Alergen Free Experience. Big Rooms , No-smoking Big and Well decorated. Nicola is a great Receptionist and will help you with everything, specially if you`re portuguese speaking. The breakkfast is awesome. Very near downtown just walk to piazza navigatore and take the bus. For the price it`s the best hotel you can get. We were very pleased.

The directions listed on the confirmation were extremely poor..We arrived by train, and it simply told us to take the Garbetella exit, with no other directions...We expected the hotel to be very near the station, yet it was not.

Our room was quite charming. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast offered gave a good start for our day. The directions to the hotel could have been better. Basically you get off the boat, take a right on the street in front of you and keep walking until you see the sign pointing the direction for the hotel. The hotel will be a block down that road on the left side. There are not any other signs, so you need to look for the address (or take a picture with you). Lido is fun to explore but we did not find any restaurants, other than pizzarias. There are no public spaces except for the dining room and an outside dining area.

Liked the place very much. The room was of generous size for a Roman hotel, the staff was friendly and competent. Overall, an excellent experience. I would highly recommend the place to fellow travellers to Rome. An excellent value for the $.

Het is even uitzoeken hoe je van het vliegveld naar deze accommodatie moet komen en evenzo vanuit dit hotel naar de binnenstad van Rome. De metro is niet voldoende, aansluitend moet je nog een bus nemen. De omgeving van het hotel is inderdaad erg rustig, en het is heerlijk koel tijdens de warme dagen. Het ontbijt is erg eenvoudig voor hollandse begrippen, andere maaltijden hebben wij er niet genoten. Wij zijn er als echtpaar drie nachten verbleven, met de intentie het nodige van Rome te bekijken. Hiertoe voldeed dit hotel ruim voldoende.

I did look at the ratings before I chose Casa Domitilla. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel and Venere for bookings. One feature, which was not available throughout Italy was an elevator. We slept 3 in our room - 3 twin beds and unfortunately 5 suite-cases +. It made the room a little tight, but was manageable. Lesson learned ... Travel through Italy with less baggage. We also were very fortunate that every need we needed (we traveled with 11 family members) was met. We stayed 3 days and traveled throughout Rome by public bus system. We did use the cabs late at night. (One night, the rotation of 3 filled buses ... we decided to get a cab). The office staff (spoke English) was more than helpful and gave us good tips. I suggest ... don't be shy ... ask questions. The only area I can not speak on is dinner (we did smell the aroma one night - it smelled wonderful) ... we never made it back in time ... Breakfast was plentiful and the granola served was wonderful. Your choices are breakfast cereals, fresh baked croissants (if your lucky you might get a filled one), bread, toast, slices of cheese & meat, choice of juices, milk, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. Compared to different places we stayed in Rome, this was a wonderful surprise.

Quite, clean, close parking area, but you need some luck to find a place after 11.00 pm - small bathroom

Très bien situé, dans un beau quartier de Rome, près du transport en commun. L'hotel est propre et calme. La carte devrait cependant indiquer qu'il faut sortir à la Piazza dei Navigatori, ce qui nous aurait permit de trouver l'hotel très facilement. Nous aurions aimé avoir le service de demi-pension qui n'est cependant pas toujours disponible, mais pour le reste, tout était excellent.

I was very pleased indeed with the accomodation and services provided by Casa Domitilla. I thought the price was very reasonable for the high quality accomodation. The staff were extremely helpful at all times. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city but there is a good bus service - good clear information is provided at the hotel reception and tickets can be bought from there.

We had an overall excellent stay. The only thing we missed was the restaurant was not serving, a minor inconvenience. We will definitely stay there on our next trip.

Whilst the standard given by the maids and other 'hidden' staff was exceptional. The reception staff were mute, unhelpful and more interested in private telephone conversations on both mobile and hotel phones.

Casa Domitilla is an excellent facility at a reasonable price. Although it is somewhat outside of the city center, since I am a frequent visitor to Rome and have become accustomed to taking public transportation, I enjoy every stay at Casa Domitilla. It is comfortable, quiet and very clean.

The hotel standard was very good for the price offered. We could recomend this hotel to friends.

The hotel is run by nuns, the centre can be reached easily by local buses, the place is suitable for car travellers as it has a free parking lot in the garden. We were very satisfied with our stay in this hotel.
