The shower is not comfortable at all, for us,that we are tall people, it was really difficult to shower straight. Also, as you take a normal shower, if you are not carefull, all the water will flow out to the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast was not that good at all, just toast, cookies, mermelade, and coffee.

may be we were unlucky with room - our friends received for the same price a bigger one with bath. Our room (107) was smaller, may be the smalliest one in this hotel. One more negative thing: you can hear toilet noises of your neighbors too good. But positive: very friendly, helpful personal, breakfast ok, good surroundings. All in all: nice hotel with family ambient

A good solution in a quiet part of Rome (10 minutes to Vatican City). Maybe use of bus is a bit difficult buy there's the metro stop. Welcomming was good and also the rooms where we stayed. Maybe a bit small, but very clean. Price was a bit high, even though breakfast was included. A good stay, I recommend it.

The hotel is in a great location near the Vatican but farther away from the other big attractions though still easy to go to. The double room was a little small for two young females! The modern look and feel to the hotel was definitely cool!

We arrived in Rome very late at night and had e mailed to notify the hotel of this. It was the reason why we chose a 24 hour hotel. Luckily we had read previous reviews regarding guests difficulty in accessing this hotel at night. When we arrived we could not get any response from the doorbell for a very long time and got quite panicky about the situation. Eventually after ringing all the doorbells on the street door someone eventually released the door lock and we were able to enter. We then discovered that Hotel Guiggioli doesn't actually exist - its called Hotel Dei Quiriti so we weren't even sure if we were in the correct place. We were shown to our room by a very disgruntled lady in her nightie and slippers who didn't speak any English ! Things did improve and we found the hotel very functional, clean and well placed in a quiet area very close to the Vatican with lovely shops and cafes nearby. Also the metro and buses very close and easy to use for all areas. The city tour bus is great to get ones bearings - dont get it at Termini as chaotic queues and intimidating. Beware pickpockets in this area and on the metro itself.

Nice Hotel, but they had not reserved the room, so we had to change hotel (more central but louder and more expensive). They had told us that a client went ill but because we arrived late (20.00h) we think that they had given the room to another person. A pitty!

Interestingly, the name of the hotel was not displayed outside the property; thankfully the street number was! The front door was answered promptly and we were made very welcome, despite arriving not long before midnight. We dropped our bags, went out and found La Pratolina, a pizzeria just around the corner, where we were made to feel honoured guests, the service was excellent and the food the best value for money we ate all weekend.

"Giuggioli" was found to be under a different hotel name when we tried to locate the hotel. Reception lady spoke little english but we managed somehow. Room was quite small and dim, ceilings were peeling from water seepage and shower room was choked. No cable TV available. Breakfast was simply coffee, biscuit and one bun with jam/butter. Hotel is a good 15-20 minutes walk from tube but quite near Vatican City as promised.
