Average hotel for this category, being in Rome. Strategic position, good restaurants around. Small rooms, bathroom fan very noisy. Silent surroundings and no noise from other rooms. Good sleeping.

This hotel was within easy walking distance to main Train Station, Underground, Bus and Coach Station. We walked to all major sights from the hotel, however there is a local bus stop to main areas literally round the corner from the hotel. The hotel room was basic but very clean and cleaned well every day with fresh towels supplied every day. The breakfast was well worth the extra cost. The reception staff were all extremely helpful, polite and spoke really good English. A fantastic base for a sight seeing holiday with a very reasonable price.

The hotel is close to the main attractions and Termini station (railway system and underground A and B). The "trattoria" behind the hotel is a traditional and appreciated place for lunch or dinner with a superlative quality of food.

The location was great, within walking distance from many landmarks, and close to public transport. The breakfast was more like a dessert table to me, so I just gave it up after a few days. Internet access (which has to be paid for) was frequently down.

Tiny hotel - and rude staff - think you can find other hotels in the same area which are nicer (public areas and rooms where shabby).

I had booked a single room, which was very very very small, as was the bathroom! Luckily it was only for one night.

The hotel is very nice, easy access and good physical structure, exactly as described on the site. The main highlight is the excellent care provided by staff, always friendly and attentive.

Exellent location, very friendly and good English speaking stuff. Facility and service is overpriced as always in Rome. Room - good for a short leisure stay, though a shower slightly weak even at night hours. Adequate breakfast, though a little bit strange not to have any cheese in Italy. Anyway, compared to general price policy of Rome hotels, not a bad choice.

Most of the staff was helpful though there was one guy I didn't get along with. It wasn't a bad place to stay, just no where near worth the money I paid to stay there.

Good location, but rooms are very small, and the view is not exciting. The staff is helpful and polite. Overall a budget hotel like many others.

The Hotel Corona is well placed for trips to Rome with all major sights walked to on our trip. It is close to Terminii station but not too close and I would consider it 'on the right side of the tracks' :-) The rooms were basic and functional but fine as most of our time was spent out enjoying Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, often switching easily between multiple languages with ease. The dining area, breakfast area in our case, was adequate with the range of breakfast elements fairly small but tasty. We had an unfortunate noise problem on the first night, a neighbours property alarm every 30 mins ! but this was not the fault of the hotel but a feature of its location in a built up area. The other nights were fine however there was some noise from other rooms. The walls weren't especially noise reducing. We also arrived late due to travel problems but this did not cause a problem for the Hotel. The duty manager was able to deal with our arrival withou issue and we quickly had access to the rooms. A handy bar was just around the corner for a late night drink and food. Wifi was available as a chargeable extra and valid for a single device. A safe was available but at 5 euros per day this was a unhelpful cost.

Staff are great. Especially the young chap, can't remember his name but perfect English. That's just like a lot of young people in Europe though, being bilingual, it's very multicultural. Breakfast isn't anything to write home about but then again none are really if you're expecting bacon and eggs every time. They prefer cold cuts and bread, jam on toast with coffee and the like. Still nice though and you can have all you like. We only stayed in Rome for 2 nights on our way to Croatia and it wasn't enough time to explore the city, although I never thought it would be. Just a warning to all you out there thinking to fl through, you'll get bit and want to come back, there's just so much history. And the Corona Hotel is a great place to stay while you explore with a convenient location just a short walk from the Termini Central.
