Very rude manager, very high price for what it is offering. I would not recommend it, better find a cheaper hotel outside the center of the city, near a metro station.

Very bad, mucho malo!!

We required budget accommodations close to Termini train station and Hotel Di Rienzo met all our requirements. Clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Family run,the owner was helpful and pointed out several dining options in the neighbourhood.

it is not an hotel but a "pension hotel" very very simple, but good situation near Termini. It is correct for 2 or 3 nights. Bathroom is too succinct. For a long time is bad.

It's a low price hotel, with clean rooms and soft beds. The furniture is old, and the other rooms were quite noisy. The shared bathroom was clean, even though not so comfortable. It was anyway a good stay, the position was really comfortable and the beds also very soft. Fair for this price.

The hotel property, the staff very well, but big problems in the bathroom : hot water very long to come, shower not very practical and above which waters all around it ! No interest to have a bathroom in the room, much less pay and have it on the floor !

The proximity to Termini station is a definite plus when it comes to getting here and there in Rome. The surrounding area is not great but the location makes up for it. The beds were comfortable althouight he rooms are small which is typical of European hotel rooms. The shower curtains were dirty and had definitely seen their better days. The reception area is small and the staff was not always very visible. The front door slams shut making it very noisy in the rooms by the reception area. The staff had a vicious argument with another guest right outside our door which made sleeping extremely dificult. If you choose this hotel the room is comfortable , if small, but choose a room away from reception, perhaps on another floor.

I booked a room without WC and I received one with WC. However, although according to Venere.com this Hotel accepts credit cards, I had to beg in order to get my credit card accepted. By night there is a lot of prostitutes in the street, and also, late night all you here in your your room is peaple yelling having sex. I don't recommend this hotel...

The hotel is generally nice, but yet slightly weird. The Signor at the reception refused to accept our credit card - we had to pay in cash. The room was pretty nice, but instead of air conditioner or ceiling fan there was a floor fan which wasn't very effective. all in all, I liked my stay at Di Rienzo. We were given the keys upon arrival - so we could come and leave the hotel any time we wanted. This appealed to me very much.

Personal has not respected the privacy at all, there was no chance to lock the room inside and the personel has entered the room anytime they decided, without nocking, neither asking for permission, during day, night, whenever, this we find as a really serious problem second issue we faced was the advertised bathroom - as this was a real disaster - you cannot talk about a bathroom at all, there was unbelievably small shower corner directly next to the toilet, water was aimed to the toilet - it was unbearable, and the water temperature was a disaster as well, as you hod freezing water for a pretty long time, then for 2 minutes the right temeprature, and then again boling temperature, so disaster totally

The main room was OK but the bathroom was too small - you had to slip in under the sink to sit on the toilet- and not as clean as it should have been. It generally had a "run down" feel to it.

Location good, close to main station and within walking distance of many attractions. Station area is a bit grotty but has been cleaned up since our last visit to Rome. Hotel is very basic - lino on floors, twin beds when we had booked a double, toilet area small - had to sit on toilet sideways. Staff unhelpful. Overall grossly overpriced for what you get.

The hotel management need to improve their reservation and communication systems. When we arrived we were greeted by Mr. DiRienzo himself. We noticed he did not have any computer on the main desk. He tried to look for our reservation on a piece of paper he had on the wall and he coudn't find it. We end up meeting another owner he called from a closeby guest house who offer us a room for the same price. After we walk with our luggage two blocks to the new location, we recieved a call from Mr. DiRienzo apologizing and asking us to return to the hotel cause he found the reservation. (it was printed in a piece of paper his daughter brought to him). After all the inconvenience, the rest was not bad. We understood inmediatly that this hotel is not really a hotel but a Hostel, used mostly by young travellers and students. At the end we agree we had a fairly good stay mostly because of the location.

The hotel has a good location i.e. near to Termini and within walking distance to some local attractions. However, we weren't too happy with the customer service... We needed to take a taxi to the airport to fly to Venice and when we enquired about taxi charges, the lady at the recption quoted 60 euros and asked us to pay her and not the taxi driver, which we found to be quite suspicious. Later when we went to the taxi stand they said that the fixed charges for a transfer to the airport was 30 euros. So, please don't trust the hotel to give an honest quote or advice. There are lots of places near the Termini and its advisable to ask around.

We were a group of 8 staying for 3nights/4days.To say the least we very impressed with the standard of accomodation. The B B was well located and you could walk there from the termi station in need. The rooms were spacious in spotless condition. The outdoor area was a bonus.Lovely garden with enclosed patio where breakfast was served.Brekky was plentiful with juice,pastriestea/coffee etc. There was also a communal kitchen with fridge, stove, sink and adeqate supplies to make your own drinks. The staff were very helpful and friendly although English was limited.WE would have no hestitation in recommending it to other travellers. We would definetly stay here again

The owner is an interesting character, but we warmed to him. The directions to get there were incorrect, something like its a right, not a left on the actual road they're on. Anyway, I though 75euro was a bit steep for a en-suite room. Overall, an average stay experience, I wouldnt recommend it.
