Thank you for a very nice stay at Delle Nazioni. I've been in Rome 35 times before and stayed at ca. 15 different hotels. I rate this hotel amongst the top 3 I've stayed at. I'll definitely stay there again. Main reason: location, cleanliness, friendliness, reasonable price when comparing with other hotels in central, historical Roma.

The Hotel Delle Nazione is superbly located, with professional staff and beautifully appointed rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay there. Our room was enormous with great facilities. The only negative was that we were located on a side street, apparently right beside several large rubbish bins which needed to be emptied (loudly!) every morning at 5am, with much yelling and other noise. Apart from that, very good indeed.

Delle Nazioni is an ecellent choice for visiting Rome. It is very cetrally located for walking access to most sites. Those that are a bit further can be accessed by the Rome Metro that is just four or five blocks away. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for resaurants and travel to the many Roman sites.

Double room, quite spacious and clean. Telephone did not work; fixed, able to make outgoing calls; asked for a wake up call, never got it; when front desk informed they just stated "was in the computer, probably something wrong with the phone". Good think I had a back up alarm! Front desk staff appeared cold and indifferent.

This was a good hotel in a great location. All things considered the price was good and the staff were very accomodating. The only thing I think one needs to be aware of is that there is no garage at this hotel, they have an arrangement with a local garage at a cost of 35 euro per day.

My recent stay at Delle Nazioni (11/25/06-12/02/06) was as positive and pleasant as the last time I stayed at the hotel. I stayed at Delle Nazioni in July 2004 so, I was familiar with the location, the rooms, the rates, and the service. I will definitely return to Delle Nazioni. The location can't be beat, especially for the price (Euro 165 during my recent stay). Prices increase as the weather improves. The hotel staff was extremely helpful to this single, female traveler. They were pleasant and answered all my silly questions about how to get wherever I wanted to go...I walked EVERYWHERE. They even looked up the nearest UPS location so I could ship my purchases back to the U.S. In addition, they called to confirm my (outbound) flight because the airline site wasn't working. Salvatore (at the front desk) was especially friendly and helpful. My room faced Via Poli which is the front of the hotel. The noise was barely audible when the windows were closed. But, I liked having the option of opening the windows to hear the people in the street. The hotel was under renovation (which I knew when I booked) so, the kitchen wasn't open for dinner....nor was the hotel bar. They indicated that the renovations would be complete by the end of 2006. The "cold" breakfast (Italian meats/cheeses, croissants/Danish/toast, jams, cereal, juice, coffee/espresso/tea) was more than adequate, in the morning. The rooms are finished except for some wall sconces which I think will replace the table lamps. I requested a smoking room and the hotel accommodated me. The in-room safe was very easy to use. I would also like to compliment venere.com for answering my questions via email...prior to my trip. Their responses were prompt and thorough. I will definitely book through this website again. Ciao! This hotel was in an excellent location as advertised. My kids loved walking by the Trevi Fountain daily. Rome is a NOISY city, and woke us up early every morning. The hotel is undergoing some final renovations, and hopefully that will include the breakfast room (it was in a bland back-room) . Breakfast was fine, typical Italian. Generally, the hotel was very good. Would recommend a nearby restaurant: Tritone Antica Trattoria. Around the corner from the hotel on Via Dei Maroniti ...ask for directions. ENJOY!

The location was brilliant. The Trevi Fountain just around the corner. We walked everywhere. The hotel was in the middle of major alterations but this did not affect us at all. We would definitely go back.

We had booked two rooms since my daughter would be joining us in the evening. The desk clerk would not give my husband and I the key to the second room because our daughter wasn't with us. An argument ensued and the desk clerk had to call the manager to handle this matter, which started our visit to Italy off on the wrong foot. This could certainly have been avoided.

This hotel is still in the middle of being refurbished. The bedrooms are complete, so they are lovely (if a bit small) but the common areas leave a lot to be desired, especially for a 4 star rating! The reception appears to be a temporary one and the bar was closed. However the staff were great, really helpful and the location ideal. We also took advantage of the transfer service from Ciampino Airport which went very smoothly and was money well spent.

We thought the hotel and location were fantastic, 1min from trevi fountain, and everything else well within walking distance, the hotel staff were a bit stand offish, but didn't really see much of them anyway, breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, would go back to the hotel again.

We could not fault this Hotel apart from problem with Lift on occasions. Great location and safety element was great. Staff really friendly and we were lucky to have two of the newly refurbished rooms on the 4th Floor. Hotel will look great once all the building works have been finished. From the Hotel we managed to walk to all of the attractions of Rome. Would definitely go back to this Hotel when in Rome again.

We had a nice size room and a large bathroom. The room was clean and the maid service was excellent. Breakfast was good. This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to all the great sites. The staff was courteous and helpful. However, the hotel is currently under renovation and the noise from construction was loud during the work hours. The original room we were offered had scaffolding blocking our window. Upon asking, we were immediately offered a different room. Despite the construction we would stay here again.

The hotel was undergoing extensive renovation. First room was schaffolded in and very small. Claustrophobic. Changed to larger room next day but still extremely noisey. Did not sleep for 2 nights. Would not recommend until renov. finished and also you need to advise clients on excessive noise (from tourists on way to Trevi Fountain and main road with heavy noisy traffic until about 4 a.m.) Not happy.

An excellent hotel centrally placed in Rome. The service is good in general, but the service and attitude from the staf in the restaurant must be improved, especially at dinner in the evening. We visited the restaurant the first evening, but prefered to go out for the rest of our stay. We will come back and stay at Delle Nazioni at our next visit to Rome.

Hotel Delle Nazioni is one of the best hotels I stayed so far. A 16th century building that was refurnished and repaired a few years ago is the ideal place to stay when in Rome. Just a few meters away from the famous "Fontana di Trevi" and close to the historic centre and near the city centre. Helpful and very friendly stuff. It was agreat plaesure to stay there.
