I travelled with my daughter of 11 years old. The room was badly located – the window looked to the inner yard, so there was no daylight at all. In addition the room was situated right on the pass, so there were always sounds of stuff and other guests going here and there. And as far as I understand there are big groups of children that stay here. Accordingly there is much noise. So surely I wouldn’t recommend this place for those who searches for relax stay in Rome. But for those who just spend nights in the hotel it’s ok. For B&B breakfast was also ok. The location is really close to Termini.

From the outside and the reception, the hotel is scary (but it's Rome!)The renovated rooms are really good inside and new!! They even have safebox and a minibar. If travelling during summer, make sure that you reserve a room with AC. Venere didn't mentioned that the room I was reserving was without AC but when I got there I was told that I can have one (for 10 more euros!), only problem is that they handle the AC centrally and during the nights they turned it off. Breakfast was average but OK, really well located if being closed to Termini train station is needed. Internet is not available but there are some places close by. I would recommend it for young people or guest travelling with a budget.

La ubicacion muy buena, cerca a la estacion de tren. El personal muy amable, el desayuno bueno y la limpieza buena. Pero toda la noche escuchaba el ruido del baño de las otras habitaciones y al menos 4 veces me despertaba.

I absolutely do not recommend to stay here. I stayed 3 nights, 1st day the small outside door to balcony was broken and not closed. there was no partition between toilet and shower. During my stay, group of school (high?) boys stayed and they made terrible noise all the stay, shouted and spoke loudly outside the room but nothing was done against it though reception knew it. On the second day I changed the room then in new room I was annoyed with terrible noise of using toilets, water basin and bath by neighbors at midnight and early morning. I complained about it and requested for change, but although it was not full, they did not give me another room and I could not sleep at all 2 nights and this stay ruined my travel impression in Rome. I will never choose this hotel in future.

It's in the city, very close to Termini, but in a rather quiet street. It's excellence for everyone who is a visitor in Rome some days. The hotel is newly redecorated and refurbished and the rooms are really clean.

Waren 5 Tage in Rom.

The premises do no justice for the photos.Being located above some sort of sports club does not make it an hospitable environment. It's only saving grace is that it is near restaurants and the train sttation. Being rated 2-star is over-stated by at least 3 stars. We would search for other accomodation in the future.

Reasonable, clean room. Rather small, but it was a single room, (with a single bed) after all. Room a bit dull, could do with better lighting and maybe some decoration, but it's a budget hotel so perhaps this is to be expected. Very noisy at times - hotel seems to attract groups of young people. These seemed to be school or church groups, reasonably well-behaved but inevitably noisy at times. There were pigeons nesting close to the (very small) window and I once found bird droppings on the window-sill, not very pleasant. I must say that the staff were very helpful, spoke enough English and were even tolerant of my few words of Italian. Breakfast (included) was not much by English standards but it's adequate, and if you want good coffee there's a cafe right next door. Bathroom adequate and clean, but a rather odd arrangement with the toilet actually in the shower area so you have to take shoes and socks off to use it! Also (the hotel blame this on the groups of young people) there wasn't always hot water at busy times. Location is good, near Termini station - lots of other hotels in this area. It's not a smart area, but it's not a bad area either and it's very central.

The hotel is 5 minutes far by walking from the Termini station. I stayed 2 days in 2 different rooms. The rooms and bathrooms are very very small. The hairdryer isn't working. There is no air condition, only a ventilator. Always hot water. Poor breakfast but milk is good. There is a elevator..

It was almost impossible to sleep both because of the heat and the noise. There was a strange smell in the room. They did not take any complaints seriously. Shower was running cold, breakfast was nothing but a cup of coffee and some indescribable bread, butter etc. There was almost no window in the room, just a strange balcony door at the end of the room. Shortly it wasn't comfortable at all. I just had to stay, 'cause it was harder to find somewhere else.

We stayed here in July 2005. The hotel was good and very well placed for exploring Rome, the main station and bus termini was only a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel was simple but quite clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We would definately recommend staying here and we will be back. The only real draw back was breakfast not a lot of choice or room but you can't have everything.

This hotel is quite nice. The only thing I would mention is that the other rooms can be quite noisey, especially when you get groups of students moving in next to you. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel for the price and location.

Myself and my boyfriend (ages 25 + 26) stayed in this hotel for 4 nights at the end of May and had an awful stay. The first room we were given had a noisy fan - no air conditioning and the shower area was tiny and dirty. The floor tiles and shower curtain were dirty and the shower nozzle was covered in slime. We stayed in this room 2 nights then complained and were given a better looking room downstairs where the shower had a door and was cleaner, the fan was quieter however at 9pm we heard noise from next door only to realise we were right beside a bookies and could hear the races on tv and the punters cheering on the dogs/horses until 12 that night! It was extremely bad. we didn't bother complaining again as we were extremely unhappy with the hotel. The room was only 90 for the night but it was still not good enough for that. We had previously stayed in a hotel in florence for 80 euro which was 10 times nicer. The breakfast was also poor.

Price is OK. Location is excellent (no need to call taxi if you arrive Roma Termini train station). But, the room is very very small and noisy. Many groups of student stay in this hotel. They are always exciting and talk outside your window up to 3am. The problem is that they do not listen to your advise here in Italy.

Location of Hotel is very convenient to go to centre, get the buses+metro and to the airports. The room is very old, not enough clean. I would recommend if the stay is not longer than 2 nights. Price is reasonable in centre of Roma.

For a convenient location close to the Rome Termini train station, yet on a quiet side street, Hotel dei Mille can't be beat. I've stayed in many inexpensive hotels near Termini, and Hotel dei Mille is the best, by far. Very friendly, personal welcome, I asked for and received a cozy quiet room off the street. This is not a small, cozy hotel. There were hoardes of teenagers from many countries. Breakfast was machine coffee, machine juice, and hard rolls. But, it is a mere three blocks from Termini, making it extremely convenient, safe, and inexpensive. Close to all buses and the metro, which is good because the train station is far from most, but not all, sights in Rome. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is the one that I recommend to all travelers. It was my second time that I stayed there. Prices are high, but resonable in compare to the offers of other hotels. The staff working there is very friendly and helpful. I will not have second thoughts and will stay at Dei Mille next time I come to the Eternal City.

We had a very pleasant stay with our baby at Del Mille. This hotel is very close to Roma-Termini, but is in a quiet surrounding. Atmosphere was very welcoming and all the hotel staff we deat with were very helpfull and cooperative; above all, all were multilingual. Ideall hotel for any sort of traveller, as it is close to shopping and publich transport. Breakfast provided is good. I would highly recommend Hotel Dei Mille.

The staff at Dei Mille were very gracious. They were very helpful at giving directions and suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants in the area. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was fabulous! The only drawback is the rooms are not very soundproof. The first night there were students in the room next to us playing loud music at night.
