The hotel has a very good location and the staff were nice.but 2 things weren't right for me: 1st is there is no privacy at all in the room since we can hear people in next door room very easely and also people at the reception (our room was in the ground floor). 2nd is the shower, so small. I think they have to make it bigger, if I just was 1 inch wider, I wouldn't be able to go in to the shower!!

Wonderful hotel -- amazingly quiet. You would not know you were in Rome. Yet you're just steps away from a charming piazza, and only a few blocks from the hip part of Trastevere.

Brilliant location, walking distance from most tourst attractions. Trestevere is fantastic for restaurants and nightlife. Rooms were a bit little though and breakfast wasnt great, but i dont think italians are big fans of breakfast anyway. try and arrange your own transfers because tho hotels are quite expensive.

A very charming hotel, located in the heart of a really original area of Rome: the Trastevere. The overall decoration of the hotel and its rooms is very nice and very recently done. The rooms are very clean and charming as the overall Hotel. The employees are very sympatic, helpfull (the can speak french currently) and efficient. The rooms are very small but it is a general fact in Rome and within this old quarter. If you are alone be carfull because the single rooms are even smaller with a very narrow bed and very small windows when they are some. The price could seem relatively expensive. But the hotels in Roma are all very expensive. Thus this one present a very good Price/comfort ratio for Rome. I do recommend this charming hotel for any type of couple.

The best thing about this place was its location. Its single room is basically a huge walk-in closet. The shower is tiny and the toilet does not work without 4 or 5 pushes of the flusher...even then it won't take all the waste away. They clean the rooms, but not the way you might expect. I couldn't get fresh towels without asking (I ended up having to raid the towel closet myself) and the maid kept throwing out my soap without replacing it. Also, my sheets were never changed during my 10 night stay. No phones in the room and the tv is just network. Too expensive for too little, but I guess it's Rome so you can't do much better for 50 euro in winter. Other than location, the best thing I can say about this place is that the water pressure in the shower was great.

We found it to be a hotel rather than B&B and the price accordingly.

The staff was terrific. Their english was good and they were all very friendly and helpful. I stayed there for 5 nights in order to help my daughter move into college and extensive siteseeing. The location is within close walking distance to many sites and mass transit. The only problem I had was the size of the room and shower. Both were extremely small and took some time to get used to. Since this was the first time in Rome, I can't compare to other hotels at similar rates. Overall, my experience with Domus Tiberina was pleasant and the air conditioning was a big plus. A special thanks to the people at the front desk for all their help and friendly attitude.

There was not much noise from outside, when the windows were closed, but there was some noise at night and early in the morning from the hall and neighbouring rooms (e.g. a phone ringing). Breakfast was served in bed and the quality of the breakfast was a bit variable (but very good at best). The rooms, including the bathrooms, were definitively not spacious, but nice and generally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I might well stay there again.
