The hotel was excellent, staff superb especially the gentleman at the front desk (Paolo?). The room was very spacious and huge (we were coming from paris :-D). the only drawback was the accessibility, there is only one bus going to the area and frequency not too good. But we never had to wait for more than 10 mins for the bus. Breakfast was elaborate and lunch excellent. Overall, I feel the hotel added to the lovely experience we had in Rome, strongly recommended to everyone!!

Kind and very helpfull staff, probably one of the most quiet place to stay in Roma. Even located out of the centrum, it is easy to go visiting any sites. The breakfast is very correct, it just can be better with real fresh fruit and juice. As we just slept, the room is comfortable enough and very clean. A small grey point could be about the air-conditionned: it does not work well (due to a power failure...?)(room 477). We warmly recommand this hotel.

This is a good place to stay in Rome. There is not much in terms of restaurants and shops around the hotel, but it is convient to the bus system and the price is good. The food at the hotel is also good and the breakfast is an excellent value.

Really rather sad and dreary. If you need to stay overnight near the hospital, then it's very convenient and very inexpensive. But otherwise, it is not recommended.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice and quite location, bus stop nearby, cool english speaking stuff, tasty breakfests, very nice tinny room with clean bathroom. I cant say anything bad about Delle Muse. Rating 10/10 :-) Thanks for beautiful 4 day in Rome...

I would have rated my overall stay higher if I'd had a good night's sleep in a cool room. The air conditioner was inadequate, especially since it turns off when you leave the room. The restaurant is very nice - tasty, reasonable considering the location and large portions. And the breakfast buffet was great. Just cool the rooms more and I'l be back.

International people in the hotel. Very nice bouffet-breakfast. Rooms complete of every comfort, including vault, decent bathroom, modern TV set, lighting. Blankets looked clean as clean looked the bathroom. Water in the shower was warm, quickly and without too many settings. My room (361) have a nice big window. Internet connection slow but working. My room was something small.

My room was large and comfortable (I asked for a single room and I got a three persons' large room), with a huge bathroom. The surrounding area (Parioli) is really nice, quiet and at a short walking distance from Villa Borgese and Villa Ada.

Staff Claudio and Valentina were EXTREMELY helpful and even helped us plan an itinerary each day including a map and bus and trolley numbers, etc. The hotel is a bit out of the way from the central area, but it was nice to wake up to and then return to a quiet & safe neighborhood after hectic days. Just leave an extra 15-20 minutes earlier. Breakfast was the best we had out of 3 hotels in Italy. There were mostly couples and families with older children, a few businessmen. Very quiet hotel and quiet area. Short walk to Bus 360, a little longer walk to a piazza that had more bus stops and trolley stops, stores, etc. Small patio outside of window overlooking back of hotel but not enough room to sit but just nice to stand there and admire view and fresh air. Elevator is very tiny but at least they have one! I would stay here again!

Beds are excellent in this hotel: big and comfortable. Aircondition can be also important during summer time (is installed and operational) Free internet access is a great advantage of this hotel. Currently, people need comfortable bed to have good sleep before buissness day, clean room and internet access.

The restaurant was situated in a garden which was not very nice. Plastic furniture and not very clean. No service in the restaurant. You had to ask for service... The elevator was claustofobic and so was the 3rd and 4th floor of the hotel. Long corridors and no where to escape if something happened.

Excellent price/quality relationship. Common Continental or English breakfast buffet. Free internet access. Quiet for Rome and just about 20 minutes to Central Station Termini by Bus 360 (Bus stop just around the corner) as far as 10 minutes to walk to Tram station Liegi/Ungheria. We paid about 10 Euros to went by taxicab from Termini to Delle Muse (plus about 2 Euros for each larger piece of luggage). But if you find the Bus stop of the 360 to Muse at Termini (directly at Via Giolitti at the end of the platform) you can go by it to final station "Muse" for one Euro per adult, but mind to buy the ticket before you enter the bus, e.g., at a newspaper shop at Termini (validate it inside the bus).

They have an EXCELLENT breakfast, which came in handy for the 2 hour wait for the bus to come! This hotel is off off off the beaten path. There is only 1 bus that services that area and it's on it's own schedule. You may want to walk down past the military base and catch a different bus to get back into the sights. The room had hair in the shower and on the sink when I checked in, but my friends didn't have any issues and I didn't after the first night, The hotel is near a school and in a residential area primarily. You may want to get up a bit earlier to allow time to get the sights. The hotel overall was great. The staff was helpful, the internet was free, the breakfast was plentiful and most people were friendly and spoke a fair amount of English. I'd stay here again...but I'd bring better walking shoes!

I enjoyed my stay at the Delle Muse. The staff was friendly and helped us resolve a minor problem we had with transportation. We had a great breakfast and they have an extensive dinner menu and the food is excellent. If I visited Rome again I would stay at the Delle Muse. It is located close to the bus and trolly stops. It is also within walking distance of some very nice cafe's.

Family owned and operated so really pleasant and helpful staff. The bedrooms are clean and spacious with good bathrooms. The location is excellent for those who enjoy quieter surroundings yet there are very good public services to all the main attractions. Perhaps the only negative would be the public areas of the hotel which are in need of refurbishment. This being said I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Delle Muse is run by a family of very friendly and helpful people. However, the place, especially the grounds, needs some TLC. It appears that it is currently being upgraded. The rooms are very small and the non-smoking rooms have the smell of smoking rooms. They do offer a wonderful breakfast, though. Also available are tours of the sights at reasonable rates. The guys at the desk are very pleasant and eager to provide service. The area is quiet and within walking distance to most areas.

We had two stays at Della Muse in April 2006. The first was as a couple in a double and we were delighted with the package. The second stay was with our daughter at short notice around Easter and a triple wasn't available, so we had three singles. It was crowded with a school group and consequently noisy and intrusive- not the fault of Della Muse really. Service from the helpful staff is great, the directions for those coming by car or public transport are very good and got us to the door from the northern autostrada without any problems. Parking is limited but is free if you get a spot outside the hotel, which makes it good value. Must praise the breakfast, which is included and generous, even with last night s desserts and cold cuts recyled. Transport to all the Roma sites is available, with good written instructions from the Hotel. For English-only speakers, the staff are helpful and informative. Recommended and good value, but avoid the singles.

Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel delle Muse a week ago and received what I imagine was a winter rate since it was substantially less than the posted amount in the room. For 75 euros a night plus a very good breakfast, this hotel was a real bargain. The staff were very pleasant and we will certainly stay there again. Parking in the area is a bit difficult and other than the hotel itself, there isn't much of a choice of restaurants, but the no. 360 bus to Termini runs about every 20 minutes and the stop is close by. We were driving from the north and the hotel was easy to find.

We had a wonderful time at the Della Muse. It was conveniently located on a bus route that went to the main station (termini) from which we could go anywhere. The room was more than adequate, the bathroom was spacious an very nice. The staff was very accomodating and the breakfast provided lots of choices. I would highly recomment this place to anyone. It is on the North side of Rome away from all the traffic... not much nightlife around the Della Muse, but then, we spent most of our time in the center of town. If I go back to Rome, I will definately stay there again -- I give it a 9 on a 10 scale rating!

We visited Rome in Late Nov. 2004. The staff at the Delle Muse was very friendly and helpful. Parking was at a premium but they found a safe space for us in front of the hotel. The area around the hotel was congested but we felt safe walking. Public transportation was nearby and would take you into the city. The restaurant was convenient and very good. Breakfast was more extensive than we had encountered elsewhere in Italy. We would recommend it to our friends and will stay there the next time we visit Rome.

This is very good hotel. The service at the reception is very good and very friendly. They helped in giving the maps, a tourist book and lot of tips. We did not go to the Tourist Info as we has everything from the hotel reception. The rooms are very good. Breakfast is the best part. We liked it very much. Thanks to Venere.Com to put and give info on this. It is little far from the Railway station. But its OK as there is direct bus from railway station. Frequency of this bus is very heigh. The hotel stop is the last stop for the Bus. You can't miss the stop. Its easy to catch a tram from the hotel. I will stay here again on my next Rome Visit.

This hotel is just perfect for the price; consider it as a very good choice for a trip to Rome. The only things i have to criticize follow here: The restaurant of the hotel is quite pretty but not a good choice to have dinner, except if you love frozen products; The air conditionning is quite poor, so don't expect to have 20°C in the room. There is no free parking lot, but the streets are safe for cars and people!

A very pleasant hotel and very quiet as it is in a very attractive residential part of town; the downside of the quietness is that it is quite a way from where you want to be during the day, so it is important to master the bus and tram routes which took us a little while to do. Otherwise taxis to the centre are 8 or 9 euros. I would definitely recommend this quiet, family-run hotel and would go back. By the way, the croissants at breakfast were absolutely delicious - not always the case in Italy - and its also worth paying extra if they insist for a cappucino rather than the liquid out of the self-service machine, but that's not a criticism of the hotel, but the case everywhere. Thanks to all at the della Muse for a nice stay - a great introduction to our children for whom it was the first visit to Rome.

It was our first Rome-Trip so we can´t compare DELLE MUSE with other hotels but we had a very pleasant stay there. The breakfast was excellent (buffet), the stuff was very friendly and helpful and the room was quiet. Maybe it´s a little bit unconvenient that it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the city center by bus, tram or railway. But the local public transport in Rome is really cheap and we never had any problems to get back to the hotel even at night. We would stay again at the hotel DELLE MUSE!!

An extremely pleasant, refreshing hotel, unassuming and yet elegant, with excellent services and a very accomodating host. The position is not of the easiest access for people without a car - as it would be near Termini - but the Parioli section of Rome is also a much more elegant and airy place where to stay. And parking is a breeze, quite secure and free of charge at some spots in front of the hotel or on the street. Paying indoor garage is also available at a decent rate and practically across the street. I regretted not having come during a warmer season, because the large garden in the back seems truly idyllic. My room on the 4th floor was already high enough to space over gardens and parks. The breakfast buffet is more than generous. I might only wish the bar section to be a little cozier for conversations with visitors. Altogether I would highly recommend the Muse, and when I return to Rome I will most likely go there again.
