Hotel Meeting - Gregna di Sant'Andrea, Rome

This hotel is very far from the city center. It is very close to Ciampino airport, and a taxi ride can run (for us) 20-30 euros. The staff was very helful; providing maps and directing us to the bus stop across the street. You can take the bus (about 15-20 mins) to the metro, and ride all over the city. The metro stop is at the beginning of the A line, and about 40-45 mins to the Vatacan stop. The bathroom was a bit cramped, and the toilet was very close to the wall. Breakfast is included (10 euros if you take it to your room) and included: coffee, tea, water, 2/3 juices, milk, 2 lunchmeats (ham & salami, I think)(swiss?) cheese, 3 cereals, 2-3 pastries, (canned)fruit cocktail, and you can order cappucino (for a charge, I think) from the coffee bar by the checkin desk. There's a small bar next to the front desk, and they have a small menu of pastas and soups they can cook for you for 8-10 euros. There's a small sit-down restuarant close by, and 2 pizzarias also within walking distance. This hotel is in an industrial area, and we couldn't find any shops nearby. We weren't in Rome to be in our hotel, so this is a great place to sleep and eat breakfast, then see the sights of the city. You can purchase a metro pass for 5 days,I believe it was 11 euro, and this also includes the bus.

Suprisingly quiet hotel given its location close to the airport and the main road. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, in a remote area with very few restaurants.

We stayed at the Hotel Meeting for one night as we arrived late at Ciampino airport and decided it would be easier to travel into Rome centre the next day. We were very pleased with the accomodation and the service we received. On arrival at the airport we rang the hotel and they provided a shuttle bus to pick us up, they also took us to the metro station the next morning for our journey to the city centre. There is a charge for this service, but we felt this a better option after hearing horror stories of taxi fares. Our room was excellent with a beautiful bathroom and breakfast next morning was buffet style with plenty to offer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an overnight stop, but it is a little far out for visiting Rome centre.

Although this was only a couple kilometers from the airport, it was very isolated from the simple things like a place to have dinner. Nothing was in walking distance without walking down the side of a busy street that had no sidewalks. The TV wouldn't work since the remote was broken and we had to wait until the next shift came in to fix it. We stayed there since it had shuttle service to the airport and we had a very early flight. Unfortunately, our reservation was not recorded correctly and we had to wait for an employee to come and shuttle us in her car. All worked out well, but we would not stay there again and take the chance of missing a flight.

Unfortunately, although we had received a confirmatory email from venere.com, the hotel had no record of our reservation and we were put into a room usually meant for employees of the hotel. It was adequate but when we first arrived we were told they were full, causing much distress (it was nearly midnight). The only taxi we could find to the hotel cost 30 euros from the airport.

The stay at the hotel was good but I feel you need a better quality of directions from the airport as it was only by sheer luck we found the hotel ater half an hour driving around ciampino lost.

Everything OK in this hotel, except for the walls. You can't hear the planes from the nearby airport but you can sure hear the people in the room next door talking.

The hotel accomodation was just fine. The only problem was that taxi drivers at Ciampino did not know where the hotel was!

Located on an industrial estate,and without restaurant facilities except breakfast,would conider somewhat over priced. However the transfer service to/from airport and metro was much appreciated. Gneral atmosphere within hotel pleasant.

The room is cleaned and it is up to 3 star standard room. It is not that noise for the room near airport. However, the room is quite expensive which required 110 Euro in the remote area. And we are not sure how far it is from the Ciampiano airport. I notice that it is 2m from airport in Internet,however, the hotel booklet shows that it is 2km and the hotel operator said that it is 5km. Therefore, we took a taxi which cost 17 Euro to airport for 5 minutes, actually it is quite expensive. In addition, the breakfast is not so good, it just has a crossiant and a cup of coffee. I think full breakfast can be provided for this room price.
