Hotel Eurostars Roma Aeterna - Rome

I really enjoed my stay at the hotel Roma Aeterna. It is well linked to the citycentre and to the station. The room and especially the bathroom was very clean, absolutely perfect. The staff is excellent ( those who work at the reception, at the reastaurant, the security staff and the maids). I hope to come back there soon. Just a piece of advice to the managers: the facade of the hotel should pe re-painted! Thank you

Reception staff were very helpful, information about travelling to the centre was presented upon arrival. Nice food selection at breakfast, always replenished. Short drive to/from Ciampino Airport.

Excellent hotel. Very modern and clean rooms. However, not close to any of the major historical attractions. You will have to take a 20 minute bus ride to the closest attraction. Good news is the bus stop is across the street from the hotel. Great value, just not a great location.

There were no clean towels for 3 days. The telephone system was out for a few days and I couldn't communicate with my family in another part of the building and I could not leave wake up calls. I had to ask repeatedly for a bath mat. The front desk was usually manned by one person who usually had to answer questions or give directions which caused a line to form with sometimes a long wait.

The hotel has been refurbed very well but we got stuck in a very pokey room in the block to the rear. The bar is clean and modern but located in a room to the rear which was very small, always empty and very boring - not the sort of place you will want to spend any time. The bars in the street to the rear however (next to the market) look a bit dodgy but are actually great - buzzing with locals. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. It isn't the most convenient place to get to (especially if you are going out in the evening)and the surrounding area is very run down. Traffic in Rome is a nightmare so getting anywhere on a bus or tram takes forever - stay as centrally as possible or on the metro route.

Great Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel, the personel was kind and helpful, the room was a real 4 star hotel room : spacious, very clean, quiet (excepted a noise of tram of train or metro, we could not guess what it was exactly- but not at night). The breakfast was very good and abundant, served in a large and clean room with a terrace. Everything was great ! We just had to use the bus or taxi to go to the center of Roma... but this was not a problem. We would recommend it strongly to tourists in Roma.

Quite a distance from Termini. Public transportation is limited to bus service (and a Metro which will bring you to and from Termini). There was a market behind the hotel on Saturday morning. In addition, the streets behind the hotel have other ethic eateries.

The hotel is wonderfull, rooms incredible, all in marmol, jacusi, near to the center bus station No. 105 in front to the hotel, buffet breakfast also, clean....rasonable price

Negative points: no free parking (garage very expensive), no pay tv, wifi not working (temporarily they said...),not adviced to go by car = heavy traffic area, slow checkout procedure.. Positive points: very good bathroom with jacuzzi tub, very comfortable and huge bed
