Overall the place is nice. It would have been better to stay closer to the main sights in Rome. They have wifi available but it is an additional 20 euros a day.

When arrived the heater was off and the room very cold, I did not sleep well because of the low temperature in the room. The heater is probably not sufficient to warm up the room and the bathroom. I took a very unpleasant shower

Some have reacted to the breakfast at this hotel. It is cereal, one-man packages of jam and honey, various buns and loaves and cakes. Nothing salty to make a sandwich of at all. This (all sweet) is apparently properly Italian though so when in Rome...

I was generally very pleased with the room and the service for the price we paid. Although the location is not on the doorstep of the main attractions, it is not too far away and OK if you are happy to do a modest amount of walking.

Lucca was most helpful at reception and with directing us to a most excellent restaurant. The breakfast was mediocre- the coffee just horrible, and the servers were not friendly. The room was fine- the a/c had been turned off for the season, which was a problem- it was too hot. With the window open, the noise was an issue. The room otherwise was nice, not up to the price by USA standards, but fine for Italy standards. The bathroom was quite roomy, but had mold/mildew in the shower tile and grout. For this price, that should not be the case. (I am very particular, and my spouse less so, but I feel that when you are paying over 200E for a room, it should be clean). The general areas of the hotel were nice- upscale, clean- unfortunately, they allow smoking in the lounge by the front desk/door- so you have to 'walk the gaunlet' of smoke to get to your smoke free room. Not ideal. The reception was quite warm, and they did arrange transportation back to the airport for us, which saved us quite a bit of $. The neighborhood is a residential one, which we loved- more of an authentic feel than if you stay closer in more touristy areas. We walked to everything- it was a bit of a walk- but if you're resonably fit it's nothing, and quite pleasant to see the area.

Everything was fine, except for the lady in the breakfast room chasing us away at 10h20. I think that if one serves breakfast until 10h00, the customer should be able to stay until 10h30/11h00.

By carThe hotel is easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare, take exit n.1 Aurelio towards Rome Centre – Vatican City. Take via Aurelia until Piazza Irnerio. Then turn right into via Angelo Emo. Then turn left into Viale Degli Ammiragli. Then turn right into via Cipro. Turn right again into Piazzale degli Eroi.
