We feel at home, the hotel is very nice. However, breakfast was not included and in my opinion was a little expensive.

We were late in booking and paid a premium price (more than a 4 star hotel we stayed in when we first arrived in Rome). Reasonable tourist class hotel - clean but a bit old and run-down. Would stay again for a better rate.

Marco Polo was just what we needed, a base to sleep. Very close to Termini station but far enough from the trafic noise. A few cracks in the walls, lift is small, the window view was nothing, hotel is on the third floor (take the lift) but the room was clean, air conditioned, fridge worked, hotel and room were secure and the Hotel was excellently positioned (close to Termini station). Staff were helpfull, breakfast was reasonable. Recommend staying if you are sighseeing and using as a base to sleep. There is an excellent snack food and wine shop, run by a lovely african lady just next door to the hotel and at least 2 restaurants in the street.

The attention was excellent. Clean rooms. Location was excellent! really near to Termini station. Breakfast was regular (not too many options). The air conditioner was not included in the 3x room (They request 5 extra € per day to use it)

I think there are better hotels to stay. it was not very clean and the breakfast was bad...in one morning i had to ask them to go buy bread because there was only flakes avaiable at 9am!!! the rooms are small...but it is well placed, near the station, but is not the only one.

Location ideal 2min walk from termini. breakfast was of a good quality. Hotel looked as if redecoration ongoing. Good places to eat within close proximity. Overall the stay was average.

The hotel location was indicated on the map a little far for its actual location, but it was easy to find anyway, and very close to Termini. The single room was small but cozy, and breakfast was varied. A good impression, on the whole.

I have been to Hotel Marco Polo 3 times. It's just a few minutes walk from the station, so it's ideal if you travel by train. It's clean and has new furniture and bathrooms.

Good location if you need to be near Termini Station. Our airconditioning did not work, the staff member working at breakfast was very grumpy when customers asked for extra food that had run out. Rome is a very expensive city with regards to accommodation and I think this hotel was a bit overpriced for the standard that we received. The cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved too.

Great base for exploring Rome. The main bus & train station is just around the corner but the hotel is on a quietish side street. The hotel is compact, basic, and clean with nice friendly staff. No kettle in room which was annoying as the website said it's included - and a cup of tea from Reception was 2 Euros.

The only thing positive I can say about this property is its location to the Rome Termini, the bathroom was full of mould, it was old & dirty.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Marco Polo. The breakfast was great and there was never a line to wait. We walked right in at 7:00am. The employees were friendly and helpful and we really liked the airport transportation too! It's in an excellent location, near the Termini train station. We would definitly stay here again! :-)

We booked a family room and there was no air conditioning because it was not working. We were provided a fan that was weak at best. The noise level outside did not allow us ot leave the window open for air circulation. The price of the room was high compared to renting an apartment. I would consider the room a one star at best. Comparable to a motel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marco Polo. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They helped us in every way possible and were very approachable. The rooms were quite small and the airconditioning a bit warm. But then again, who cares, as we are out almost the whole day. The best thing about it is it is a few minutes away from the train station and bus station, which makes it all the more convenient. A good hotel for a 3 star quality.

We can't recommend this place at all. We had booked the Family Room for the 5 of us six months in advance, but upon arrival it turned out the room had already been given to a party of 6. We were put in a room designed for 3 (at the most). They had crammed additional beds into the room, which left barely enough space for one single chair and none for us to put our luggage or walk without having to step over each other. We complained to the clerk, who could only offer to give us another equally cramped room and obviously felt personally offended when we didn't like the situation, which caused him to behave in a very inmature way for the rest of our stay. Our request to at least lower the price was not met. The breakfast room of this hotel is more like a breakfast walk-in closet and seats 8. You get to wait in line in the reception area if it is occupied. Anything good to say about the hotel? Yeah, the chambermaid and the night shift clerk are very friendly.

This hotel provided an excellent cost:quality ratio. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children who were accommodated in one room at a very ggod rate. The staff were vry helpful and courteous. This review is based on the price to quality relationship.

Marco Polo is a reasonable hotel for a short stay in Rome. It is on the third floor of the building a few minutes away from the Terminii station. The room was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. There is a good restaurant next to the hotel. Would stay there again.

The location of this hotel couldn't have been better - a block away from the main train station where we caught trains or buses to wherever we were going that day. The rooms were pretty much what we expected for the price - the quad was actually quite roomy. The staff were absolutely fantastic - especially Diego and Salvatore - they helped us with everything we asked for and more. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning - for some reason it never really cooled the room and in July/August it was brutally hot and we needed a place to cool off. I mentioned it to Diego and that night we had a fan in our room which helped a great deal. Overall, our stay was great! We would stay here again but probably in a cooler month!

This hotel, like all other Rome hotels, is overpriced. It is easily reachable from the train station by foot. The breakfast was good for a two star hotel. While not in close proximity to any of the major attracions, it is near the bus depot in front of the station and the subway.

This was a nice, small hotel with friendly staff. it is not an elite and fancy hotel, but is perfect for someone wanting something small, clean, welcoming and close to the centre. I would stay here again.

It's not a 5starhotel but it's quite good hotel. The location is perfect to go whatever you want in Rome because is close to central station (Termini) so you can take a bus, trams, subway just right there. The breakfast is poor. But in general is ok, a little bit expensive but ok.

This is a two-star hotel, so you're not going to get anything fancy. But the staff is friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. The rooms are meticulously clean, although ours was small. The overall experience was excellent, and we would go there again.

There is only one review. The hotel empoyes have difficult to differentiate between given (first) name and Familiy name. It took us quite a time to figure iut that we were booked under may first name Franz!. My be you can improve your web site description for Italien providers. The mistake was not caused by an erroneous entry from us. Sincerely Franz Hofmann

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno molto sereno. La posizione del albergo permete un buon collegamento con tutta la città. Anche se da fuori non sembra un bel posto, il interno del albergo e una bellissima sorpresa e le camere sono molto acoglienti, intime.

Thanks for your site. I don't know how I could find a hotel that I needed without such detail info. It would be great if you could change your site so that it could work faster. Sometimes it is like frozen. Maybe it is just because I use this site from the USA. Thanks again. Olga.
