Hotel Donna Camilla Savelli - Rome

Unique historic location, great breakfast with excellent service, an ideal base to discover Rome. One step below excellence due to lack of luggage transport service at arrival. Strongly recommended!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The facilities are simply great (small details on maintenance are necessary to fix). The worst part of the hotel is service being the major problem in the reception area. Two employees in the front desk were acceptable. The rest always gave the impression that the computer was more important than the guests. When we asked information about points of interest they were not interested in helping. They had several pamphlets (we did not realize it until the moment we were leaving the hotel!) that should have been made available at the time of arrival. They have a BIG MESS in the reception area. That beautiful hotel deserves better trained personnel. I could go on and mention at least 5 incidents where they did not meet the minimum expectations of courtesy and efficiency. Due to the lack of space I would stop here. Sincerely. JH

A beautiful hotel with great staff who were always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a really good location if you like strolling and absorbing the local character, which is largely without tourist trappings. Easy access on foot to the central sights. An utterly relaxing stay in this great city, don't hesitate - go!

Week end visit with husband. Hotel Donna Camilla Savelli was just perfect. Room was lovely, clean & overlooking courtyard. Great location in Trastevere. Stayed at Santa Maria in Trastevere before, this is definately quieter location and more upmarket. Would love to come back and stay here again.

If possible I would give it a 11 rating. Staff very friendly and professional, accomodations immaculate, 10 minute walk to Ponte Sisto, a wonderful view of Rome from the roof terrace. Whne back in Rome, no doubt i'll be staying here! :)

It was my first time in Italy and this was the first hotel of my stay. It was worth every dime. The location close to all the happenings, the room and every aspect of this hotel is enchanting. You have to see the view from the rooftop! I was a single female traveler from the states and was welcomed and completely taken care of.

This is a beautiful hotel- best one of our trip! Comfortable bed (which is hard to find) as well as a modern bathroom. The breakfast is amazing. Trastevere is also a great area in Rome. We will definitely be back!
