Hotel Milani - Rome

It is very comfortable and clear hotel, with ideal disposition for getting acquainted with Rome and for travels: The Metro and railway station Termini are quite near. The hotel personal is very friendly. My room was inough spacious. Braekfast food is inough various and testy. Mi piace! Grazie!

The room was excelent I had a triple room and it was split in 2 room with 2 beds, which was very OK, especially when you travel with children.Excelent position, near Termini station (3 minutes walking), supermarket very close, a lot of good restaurant very close , and fast food the same. Breakfast,staff,conditions - very OK. I recomend this hotel for bussines travel , also to visit Rome.

Our stay at the Milani Hotel was perfect! It was a quick stay, but the room was lovely and quite clean a must for us! The location couldn't have been better, as it was only three blocks from Termini, and we were able to walk with our suitcases quite easily. Also, the breakfast was bountiful and lovely. We would definitely stay in Milani !! Regina Restaurant !!

Excellent room with jacuzzi and very quiet air conditioning. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff who coped superbly when the coffee machine burst during breakfast and managed to keep everyone supplied while keeping the rest of the breakfast service going - and a good breakfast too. Reception were very sympathetic and helpful with advice after my wallet was stolen in the city. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel was run down. The toilet didn't flush in one of our rooms. It was cold and the rooms on the street side were excessively noisy. The neighborhood was really not great. It was on the opposit side of Termini station from all the monuments so we were constantly having to go through the station to get anywhere. The breakfast wasn't anything great, just the regular stuff, but if you didn't get the early enough things would run out and not be replaced. The staff was a but offhand and not really concerned with helping guests.

Hotel staff were very friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. Within walking distance to all major sites...two streets away from main train station...room was cosy but adequate.

Convenient for the Termine station for travel and the Metro to reach other parts of Rome. Also within walking distance to many centrally located sights, museums and shops. The staff is helpful and speaks several languages.

Staff were extremely courteous and spoke excellent English. Rooms are a decent size, you get extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe if required, shower was powerful and very hot. Self service soft drinks and snacks cheaper than street pirces, and a very impressive alcoholic drinks machine (inc. Champage flutes!) by the 5th floor bar. Location also excellent - lots of restaurants on Via dei mille RISTORANTE REGINA!!!!

Very clean, good housekeeping service, large room, excellent breakfast. This was our 3rd visit to Rome. Location of hotel was great as we could walk over to the Termini and take the subway anywhere in the city. Limited choice of restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel, but they were adequate.

This hotel is quite convenient within five minutes walk from Termini Station yet I could relax and enjoy staying there. The staff were very helpful and friendly and can communicate in English very well. The breakfast was a full breakfast and really great, greater than I expected. Considering the rate and the service provided, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Perfect for business and vacation travels to Rome

I booked 2 rooms at hotel Milani and was not disappointed.Good size rooms and so the shower.Very close to Termini station and easy to found.Very clean room and very quite.Breakfast was ok.Only one time bread was from a day before,but after 5 minutes,I did have chance to eat fresh bread.

We were at the Hotel Milani for four days at the end of October 2011 and had a very pleasant time there. The Hotel is very central for walking/ buses /trains etc for most of Rome and we were pleased with the location. It is surrounded by several extremely good Restaurants and some museums are close by too. We would recommend this Hotel to other travellers. Room 313 was very good. Beds comfortable, good bathroom and spacious. Every effort was made to make guests feel at home by the Staff. Wi-fi signal was not working to our room despite netgear box in the corridor been active. Worked very well in the Lounge area of the Hotel though.

This hotel is a well situated property that serves the budget consious traveller - one who wants great value so their $$$ can go farther - not one who would setle for a back packer's heaven. The Milani has veryknowledgeable staff who are willing to share this knowledge. The front desk folks are very helpful and care about their guests. now questiopns asked when weird requests are made. The breakfast room is fine but a bit common - food is adequate and gets tourists out with noruishing options but thbe staff are a bit edgy early in the morning. No big dedal but a smile would go a long way. We would use this hotel upon a return visit.

The hotel is at convenient location, near the Termini station. We got a room at the new wing of the hotel Milani. However, the Air-con was switched off during the entire stay by the management , and the room were be very stuffy. We tried to regulate it by opening the room windows which make it very noisy. The breakfast is soso and the staff can use a little smile every morning. Only German TV channels available.

The Milani is a gem!It is quiet and peaceful, situated in a side street only 5 minutes walk from the Termini Bus and Rail Station.This proved of enormous benefit to us, beginning with the wonderfully easy Leonardo Express airport transfer train on arrival (our first visit to Rome, and then our regular use of the Number 40 Bus which runs from Termini to the Vatican via Piazza Venezia from where it is an easy walk to the Forum, Colosseum, Trevire Fountain and other sites of interest. As our time was short we elected to take a taxi from the Hotel to the airport on our last day, but, on reflection - if time is not pressing - I would recommend the much cheaper option of buying a shuttlebus transfer return ticket (15 Euros). This can even be bought on the EasyJet plane.The shuttlebus arrives and departs from a location 2 minutes' walk from the Milani, so it could not be simpler! The Hotel Milani is clean and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming (unlike so many of the reviews I have read of Rome hotels!). Our room was perfectly spacious, well equipped and comfortable for the price.It was immaculately cleaned each day and all used towels changed daily. Breakfast consisting of both hot and cold food was ample. Our advice for a weekend visit is to avoid the Vatican on Sunday as the Museum is closed for 3 out of 4 Sundays, and entrance to the Basilica is after 2 p.m. if the Pope is holding an audience. A reasonably short walk beyond the Colosseum brings you to the spectacular Baths of Caracalla - well worth a visit. Travel by bus was easy and extremely convenient. We each bought a 3 day pass - very cheap - but noticed nobody else (other than tourists) using tickets. Queues built up very early at the Vatican and I would suggest visiting the Basilica and the Museums/Sistine Chapel after midday on 2 separate days (possibly visiting Fort St Angelo in the morning). Certainly if time permits I would advise booking a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and also

We stayed in Rome 6 nights at the Milani. The room was clean and spacious. The location is excellent. Our main complaint is the VERY slow elevator. The breakfast also could be a bit richer for example a greater variety of cheeses and sausages would be in place. The staff is friendly and helped us a lot. One night stay. Close to Roma termini station (3 mins walk). Helpful staff. Secure luggage storage, we arrived early one morning off a sleeper train before our room was ready, and they were quite happy to look after the luggage for the day. Also looked after it the day we left. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Proximity to railroad and M makes this a perfect choice. Good restaurants in area and easy to move to center for other eating locations. This is our second stay.

The hotel is very good relative to others in the same area of Rome and generaly speaking about the city. one small sugest - no carpets in rooms can be cold in low temperature and the internet conection to be paid - at the price of room can be free.

Hotel directions from railway station very good. For a three star hotel the breakfast was excellent, for choice and variance.

I spent 3 days at this hotel while in the area on business. The staff couldn't be more accommodating! They were happy to make copies, send faxes and take messages for me. This hotel is very attractive. We used the conference room and several people stayed at the hotel. I thought the prices were reasonable for the rooms. Nice breakfast in the morning, and the hotel was clean, quite and comfortable. Service as for 3 stars hotel was excellent.

Rested in the hotel on August 2011. We lived in a standard room, nice bathroom, no flaws in it there was, all clean and tidy. Room is very cozy and nice to be ... A single word about the breakfast! We enjoyed eating there for 4 days , the kitchen is excellent, we tried almost everything and no way disappointed, but on the contrary, simply Yum) You can sit quietly, relax, socialize in a pleasant atmosphere. Nice and buono cappucino!

I was on a business trip to Rome, resided at this hotel. Good service, all calm and quiet, excellent staff. Just wanted to tell apart the excellent breakfast and restaurant Mino, which is located right 2 mins from the hotel Milani, very tasty and great service!

I am permanently stayed at this hotel. Its a quiet, cozy place. The most convenient is location which is closed to bus point, Metro and train station, so suitable, within reach to city center. Hotel service wasn't expensive but really comfortable. I advise everyone who goes to Rome as a tourist or for business trip.

In our honey moon we went to Rome! We put up at hotel Milani. The hospitality there was excellent. The room we had, was fantastic, so comfortable and extra clean. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Indeed, we didn’t pay that much. We wanted to take a taxi to reach to Coliseum, but the hostess at desk has directed us going by foot 2 mins to Termini and we easy got to bus. For us, this romantic trip was really value for money! We will come back there again in our next holiday.

Mostly, satisfied. Especially for the price. The internet connection was poor. And the staff didn't correspond to this correctly. Otherwise, this is a satisfying hotel to stay in Rome.

The hotel was very nice, large bedroom, bathroom spotless, spacious and well lit, clean towels and sheets. It has good location but the environment is not pretty. The indication of the hotel for dinner was very good. Close to Termini station, it was easy out for walks.

Twas a 2- night stay on way to San Giovanni Rotondo. Nice hotel, location was ok since we needed to get the fast train to Foggia. Room was ok except it was the hardest bed I've slept in-- started my low back pain again. Their restaurant recommendation was not the best--- the buffet at the Roma Termini was so much better, hot and tasty pasta dish... I forgot about the breakfast.

I found my self in a very nice hotel this time on my last business trip in Rome. It is clean, well-conditioned room. Bath with hidro-massage, it made me relax after long time conference. I really enjoyed my stay and apreciate the great service at HOTEL MILANI!!!

Milani is greatest hotel ever! We are from America. We have stayed in Rome for the first time and we got so impressed of service in hotel by italians*(complements)- nice people on reception, good comprehentable English. Fresh new rooms, air-condition modifiable inside the room, great breakfast-there was a lot of things, so we didn't get hungry till 2 p.m. Location was perfect for us to move as tourists, it is closed to railway station Termini and bus points. If you search hotel to stay: clean, great multilingual service, good full breakfast and perfect location, closed to city center- Hotel MILANI is the best choose.

Great 3 star hotel - it actually is a more than 3 star to me I stayed in Milani 5 days with my family. It is a very lovely hotel. Our room was ambience, nice and very fresh-clean. I liked the design, sweet and comfy. The staff at reception is very approachable. Great provided service all 24 hours. American breakfast was real abundant of many different food. The location is strategic and nice, just 5 mins walk from train station Termini, near to shopping street and easy to get to the historical center of Rome. It is really a lovely place and I would definitely visit back again. it is like a 3 1/2 to a 4 start hotel to me.

Very well placed. The reception is not very nice but the room is little but very confortable and new. Breakfast ok. Price reasonable for the stantards in Rome. I will recommend to my friends!

Handy location on the nicer side of Termini and very close to the supermarket in Piazza Independenza. Room was spacious and staff were competent. Wifi for a fee (these days this should be free). Main negative was the noise. You could hear clearly what was happening outside the room and doors closing etc, although not toilets flushing like in some hotels. One morning we were woken up by an annoying American woman abusing her friends or family through the door because they were late for breakfast. Although in this case you probably need to blame the guest for showing a complete lack of consideration for others.

A hotel in a convenient location just near the main railway station and the bus station which made getting around Rome easy. Nice breakfast. Staff were helpful but could have been a bit more personable.

Bed is to hard. Breakfast is not good. Rest is ok.

We stayed for one night,rooms are really small but clean.Great breakfast and the staff was friendly,only problem we had was when it was time to pay at check out the clerk charged us for things we didn't even use like the telephone and when we brought the mistake to his attention he had attitude when helping to solve it...would return only cos its near the termini and cost wise its not bad.

Pleasantly surprised with hotel's overall value with prices paid. Excellent location with just 2 blocks away from Termini. Quiet and safe neighborhood with lots of great little restos around the area. For the price paid, breakfast was excellent! Staff were friendly, helpful, competent and speaks good English.

This Hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it and it provides a good breakfast. It is located close to termini and all public transpot. However we walked all of Rome and did not use public transport therefore; if i was to do it again I would stay around colleseum rather than termini for the convenience and close locality of all attractions.

There are loads of hotels in Rome. Milani was one of many it is OK there is nothing special about nor is there anything wrong with it. Breakfast not great pretty much every thing was just OK

We spent our honey moon in hotel Milani, it was amazing! Staff helped me to find where to rent car and flower-service at a very good price, and organize our beautiful walking in center. It was pleasure to met another couple from Australia in hotel, who just got married in Rome also. We felt in love with Rome - via Nazionale, fontana di Trevi, Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, ect. As our first time in Rome, this trip will remember forever)))

We stayed in very beautiful double room, spacious inside, large bed and huge bathroom tub. "Milani" has collaboration with restaurant "Mino" which is on same street by, we went there many times, they gave us great offer of 8.50 euros for the lunch and 15 euros for the dinner as well. We found cuisine tasty and super quality of the Italian wines. Its really Reasonable price of double room-included full breakfast.

I stopped in hotel Milani for the two nights, I found my self in a real good place. What is really impressed and took my attention was cleanness of the room where I stayed. I felt at home. Bed dresses was so fresh. Bathroom was excellent. The photos of the rooms which presented on web-site are real. Its reasonable taking Breakfast included. This quiet, family-run hotel Milani has a nice entrance with european flags in top, it s difficult not to notice it. The location is real posted well, closed to the Termini, train and city-chain bus stations, that i found comfortable to get my direction to the sights. A hall decorated with fresh flowers and reproduction antiques and Oriental rugs leads to a breakfast room. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, there was alot of TV chanals of SKY in the room, well function Wi-FI. A water taxi has deposited us directly in front of the hotel on arrival, and the assistance helped us to carry luggages. We have booked a tour from reception desk, we really enjoyed the visit of Vatican city, It helped us to escape crowded at the entrance. It was real Exceptional service, they made us feel at home. I would like to note- High degree of personal service; great location of Rome to stay, tasty feed breakfast and clean rooms.

Perfect location in proximity to the station for travelers coming and going by train. Is clean and friendly, has no pretensions, and is in quiet street. What more can you ask?

My personal experience at this hotel was very good! Our room was nicely decorated, quite and really clean. The location was strategic because the hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and the relationship between price and quality was perfect!

The hotel is only 5-10 min walk from Termini. However, the instruction provided by the hotel on how to get there was poor. We spent a lot of time finding our way after getting out of the station at Piazza dei Cinquecento. In fact, if you exit at Via Marsala instead of Piazza dei Cinquecento, you can easily find the street Via Vicenza. Room and beds were clean. There was a charge for using the internet, but the wirelss connection was not good. The breakfast was nice with quite a lot of choices. It definitely worths its price. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Wir waren sehr überrascht vom Hotel Milani. Hatten Bedenken wegen der Bahnhofslage ( Termini ) aber in der Seitenstrasse war es sehr ruhig und abends auch sehr sicher, Vorteile der Airportshuttle ist in 5 Minuten zu erreichen ( kostet 8 Euro ) und es gibt viele Geschäfte im Termini, die auch Sontags geöffnet haben. Metro und alle Busse fahren ab Termini. Frühstück war auch für Italien sehr gut, bis auf Saft und Kaffee, den man aus dem Automat bekommt, Deshalb beim Personal einen Espresso oder Cappuccino bestellen.Das Zimmer ( Dreibett-Zimmer ) war groß genug und das Bad war sehr sauber,immer frische Handtücher. Tipp an das Hotel !!! Die Tür zum Gepäckraum sollte leiser schließen und nicht knallen, was bei der Nachtruhe ein wenig gestört hat. Trotzdem ist das Hotel wegen der Lage und des guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ohne Bedenken zu empfehlen.

We chose this hotel partly because of the high rating of their breakfasts and agrees that this gives a good start for a full day of sight seeing in Rome. Over all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Mino Restaurant 10 !! Fantastic !!!

I have stayed at many of the hotels close to Termini Station when scheduled to fly out of FCO early the next morning. Hotel Milani is by far the most convenient and comfortable. The beakfast is better than OK, if you eat big in the AM. I give the coffee a 6, but it is very easy to walk a short block and find a better cup. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I doubt that I will ever stay anywhere else when making a quick trip to Rome.

I travelled with my family of three and we had 2 rooms, we took the double superior rooms. The accomodation was good, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were large. the air-condition was not too great so the room was a bit hot. The electricity was turned off when you left the room so you usually came back to a hot room, even the fridge went off. Everything on the TV was in Italian with no subtitles. The staff at the Milani were wonderful and friendly. All in all the stay was quite good and I would recommend this hotel to visitors, you are in walking distance to the Termini and all the places of interest.

Milano is close to the train station and reasonably comfortable. They have a computer you can use to reach the internet and the breakfasts are great.

At the first glance the room seemed to be perfect for 65€/night. It looks very nice and modern. But after 2 nights of staying one could be dissatisfied because of following negative things: - not properly working shower - automatic/electronic door locks are fine, but one can hear everyone who is going to breakfast in the morning slamming the door -> very annoying - internet wasn't for free but the most annoying thing was that it wasn't working properly - breakfast was for extra money 10€/p.P, which is ways to much!! positive things: - location close to the main station, very convenient - rooms nice decorated and modern. - rooms always clean which probably was due to the russian speaking cleaning lady who obviously took her job very seriously. - hotel staff friendly and always keen on helping Altogether in my opinion this hotel doesn't deserve to be a 3-star hotel. 2 Stars should be ok though

Excellent Hotel - staff were friendly and competent. Hotel Milani is some way from the airport, but then so are most of the hotels. It's about a 50 Euro taxi ride to and from the airport.

The hotel very easy access, it located next to the train & bus station. But breakfast was very very poor, served with low quality coffee and food, very disappointed.

This was our first visit to Rome and we centered our stay at the Milani as our base. We travelled to Sorrento,Capri Florence and returned to the Milani each time. Its location to the Rome Termini is perfect and allowed easy access to the airports. We travelled to the Rome Termini by train when we arrived and took the bus back when leaving Italy - never chance the Bus and roads - after leaving by bus with 4 hours before departure we only just made our flights! This included the bus driver stopping just outside the Vatican for a 10 min cigarette break! Having travelled to America and New York last year the Milani rooms were spacious/comfortable - although the beds could be a bit softer. Staff were always friendly. One suggestion for breakfast - we had breakfast many times and were looking for some variety - fried eggs one morning and scrambled the next day; not a criticism just a suggestion

While I did stay at Hotel Milani the week before and was very satisfied, for my and my companions' second stay we were forced to move to a sister hotel, Hotel Galles, which was inferior by comparison. The rooms usually cost 10 Euros less, but they did not give us a discount. Do not go to Galles! The air conditioning was barely blowing, the bathroom water is not drinkable, the "free" wifi did not work, the breakfast was inferior, and the safe was broken. A bad way to end a vacation.

It was not actually a triple room that they offered us. It was,in fact, sort of a suite with twin beds and then they put extra bed which was not quite fit to the position. At first I thought it was because of the price (119 euro) which, perhaps, we should not complain. But when I went to stay in Milan, it was 120 euro per night (just one more euro to pay) but it was a lot better. The direction on the web also confused us. We were almost lost. Termini is a huge station with many exits, the direction should be indicated a bit more clearly.Breakfast was okay. The staff at reception, some were very kind and helpful while some didn't seem to be willing to help.

The room itself is nice and comfortable. Clean and spacious for double bed standard. Bathroom is quite standard to other Rome hotels. Termini station is 5 minutes by slow walk.

Excellent location close to Termini. Good value for money. No luxury, but that´s not what I was looking for. Basic, clean and nice hotel where I could stay again.

I appreciated very much the staff, friendliness and a warm and welcoming attitude. I felt " at home" ! I like the fact that rooms were clean, and the Hotel is on a side street which makes it a little more quiet than on the main streets.Very close to Termini Station easy to move around the city.

In viaggio di lavoro a Roma, ho veramente apprezzato il soggiorno nell'hotel. La stanza era pulita, calda e spaziosa (avendo chiesto una singola mi è stata data una doppia uso singolo). Anche il bagno era spazioso e accogliente. Il buffet della collazione conteneva l'indispensabile per una collazione sia continentale che inglese. Comunque una maggiore varietà di scelta sarebbe auspicabile. Complessivamente l'esperienza è stata più che positiva e ha avuto anche il vantaggio di un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
