Hotel Cristoforo Colombo - Rome
Via Cristoforo Colombo 710 - Rome
1-877-662-6988Business travelers will find the hotel extremely convenient due to its proximity to the various EUR-area conference centers. And for those who would like to be close to, but not quite in the heart of Rome, this luxury hotel makes for the perfect stay.
This 4-star Italy hotel offers tranquility, convenience and comfort all within easy reach of the Colosseum and other ancient gems which make Rome one of the most enchanting cities in the world. Free parking is a huge advantage in this high-traffic city and the hotel restaurant hits the spot after a long day of work or touring. The hotel also offers a complimentary one way shuttle service from the hotel to Piazza Venezia each morning at 8:15 AM.
Pets are not accepted.
It is wonderful if you got a car. Easy to move toward the center as well as outsid...

A very convenient location close to motorway and with easy access to the metro which enabled us to get to the city centre quickly. The swimming pool and being beside a large shopping centre is also another big plus. The bedrooms were clean but basic.

It was a good price for the service. I am not sure I would rank it as a four star experience, but it was comparable with what I paid for it. The lady in the front desk was very helpful and spoke multiple languages with great competency. There are room charges not included in your quote, so be advice, plus internet charges are per computer, so if you need more than one device hooked up, it can get costly. Rooms are clean, but older looking. Location is okay to drive to, we had a car, but also used public transportation to go to Rome, and it was not bad, especially if you do not have small children. I can see how that could get a bit cumbersome. Breakfast was attractively laid out, but certainly, not very tasty at all. We did not spend a lot of time in the rooms, so I was okay with the whole experience.

The rooms are the better thing of this hotel. Surrondings not very beautiful, you need a car but there is enough free space to park it at the hotel. There is a mall just behind the fence, shops, supermarket and restaurants. Very good price quality ratio.

The best compromise between price and quality. The Hotel is comfortable surrounded by trees. Close to the hotel, there is a big mall: Euroma2. The only inconvenient: you should have a car to be independent from the public transportation. You can enjoy of the cuisine of the hotel's restaurant, which is besides, very cheap!

it's a Motel, more than a Hotel, but for its price it's the best deal you can get. A bit out of the city, though the bus stop is close. Staff welcoming and nice, albeit a bit slow (say: relaxed). If, however, you just have to pass one night in Rome while passing by, that's a good place to go.

The drawback for this hotel is personnell. Especially at the reception it is not seldom to be treated unfairly. Slightly better at breakfast. Hotel is next to a mall, which is a good point unless your room is next to one of the parking lot. Overall is quiet, breakfast is just below standard but included. Plenty of parking lot and you definitevely need a car.

very pleasant stay at this hotel .The only inconvenience is the noise late at night as we were in a room on the ground floor.Breakfast buffet is good, plenty of food .The car park is very convenient ,we travelled to Rome city centre by bus which is nearby. We are satisfied and recommend this hotel

The hotel offered excellent accommodation for the price charged. The rooms were recently refurbished and very clean. The pool was also well maintained and good asset for the summer months. Breakfast was decent and better than expected for the price. Wireless internet access was poor in the rooms and was only usable in the lobby. The staff could be a touch friendlier and more helpful. The large shopping center next door to the hotel was great to shop at. Overall a comfortable and pleasant stay.

it was very convenient, especially the free parking was very easy. The staff was friendly, and even though I overslept the free breakfast buffet after a night of Roman clubbing, the staff still hooked me up with a coffee.... And the pool staff was also real friendly and hooked me up with a lighter since I had just stepped off a plane and was lighterless. They also gave me tips on where to grab a bite at the mall right next to the hotel. The mall is quite convenient in any case....

Rude staff. We stay there for 2 nights and 3 days, NO staff member ever smiled at us. If you hungry past 10:00pm, you better go to sleep fast or you will starve. But what shocked us the most us how unfriendly the staff was.

A bit far from the center, but easy to reach if you have to stay in the southern part of Rome for work. Huge shopping mall nearby for shopping and with several restaurants can be an option if you don't want to eat in the hotel or go downtown. Just ask if possible room NOT at ground floor.

My room was at ground floor with a lot of passage in front and couldn't keep my window open. Restaurant was ok, and there's a huge shopping mall close to it with restaurants as well.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels all over the world and in somewhere like Hong Kong, this would be classed as a 1 or 2 star hotel. That said, for €56 a night this was a good value for money basic hotel that is more like a US motel. The room was fine, and although the wi-fi was only €6 a day, the signal was so weak that it was barely useable. The pool looked clean enough, but uninviting and even though I had specifically picked a hotel with a pool, didn't use it once in my 5 day stay. Breakfast was adequate and could be easily imporved upon with some hot breakfast options other than only scrambled egg. The real downside to this hotel is the location, wedged behind a petrol station, off the motorway and next to a major shopping mall. There is nowhere reasonable to go to outside of the hotel on foot. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, but for the money, the only thing to complain about was the expectation given that it might be anything like a 4 star hotel. It is not.

Cristoforo Colombo is a fantastic hotel! The staff, especially Gianluca, are very helpful and nothing is too much bother for them. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and kept very clean, and the public areas of the hotel are beautiful! Food and room service are also fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel for all, except maybe families with young children but only because you have to cross a busy dual carriageway to the nearest bus stop then take a bus to the nearest metro station and i know this would have been a hassle if i had my own young children with me! All in all, wonderful hotel, amazing value for money and we will definitely return.

when we arrived on saturday at 20h00, the welcoming was very bad, and the restaurant has just closed. The room was dirty, we called someone to change the cloth. The carpet was also very dirty. At the restaurant, the service was very long because the groups were been served first.

A very nice hotel, a bit "out of the way" as it's not near the Metro, but the bus service is good once you get the hang of it. Very good value for money. Good parking space if you have a care, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful.

A very good choice for a quality stay with as less money as possible. It's located in the outskirts of Rome, next to the autostrada. However there is minimum noise at the hotel. A very large shopping center is in close proximity so shopping and recreation potential is available. Overall it was a satisfying stay.

C'ero gia stato e ci tornerò sicuramente volentieri. Hotel 4 stelle ottimo in zona EUR.

L'hotel è bello e molto pulito.
