Hotel Giotto Flavia Sallustio - Rome

Staff were brilliant. Very helpful, welcoming and patient. Rooms were good standard for the price. Unusual for Rome everything worked including the lift! Good continental breakfast. Some noise from road but this is in a city so noise to be expected. Surrounded by good restaraunts. Would stay here again for certain

It was the first time, but have in the sommer 2010 been at the other hotel in the same building and with the same reception. I stayed 2 days. Very very good hotel with fine rooms at a low price.

The hotel Giotta Flavia Sallustio was what I expected, we have been to Rome before. It was fine for us, not too close to the tourist beat, but close enough to walk where we wanted to go.

Elevator and entrance would require proper refurbishment. TV out of service and not repaired during my 3 days stay.

The hotel is quite close to the railway station. The room was quite small with quite old fittings. The breakfast was not very good. Staff were quite friendly. Bill had to be paid in cash as card machine line was not "working"

The first room we get was small and dark and the water in the bathroom was only cold must of the time. We wereoffered a larger room after two nights for the same price. Then the water was warm too. We are very satisfied. We want to recommend the restaurant Flavia in the same street.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the location was good particularly for our needs. I found the staff at the reception not too courteous as they did not even offer to help with luggage. The buffett breakfast was poor, very little selection and the coffee was machine brewed. The eating area was very small, only four tables. The one thing which bothered me about the hotel was that every time we wished to enter the premises you had to ring a bell and wait for someone to open. Despite the above negative comments, the hotel suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable for the price. Good air conditioning (something that is hit or miss in Italy).

I found this hotel to be unimpressive in every way. The rooms were old and ratty. The bathroom had mold everywhere and the wallpaper was peeling off. The television did not work. The towels were never replaced in the three days we were there. The breakfast provided was very basic. Nothing fresh. Prepackaged pastries, toast and yogurt were available. We were traveling as a family of four and needed two rooms so we went to a more economical location than we would usually book. We will not do that again. The staff was nice and relatively helpful but overall this was not a place I would ever stay in again.

Quality vs Price ratio is very good for Rome ... but is nevertheless very expensive for service provided and room.

Very clean, reasonable prices and very convenient for the centre of Rome.

The Giotto Flavia may not look like much from the street, but I found it to be quite acceptable. The room was decent sized and well cooled with the AC. The location was good and the staff was helpful and friendly.

We visited this hotel In June 2005. We read some generally positive reviews here and decided to give it a go. This place looks more like a pension than an outright hotel. It's really tiny with some 15 rooms or so. The personnel was extremely nice and professional. The room we were bogen was spacious, quiet and clean. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to make day trips around rome (very close to the Termini station). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Rome, IF you intend to spend very little time in your room!

Our stay at the hotel was fine. The location was great for walking around Rome, and very close to good restaurants.We had a very large corner room that was great,clean with everything we needed.It looks like everything had been renovated recently and was very modern.

Petit hôtel occupant le deuxième étage avec 14 chambres, situé dans une rue tranquille, aucun bruit provenant de l'extérieur. Chambres spacieuses avec tout le confort requis. Le petit déjeûner se prend dans un petit local où seulement 4 tables de 2 personnes sont disponibles. Je vous conseille cet hôtel

A good choice overall.

We chose the "Giotto Flavia" hotel because of its reasonable rates and the relatively short distance to Termini train station. It was a good choice. The hotel is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly and it is situated in a quiet neighborhood.
