Our room was in the Dependence Townhouse, around the corner from the main hotel. It was sparkling clean, had a great bathroom and was very quiet. For breakfast, we went to the main Hotel and it was fine. Nice staff, and although I needed no help, I heard how nice they were to other guests. The only minor thing I didn't like was having to drop off/pick up the key every time. I understand the reason for their policy, but found it slightly inconvenient.

I booked at the Condotti hotel but was placed at the Condotti Palace which is not as nice as the Hotel. Beware of this! The room we had was nothing like the pictures. Very dark and depressing. The bathroom was updated and clean. The breakfast was not served to us at their main hotel. I felt duped because I made a special effort to make sure I was at the hotel instead of the Palace, The guy at the front desk seemed to be on an ego trip. Not impressed I'll stay somewhere else next trip! Location is good for Metro. However, Rome has thousands of B&Bs and I just wouldn't return to this one.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel location is fantastic. But the only size of the room is really small. We thought moving from the hotel when we checked in the room but because of its location we stayed 3 nights and we were delighted.

Hotel reception very welcoming and friendly. Room sizes that you would expect from European city so watch out if you are used to the big sizes offered in the USA. Still big enough for two adults and two kids (12 and 9). Room cleaned every day. Hotel in the heart of the city right next to the designer boutiques and the Spanish Steps are two minutes away. If the three coins in the Trevi fountain work, then we'll definately reurn to this hotel.

The hotel was in a great spot central to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was great. the staff was very nice. our quad room was quite small for four women with all the luggage and the light in the bathroom burnt out and never got changed. why do you not put clean sheets on the beds when you make them each morning? i would stay here again but not in the quad room.

The location is terrific (although a bit difficult to find) and the prices reflect it. The staff were friendly but our experience departing may have colored our overall view. When we left a wake up call for an early morning departure to catch a plane, they failed to inform us that the country was changing to daylight savings time. Our wake up call came late and we scrambled to get ourselves into the cab for the ride to the airport. The rooms were pleasant but, unlike other quad rooms, one of the beds was a pull out couch rather than a bed. While the couch bed was better than some, it was not a completely restful sleep. The room had a balcony, which was a plus, but the street could be quite noisy as there were bars and restaurants near the hotel entrance.

My friend and myself found all of the employees of the Condotti to be of great help and very pleasant during our four-day stay. The hotel is pleasant and clean but the rooms are apparently all very small. Considering the location, however, two blocks from the Spanish Steps and around the corner from Via Condotti, the price was reasonable. You just have to adjust to the small space. Also, the area of the hotel contained many lovely, terrific restaurants with reasonable prices. For the first time in many years, we were treated to after-dinner drinks by our waiters. They could not have been more pleasant. Lastly, being very close to the Spanish Steps stop on the Rome Metropolitan subway is also a big plus. We easily made use of this method of transportation. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The location was excellent as was the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room, however, was so small it barely accommodated a standard size bed. There was a small walk space around the bed and that was it! Everything we read was about the generous size of the rooms, so this was definitely a disappointment. The staff, by far, was the best part of the stay. However, for the over $200 price for a very very tiny room, we wouldn't stay there again.

Excellent location near Spanish Steps (not that you'll spend much time there); nice rooms, wonderful reception staff. A little pricey, but worth the location. Fairly good breakfast included.

Considering this hotel's location the price is reasonable and the rooms are extremely comfortable, although rooms on the street tend to be too noisy due to strolling players and crowds of people (the road is one block back from Piazza di Spagna). The staff were accommodating but the airport taxi I booked through them turned out to be almost double the going rate (Eur60 as opposed to Eur35). The location is great as a central base for the whole of Rome.

Excelent location ! The room is very, very small and the staff were sometimes not so kind. The quality/price ratio is not so good and there is enough room for improvements, specially because there are other hotels in the same region.

The location was outstanding and the room was fine and just what we expected. The value for the room and location was fine. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of knowledge of the staff. We asked a number of questions of the staff and they were quite uniformed. In fact, I had more knowledge that they did. For example, they had never heard about the Miracle Players at the Forum and there was a brochure sitting on the table in the lobby! They knew nothing about the Archeobus or the Time Elevator Roma or the bus system. We asked for restaurant recommendations and they were not helpful at all. We gave up after a couple of tries. The person in the breakfast room was not very efficient and we wasted a lot of time that way. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but try another hotel.
