The hotel is not renovated. There is an awful smell in some rooms. The equipment does not work properly. The service is not good, just there is one guy working at reception who is really professional.

Cleaning was ok, bath better than the room, in room furnitures and walls was used, but rich and good breakfast, good location, fair price in Rome, nice roof terrace, the central aircondition was loud and too cold for us, but they have changed the room without problem. Totally was ok for the long roman days.

Clean Rooms, breakfeast is ok. All in all price / quality is good. Not as close to Metro and a bit difficult to find without any map. No signs! You'll walk about 8-10 minutes! Manzoni station is much faster than Vittorio Emmanuell as quoted on the page. Overall: Location is good to explore Roma. You are near the center. You can even walk to Colloseo in about 20 minutes!

The hotel was approximately like the image you get if you read all the reviews. Generally fills the basic needs but room is small and if you need to negotiate with reception you are in problems, they are professionell to resolve problems. Room was cleaned every day without disturbance, exept last day. Cleaner lied me telling that I do not want cleaning. Last day my fligh was leaving at 23 hours, I wanted to keep room longer, they would have wanted almost full price for that. The location of the hotel is a bit far from old center, but metro station is walking distance (works to about 23 hours, saturday longer, ticket 11€ for a week). Bed was ok exept not have the over mattres. Room is quiet in general, area is quiet, but if neighbour is noisy the noise will be easy to hear.

When we arrive, there were a man at the reception absolutly antipathetic. We went to our room and air conditioned did not function and the fridge was desconnected. We phone to reception and he said "no change until tomorrow". So I said, "we rent a room with both,......and we pay first"............so he decided to call to the director and then we went to another room. In the second room was just one connector for TV AND FRIDGE, so if you watched tv............fridge must be desconnected (?) Don't you think that kind of facilities must be checked before the guests arrrival???

The hotel was extremely difficult to find if you are not from Rome. A very nice hotel. The staff at reception was a bit distant - only the necessary said or done. We requested a direction to the hotel before we departed but received none which made it very difficult However the rooms was of good standards

Hotel is pretty basic but clean and within a few minutes walk to the nearest metro. The buffet is adequate. On the plus side there is almost no street noise which is great for Rome.

Hotel was tidy and room was always cleaned when we arrived back to hotel in the evening. Bed was not comfortable to sleep. Maybe it was only in our room, so in the other rooms beds are fine. Breakfast was very good italian breakfast. We could heared the noise from the hallway very clearly. In general hotel was good for six nights what becomes quality and price

The room wasn't as clean as a 3-star room should be (hairs in the shower etc.). There were campingbeds(!) just surrounded by a bedstead. The toiletseat was broken and the watertubes in the wall did a loud hammering noise so you can allways notice your neighbor open the tap. There was a terrible odour in the bathroom. The waitress at the breakfastroom was fretfull, the breakfast was poor. It's unbelievable that such a hotel can label itself a 3-star.

The Staff at the Hotel 'Daniela' in Rome were the rudest staff I have come across in all my travels over the years. When we checked into the hotel the gentlemen who was on the reception desk, was on the phone and was very rude and made us feel us though we shouldn't be disturbing him during his phone call. He did not give us any information about the hotel or the facilities other than an abrupt breakfast is downstairs until 10am. As we stayed in the hotel for 4 nights there were a number of staff on reception we dealt with when we dropped off or picked up our keys, and not once did we receive a greeting and most times the person was on the phone and it was a chore for them to have to deal with us. I know that this is not the most expensive hotel in Rome but common courtesy and good customer service does not cost anything extra. I speak a little Italian and conversed each time in italian but the staff just looked down their noses at us. The attitude of staff ruined our stay Rome and we would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

Hotel is in a nice quiet area. Breakfast was included in the price which was a nice surprise as we thought it was room only. Only criticism I have is that it would have been good to have a thermostat on the air conditioning so that it could be controlled in the room. There was a heatwave and sometimes the room did get a little warm. But no problem.

The air conditioned only works until 22:00. The public areas were very hot and therefore even the breakfast was hot.
