each one was very kind.
