we were very well received by the employees of this charming hotel.smile, discretion, attention; A nice stay. we did like.

Whilst the breakfast would not suit everyone, the Hotel had a wonderful quirky charm. The location was excellent between Via Del Corso and Piazza Barberini. An excellent Hotel which I will definitely use again.

Prepare yourself for a privately owned small hotel in the heart of Rome. Rooms are small, but the service is big. The rooms are very clean and modern enough. Shower is tight. Don't stay there to watch TV, as the TV is tiny, but the surrounding sites to see, all within walking distance, are incredible. BTW, in spite of the noisy location just off the Via Delle Tritone, the room was very quiet, and the air conditioning efficient and also quiet. The staff/ owners are very nice and more than willing to be helpful. Also, the hotel is willing to set up your airport transfers at a competitive price.

The hotel is extremely well situated; five to ten minute walk to either the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Even though the hotel is right on Via del Tritone, the rooms have double windows which blocks out the noise from the street. The room was very clean and the breakfast was typical (fresh croissants, buns, yogourt, juice, cappuccino, tea). Service was very good at reception and breakfast. Everyone was smiling and very accomodating, eager to please the customer, something we see less and less of in North America. I would definitely recommend this hotel which offers excellent value for money.

First time, we stayed at this hotel. Breakfast was simply minimal - coffee, roll, jam, and crackers. That's it! Very disappointing breakfast. The air conditioning cooled the room, but wasn't really cold. Bed was hard as a rock. Location was very conveinent to walk to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps - a little farther to the Forum, but walkable. The address didn't match the location exactly.

La ubicación es buena, sin embargo la fachada del hotel se ve deteriorada y no da muy buena impresión. El personal es amable, las habitaciones son amplias, pero las duchas son muy pequeñas.

We spent a week on vacation in June, 2008. The hotel is within walking distance of all the places you want to see in the historical center of Rome (Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Popolo etc.), nice outdoor cafes, near the Metro Station and the shopping area. One stop away from the Opera. Small, cosy hotel, very clean. Very friendly reception, especially from Roberto and Sandro. Overall, a pleasant experience. Will definitely go back.

The Hotel Delle Regioni was charming and the room a bit larger than those described by our traveling companions staying elsewhere. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were clean. There were 2 negatives. Our bathroom had visible mold in the shower and upper wall. I brought it to the owner’s attention. He did apologize and say he would take care of it. We were in room #2. It didn't physically bother us as we stayed only 2 nights. Negative #2-The breakfast was very limiting(yogurt and rolls)no real protein. They did however make the best Cappuccino. The location was great, an easy walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Via Veneto. Our friends had a cheaper room rate. Their rooms sounded smaller but they had a better breakfast. We were all walking distance from each other. It all comes down to what's most important to you. All in all we had a nice experience.

This hotel is excellent, the pictures on the website are accurate but do not convey the quiet warm feel of actually being in the hotel. I can not say enough good things, the entire staff were wonderful! Especially, Roberto who helped us get reservations to the Vatican via email when I could not...also provided recommendations on resturants, ways to travel in city..etc...could not have been better. I picked the hotel for the location, which was a short stroll to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, about 20min walk to Colosseum, the best way to the Vatican was a 5 min subway trip recommended by Roberto! The room was small, but we did not plan to stay in the room in Rome! and it was comfortable and quiet, there was some noise in the AM with the hotel stirring but nothing bad...I do recommend ear plugs as a travel must for anywhere you go in Europe. I higly recommend this hotel for the price, location, and service also there is a wonderful internet shop right next store with inexpensive access to the interent and telephone that made talking to home easy. Enjoy! Other note, definetly make reservations to the big sites prior to leaving it is worth it to avoid the wait.

The crew was very nice and helpful. For example, on our last day, after we checked out, we came back to the hotel soaked to the bones since it rained heavily outside. The concierge opened an empty room for us to change our clothes and dry ourselves, free of charge of course. I know many hotels that would not do that for you...

That was the first time I stayed in Roma and the first time in this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central and it has a double windows so it is only a little bit noisy, but not a lot. You are very central located with this hotel, so it will be a little noisy.

very nice, well run hotel. staff was perfectly nice and efficient. the noise outside was well taken care of with double windows, but it was impossible to keep the window opened at any time. also, there was not quite enough storage space. altogether, however, a very pleasant stay, with a very central hotel, but via del tritone is too noisy.

I was spending 3 days in Rome and thought that this hotel was perfect. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the location ideal for all of Rome's attractions. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and I have every intention staying here again next time I'm in Rome. My only quibble would be the breakfast - a bit limited in choice but then again this is typical of many european hotels. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, I strongly recommend this hotel.

I searched the website for a moderately priced hotel in the area of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps as recommended by friends for convenience. This hotel fit the bill. Even with my poor map reading skills, I was able to walk the entire city of Rome from here and the concierge was patient and willing to set me off in the right direction with a map he personally marked streets and sites. The hotel staff truly lived up to the other customer comments I read of their friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel is small but extremely well kept, clean and comfortable. As a single traveler I felt safe in this area. Hotel staff even printed emails from home for me when I had lost some prepaid tour vouchers, called taxis and gave directions to the taxi drivers for me. A great experience here!

We stayed here our last night before flying home. The location was great for sightseeing. It was a short walk and easy to find from the train station. The staff was very nice and accomadating. They arranged a private driver to take us to the airport for 40 euro. The room was small but very nice and clean. We would definately stay here again.

We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and its staff. Great experience. The place is off of a major street it lists as its address, in a little alley-like street, but that's Rome for you, so don't be put off by that. It was clean, quite nicely designed, might say elegant for its size and price level. It was also surprisingly quiet. If you plan to spend most of your time running around all day, this will work perfectly. If you need to hold business meetings, look elsewhere. The staff was absolutely delightful, friendly, courteous and helpful in every way. Big cheer for Alessandro, Gorgio and Alessandra! :)... The location is fantastic, close to metro and major tourist sites. No, it's not Ritz Carlton, but at the end of our trip in Italy, and many other hotels later, I can honestly say it's a good value for the money and the memories of our stay there will be with us for years to come...

A good choice. Most members of staff very efficient, although the one who ordered our airport taxi when we left had failed to spot that you can't get five passengers into a four-seater. Rooms clean and quiet despite the proximity to the busy road. Well located for many attractions, as well as the Metro and tour buses. Across the road is a very friendly cafe called Bar Tritone where we were made to feel very welcome.

We stayed for 3 nights. Staff very friendly. Rooms were bigger than usual for a european city. Good hotel for seeing the city on foot, although you are only couple of minutes away from metro station. Hotel entrance is located on side steet. Ask for a quiet room at the back, as front of hotel is on busy main street!

First time we stayed in Rome and the room was quite a bit smaller than expected. Closet/drawer space was adequate but the bathroom was VERY small. Shower was the size of an old phone booth--couldn't bend down. Staff very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Location excellent; 5-7 minute walk to both the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Three minute walk to Via Veneto. Buffet breakfast consisted of croissants, rolls, coffee. Next door to internet and phone service business. On a side street so noise not a problem.

We stayed at Delle REgioni for 3 nights. I asked for a quite room and we were allocated one at the back of the hotel and never heard any traffic or street noise. Room was a little on the small size but more than adequate as we didn't visit Rome to spend much time in room. Public areas very clean though on the small size. Breakfast coffee & croisants with orange juice. Not a lot of choice but fresh and partner vouched for the cappacino! Weather was very warm and although air con wasn't brilliant it was cool enough to get a good nights sleep. Mattress was very firm but we're used to that. The only reason I've slightly marked them down on relationship between price/quality is that it is expensive but all of Rome is and in this context is probably quite reasonable compared to other establishments in the same area. Location was brilliant we walked every where including the Vatican which took 20 minutes but could have taken the Metro which is 2 minutes from hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended and booked nice restaurant for us for birthday celebration. We would stay here again and recommend to friends.

The hotel and rooms were a lot smaller than the web pictures indicated. And as such, the price is to high. On the positive side was the hotel staff, and their friendliness and helping with all matters. Also worth mentioning is the resturant across the street, best value for money during our stay.

My wife and I had a three 2 day break in Rome for our wedding anniversary. The Hotel was really well located only just 5 minutes walk from all the tourist attractions (Trevi fountain etc.) The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the staff were excellent! Our experience at the “Delle Regioni’ was great. The staff was very welcoming. The room was adequate and clean. Breakfast was nice and simple. The cappuccinos were splendid. The staff was really excellent. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The price we paid did seem a bit much, but we were in rome a week before Easter, which may have been the reason. We paid 150 Euros per night for a double. The room was nice and the bathroom cute, though small. The breakfast was also tasty.

The location of the hotel is excellent so I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were very nice and the breakfast adequate. The room was clean but the bathroom was EXTREMELY small (so small you couldn't sit on the toilet properly!). The heating was controlled by the hotel. It seemed to come on at approx 5pm but on several occasions it was not turned on when we would have liked it. Overall I would recommend the hotel for its great location but its pehaps not the most comfortable place to stay. Regarding the price I think you are paying for the location as it is definitely overpriced for the size and standard of the room.

I was in Rome for a short holiday with a friend of mine, with whom I shared the room. What was absolutely terrific about the hotel was its extremely convenient location - so many sightseeing spots nearby at walking distance(Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, Piazza Colonna, Piazza Venezia to name a few), as well as public transportation (metro, buses), and plenty of shopping areas! The hotel staff were very welcoming, competent and helpful. The gentlemen at the front desk were all very nice and gave good tips on how to get around, where to eat, etc. The room was fine, a bit small for two persons, but the two single beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean, w/plenty of hot water. The housekeepers did a good cleaning job. The room lacked natural light and quiet as the only window gave onto a fairly noisy courtyard. One could only get Italian channels on the TV in the room, so that was a somewhat a nuisance - although they have BBC in the TV in the lounge. The continental breakfast was basic but good. They only serve until 9.30 which was a bit early for us. The hotel is ideal for people who intend to spend a lot of time outside the hotel sightseeing, shopping, etc.

The breakfast area was very small and the breakfast choices very limited, yoghurt, bread rolls, juice and coffee, otherwise everything else was excellent. The location of the hotel in relationship to many of the sites you would want to visit was unbelievable. You could walk to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other sites within minutes. In terms of location I would give this hotel a 10+. Although the room was not as big as I would have expected from the photos it was more than adequate especially because you spend so little time in the room. The bathroom was very spacious.

Delle Regioni is a wonderful family owned hotel in the heart of Rome. The hotel is really that close to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. Roberto and staff were excellant hosts in a hotel central to the trevi fountains and the Spanish steps. When we inquired about a good place to eat the hotel clerk left the hotel open and accompanied us to make sure we went to the correct place. Located near the Barberini Metro station or for a taxi just say drop us at the Barberini piazza. To our surprise its located one block from the "Church of the bones" which is a must see. The air conditioning and dual double pane windows are welcome relief after a day of walking magnificant Rome.

The hotel staff was very accommodating, to checking our return flights and inviting us to have breakfast before they officially served breakfast because of our early flight. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We stayed at this hotel on our first and last night in Rome. The room on the last night was much quieter than the room on the first night as it did not have windows to the street. It was easy to walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. However, the hotel is located on a side street and could be difficult to find if you are not aware of this. They provided a private taxi service to and from the airport, which was very nice and very direct. Breakfast was the usual coffee, juice, rolls, and yogurt.

Fantastically located small hotel. Staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and another very short walk from the Trevi Fountain. The hotel was very small. The bedroom had a musty smell. Eventhough the cleaner cleaned everyday- the rooms and decor was so old that the room never seemed clean. The reception area was beside where breakfast was served. THe sitting area had only about 3 tables. The breakfast was not worth having- even if you did manage to get a table. We ended up eating elsewhere for breakfast. We could hear staff shouting from reception and from the so called eating area- so not must chance of a sleep in.I thought the stay was over priced. However the location was good. I would not go back and stay in this hotel. The previous week we had stayed in a hotel in sorrento and the standard & service was so much better.

Excellent service and and a brilliant location near everything that a tourist needs to be close to. Trevi a 5 minute walk.... Spanish Steps 5 minutes.... Main shopping areas 5 minutes, and Barberini metro stop is just 3 minutes away. Hotel rooms in central Rome are expensive, and at €195 per night for a room, this hotel is no different when you look at the size of the room (which is not exactly huge) and compare it with the price. But with such helpful staff (they were probably the friendliest Italians I have ever met!), spotless rooms and a cracking location, I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Rome.

The staff at the Delle Regione made us feel welcome from the moment we set foot through the door. Everyone we spoke to was polite and friendly. The price quoted was exactly what we were quoted despite us having extras like super coffee when we came in from a hard days site seeing! On leaving the hotel provided us with transport to the airport and Roberto the driver made us promise that next time we came to Rome we must contact the Hotel and let him come and pick us up from the Airport. Finally we would say do not be put off by the first impression - the Hotel entrance is on a quite side street and is very unimposing, but once inside this is an excellent little hotel.

We checked in New Year's Eve, late afternoon, and went right out again. When we got in at 2 A.M. we discovered that the bathroom floor was flooded from rainwater seeping in along the wall next to the toilet, the ceiling in the shower area was also wet and covered with mold, as was the area around the bath window. We couldn't find anyone in the reception area, so put all the towels on the bathroom floor and went to bed. Difficulty sleeping because we could hear water driping in the walls all night. We were truly afraid to use the shower in the morning and had to stand on wet towels to use the sink. When I told the woman at reception about the leak and mold in, she seemed suprised and said,"Oh that's too bad." I would never stay there again, and do NOT recommend this hotel. The rate was not in line with the accommodations, but the location of the hotel was good.

The hotel was amazing! They had wonderful service and very clean rooms. All of the staff but one spoke very good English and were very helpful in answering our questions. The room was small according to American standards, but just like any other European hotel. We did not stay in the room long enough to notice. The location was amazing. It is right in the middle of everything, and within a short walking distance to the metro station. The Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon were within a short walking distance as well. We walked to everything in Rome from our hotel except for the Vatican. The only complaint is that our room was right next to the breakfast nook/bar and it was quite loud in the mornings. The walls were pretty thin. We did not need a wake up call because we were up with the staff making breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and if I am ever back in Rome I will definately stay there again!

The Hotel was just as advertised. Fairly small rooms compared to American standards were understood, but the location and staff were absolutely perfect. This was our first trip to Rome and we wanted a convenient central location close to all the attractions and that is just what we found. Allesandro and Roberto were fantastic and went above and beyond what was expected in terms of service in order to make sure our stay the best it could be. Breakfast was excellent, the room perfectly adequate by European standards, and everything was very, very clean and neat. Plus it was fantastic having Roberto meet us at the airport....our biggest fear was transportation and Roberto took care of everything for us, and recommended fantastic restaurants that were the best we exerienced in 2 weeks of Italy travel. We loved our stay and the way we were treated. My wife and I highly recommend the Delle Regionale to anyone looking to spend their time conveniently visiting the sights by foot as opposed to staying in a Hotel all day...but who does that in Rome? The two best things about our hotel were the location and the staff. Being so close to the subway was perfect for our stay in the city, as so many things are accessible by subway. Also, having the hotel on a side street kept the level of noise to a minimum. But by far the greatest part of the hotel was the staff. They were extremely pleasant and helpful, both with our daily excursions and in making dinner plans. Their recommendations were excellent and it truly enhanced our stay. The room itself was comfortable and all that we needed. I would recommend this hotel to others and feel that my research in choosing this hotel paid off.

The customer service was top notch - one of the best we experienced in Italy. They were very accomodating and even set up a car service out towards the airport. Room was a pretty good size for Italy. The price was a bit high for the room, but the location was close to Trevi Fountains, Pantheon and some of the fun areas.

The hotel is family run and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very small though, especially the shower and bathroom. The breakfast area consisted of 3 small tables with a little bar area where they serve croissants, yogurt, and the best cappucino ever. The location is excellent, within walking distance to all attractions. Great place for tourists not wanting to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Not a good place for somone expecting an upscale, cozy place. No English language programs on tv, only a few Italian stations. No alarm clocks but they will be happy to give you a wake up call. The place was fine for me but in retrospect, I would have picked a nicer place since I was with my 70 yr old mom.

I had a wonderful stay here. The manager was so incredibly kind to me throughout my stay. The room was very clean and attractive. A wonderful stay was topped off by the morning of my departure. A car was pre-secured for me and after I checked out the manager made sure i had breakfast and a cappuchino before I had to leave. He then put my bags in the car and made sure my stay was adequate. Wonderful service! I strongly recommend!

Employees were very welcoming and warm. Our room was small, esp. the shower. My husband is a big man and moving in the shower is such a challenge. Strong sewer smell in the hallway lasted for 2 days for the duration of our stay, other than that I won't have a problem of recommending the hotel to anyone.

We stayed on 2 occasions. The first was in room 20 which was small clean and had a nice bathroom. The second was in room 14 wich was tiny with an ugly shower with the paint coming off the sloped ceiling. NO price difference. The place is clean and staff excellent, good location.Breakfast area small but adequate.DONT accept room 14 or 16.

The hotel was as described on the web site. Alessandro was very helpful when we arrived, and all of the staff exuded a cheerful and professional demeanour. The location of Delle Regioni was ideal for us (first time visit to Rome) - 5-10 min. walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Venetto, and 2 min. walk from Barberini station. We would stay at Delle Regioni again. Given the high prices of hotels in Rome, we judge Delle Regioni to offer in the upper end of "three star" service and quality for a price near the lower end of the range.

Excellent location, you can reach anything in Rome on foot from here. Room a little smaller than we had hoped and decoration a little basic, but got used to it. Breakfasts are simple continental. Reasonable value for money, considering this is Rome.

We especially appreciated the warm, friendly, personal attitude combined with the concern and care of the manager and other personnel. We will not hesitate to recommend your hotel.

the hotel and staff were fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone, in fact I already have. There has been a previous comment about room 22 being small, well this is where we stayed and I don't agree. We both got ready to go out at the same time and did not feel like we were tripping over each other. Even the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water but if you are much bigger than my 6'2" and 17 stone you may find it crampmed! The room was on the corner over the main road and even though there were two double glazed windows back to back, you could still hear the hum of traffic, but the goes with being centrally located. I expected to hear noise and was pleasntly surprised with the measures taken to reduce it. Location wise it could not be better, 5 minutes to the Trevi fountain and not much longer to other sites and the metro was literally 100 metres away making the trip to the Vatican easy and only three stops away. We will return to Rome and will stay at this hotel with out doubt.

Had a lovely stay here. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and didn't mind us being late for breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Very central and ideal for either the Metro or walking to Trevi Fountain. some really gerat restaurants nearby too.

Rooms to the rear of the property are slightly smaller but quieter, although the traffic on the Via Tritone does settle down. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Staff were unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Breakast was simple but fresh, and there was plenty. Location is fabulous - a few minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps, twenty minutes or so to the Colliseum, about half an hour to the Vatican. We are planning on going back to Rome, and would happily return to this hotel. It may lack the lounges, bars and pools of some of the others, but for location and friendly staff this one is an absolute winner.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and nice. The continental breakfast was something to look forward to in the mornings. The rooms and halls always smelled fresh and clean. The location was really great and we were able to walk everywhere except Vatican City, but we quickly became aware of the 492 bus that came right outside the hotel. Nothing to complain about at this hotel. Bravo!

THe Hotel was small and friendly, a very small bar which doubled as the breakfast area. The staff were always willing to help and gave excellent recommendations as to restaurants or directions. It was less than 5mins walk to the Trevi Fountain or The Spanish Steps.

The location of this hotel is great, but my my, why must the hotels in Rome be so expensinve compared to other great cities of the world. And our room (no. 22) was so small.... Nevertheless, we had a great time in Rome!!

Right in the heart of Rome (metro Berberini) in close proximity to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Bernini Fountain and Pantheon. Via Tritone is a busy street, so the double double-glazing helps and since it was winter we did not require to open the window... The room was well heated and the beds comfortable and clean.
