Hotel Farnesina - Rome

A little far from the centre of Rome, but a very nice hotel. However, very near the Olympic Stadium. I recommend it.

Farnesina was clean and room was ok but receptionist was very brusque and unwelcoming. Room was ok for a couple of nights but no storage for any longer. all in all not much more than a B&B and 4 star hotel prices.

A convenient, afordable and comfortable hotel, with easy (5 min walk) and frequent connection to the city centre.

A very pleasant hotel to stay in, so comforable, selection of breakfast just excellent. Staff so good and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommended it to friends etc. Catherine, Colleen, Sheena, Karen. Wexford Ireland.

A convenient quiet hotel, very pur, with a friendly and competent personal. Good traffic-connection to the centrum. The sorounding of the hotel, the district FARNESINA, offers a lot of good restaurants an bars. Its good living there.

Il riscaldamento dell'Hotel non era in funzione nonostante il clima rigido di quei giorni (anche sotto zero). Ho protestato chiedendo una riduzione del corrispettivo per via della mancata climatizzazione. Dopo insistenze ho ottenuto uno sconto di soli 10 euro a notte. Mi aspettavo di più. Struttura comunque accogliente.

Buon albergo, pulito, ben collegato, a pochi passi dallo stadio olimpico.

La prenotazione non è stata confermata. Al momento dell'arrivo della data indicata la camera non disponibile. La prenotazione era stata trasferita in un Hotel lontano da dove io desideravo. Pessimo servizio

Hotel molto pulito con personale gentile e disponibile .E' un po' distante dalle principali mete della citta'ma i trasporti non mancano .

Nous avons apprécié l'hôtel et ses environs, ses petits restaurants, son animation: un quartier romain qui n'est pas vraiment touristique mais qui a du charme.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for, a modestly priced hotel close to the tennis at the Foro Italico. The two main drawbacks are distance from the centre of Rome and difficulty of finding it! It took 2 hours for a resident of Rome who picked us up from Ciampino to get us to the hotel. We got the hotel to book us a car to get us back to the airport and this turned up 40 minutes late and then took 1 hour 15 minutes to get tot he airport, not the suggested 40-45 minutes. So the message here is check all arrangements in good time - ask not 'have you booked the car' but 'can you ring them and ask them when it is expected'. Bearing that in mind, we would stay there again!

This was an amazing hotel... very clean and funky rooms. The staff was excellent... the breakfast was great. Amazing for the price... the only downside was that it was a little hard to find.

Very disappointing. The hotel itself was average, though way overpriced for the area and services. Our room had not one drawer in it, very little space for hanging/ storing clothes and barely any surfaces to put things on. It was also cold and we had to ask for extra blankets. Most disappointing though was the location. The web description said it was ideally located for the tourist. We even rang the hotel before leaving, and they said it was 15 min to the centre. More like 45 mins. We were very close to finding another hotel while we were out there. Very, very disappointing. And the maids came in without knocking, even if you put the Do Not Disturb sign up!!!

There isn't the garage :-(( as you write in your web site, and although i asked by mail to the hotel i needed it, they never answered to me that it is without box.....so i had to pay more money to keep safe my car in a private garage of rome.... i think i'll never do another reservation with your web site. regards
