ONly negative is the small lobby is separate from where you enter the hotel for your room. You checl, in then go outside with your bags to an entr4ance around the corner. In the winter or during a rainstorm this would be an inconvenience.

Our stay was fantastic because of Rome and ofcourse condottti, because I was not expecting that much centered hotel during booking, I did not spend any money for transportation. beside location, room was great housekeeping was great thay were clean enough, breakfast was poor but maybe because of italian style we don't used to eat like that ıt can be more rich for example, you have a great cheese mozerella you can put it or tomotoes in the breakfast. overall conotti was a hotel more than expected. thank you...

Other reviews mentioned that noise was a problem, but we didnt find that at all. The windws are double glazed. We stayed in the hotel around the corner from reception and we could not fault the room. The location is just fabulous, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain close by and the wife enjoyed the shopping on Via Condotti. Its also very close to the metro.

I had a bad experience. At 7.30 A.M. two workers were replacing the carpet outside my room. The hotel staff didn't tell me anything when I arrived. They should have closed the hotel, or at least the floor, during the works.

I had to write this review so that others know that this hotel is ideal for your visit to Rome. Both the main hotel and annex are a block from the Spanish Steps (which also has a taxi stand) and the streets are filled with great restaurants. Being that there were 4 of us girls - we got the family room which worked well even with the 1.5 baths. I'd recommend a different set up with 2 couples just because the 1 full bath may be an inconvenience. The street 'changes' from the weekend to the week day as some shops/restaurants aren't open 7 days a week. I would highly recommend Otello's which is located directly across from the annex entrance. It's a great trattoria and has the most amazing food! The staff at the hotel were more than accommodating, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

The Condotti Palace was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is great !! Only few metres from the Spanish steps, the metro station and tons of street cafes and restaurants. The room was spacious, recently renovated, clean, exceptional!! I will recommend this hotel to everybody who wishes to have an unforgetable time in Rome!!

Family with 2 older children. We had plenty of room, in fact our room had 2 bathrooms. The hotel is in the middle of everything. We had tons of restaurants right outside our door. 2 blocks to the spanish steps. Breakfast was not included, but the 10 euros turned out to be a bargain. Our room was around the corner from the check in, but not a big deal because we knew ahead of time. The hotel picked us up at the airport which made finding the hotel very easy.

We got a sleeping room without any window (number 319), but with two bathrooms (both of them with toilette and both without window) and a kind of small salon in the middle (with windows). So it was in fact a kind of suite in which we could live well so that we could "forget" partly that the sleeping room was without windows (which was not visible on the photos and had not been said us before). In the text the hotel was presented as "Palace", but it is in fact a flathotel very well located in the "centro storico" very close to the Piazza di Spagna.

The staff were very snooty, not welcoming. You do not check in where this hotel it, you have to go to another hotel to check in. Not well explained in the documents. This hotel is only rooms, you get in with a key through a basically unmarked door. The hotel staff basically insisted you use their service to get to the airport, which was 80 euros for 4 people. They tell you you will not fit with bags in other transportation and basically insist you use their service. We did, the service was 30 minutes late, stressful ride to airport!!

From check-in to departure, my wife and I were treated with great courtesy by an informed and helpful staff at all levels . Room was small but very clean and cozy and I would not hesitate to return and also recommend it to my friends who need a good and centrally-located hotel in which to stay while in Rome.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in a double deluxe room. The room was fairly small, but we had a lovely little terrace that we made full use of. The room also wasn't very quiet: We had to use earplugs to avoid the sound of plumbing (etc!) from the adjacent room's bathroom being the first sounds we heard when we woke up in the morning. Location: Fantastic. Perfect for shopping, nightlife and exploring the historic centre. Quality of service from the hotel staff was wonderful - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served at a cafe 2 doors down from the hotel. The breakfast itself was average but the service here was very poor and the staff unfriendly. All in all, the hotel served it's purpose and we'd be happy to stay there again.

This was a fabulous hotel, location, location, location! It is in the heart of the shopping and tourist area of the Spanish Steps. It was difficult to find the reception desk, it is around the corner at another Condotti Hotel, but once that was determined, we loved the location. We literally walked off the subway and about 5 minutes to the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood, and we enjoyed every one that we used. It was a nice walk to The Trevi Fountain and many other Rome sights. The reception staff at the Condotti Place was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, and if you don't mind paying a bit more, the location is well worth it.

Excellent location, spacious room for 3 adults, friendly helpful staff. We really enjoyed the rooftop room! Very nice restaurants nearby and easy walk to many sights or to metro for connections to other parts of city.

First, I'd like to say that this is an aparthotel, so there are no public areas to speak of. Apart from that the rooms are quiet, clean and of a nice size being in Italy. Also the furniture and bathroom appliances are new and you have all the toilettries needed. Breakfast is served in a nearby bar (two doors down the street). It's a buffet breakfast and I found it quite nice but it can be a bit simple for american and english people (not much choice of hot food or cereals). When we needed advice on routes or restaurants and such the hotel reception was just round the corner and they were really helpful and nice. And the best of all... the hotel is really in a great location: five minutes form the spanish steps and the metro station, ten from the Fontana di Trevi and plenty of restaurants and shops around the place. I really recomend it.

The reception was fine, friendly staff. A porter carried our bags to the room. The stairs up into the building seemed unnecessarily inconvenient for baggage handling though, and the elevator was comically small. The room was small, as expected, but still mildly startling nonetheless. It was a relatively modern and adequately clean space, so no complaints there. Window opened into a quaint and quiet courtyard, which was nice. Bathroom was fine. Two lights were burnt out, one in the bathroom over the sink and one in the "hall" outside the bathroom. We reported this our first night, but only the hall light was fixed later in our stay, which was slighly annoying. Also, there were no "do not disturb" signs for the door, which make it frustrating to try to sleep in when housekeeping kept coming by. AC worked well, which was nice in the heat. Fantastic location, easy access to everything. Really enjoyed the continental breakfast, included in price, at the cafe down the street. I'd probably stay at a different place next visit for a new experience, but I'd recommend Condotti Palace for those looking for a nice room (if space isn't a concern). Beds were comfortable too.

Cute SMALL hotel. We stayed at their second location which ment we had to check in/out around the corner and whith a small child it was a bit of an inconvenience. Also the room we were given was nice however much too small w/ the crib in it. We were given a free breakfast with the room rate but the restaurant we had to go to was not accomodating and very rude. In all the hotel is a great place for 2 people per room. Brand new EVERYTHING in the room and the best location in Rome made it all worth while. Enjoy

Great location for this hotel in the heart of Rome. Need to know that the front of the hotel is on a different street to the door to your rooms, but a minor issue. Good rooms and good staff

Had a great stay. it was nice to have a separate entrance from the hotel. felt like your own place. plus it was only 10 meters away from the hotel. breakfast wasn't all that much but i also come from the u.s. and breakfast is a lot different here. but regardless it was a nice to have included. location was great. walked almost everywhere. rooms were on the smaller side but we managed. bathroom was very nice and spacious. very clean. would highly recommend.

We stayed 4 nights as a short honeymoon trip at the Condotti Palace. Reception is at the Condotti Hotel, just around the corner. You get two keys for the separate entrance for the appart-hotel. It is clear the rooms are brand-new. They are nicely decorated, you've got a small lcd-tele, with optional pay tv and internet access (which we did not use). Airco is available, and worked fine. As all rooms in Rome, do not expect to have enourmous spaces for a standard 'deluxe' double room. The bathroom we had was small, with a shower, wc, and place for one person at the time for make-up and tooth-brushing. We had a room at the third floor (of 4) at the street side. If you are not used to streetnoise, ask for a room at the back of the hotel (even if without a 'romantic' view). All together, the musicians playing for the bistro visitors in the street are charming, and not disturbing. All together, the room is OK. One small remark that I need to make. As the hotel is in an old building, and even though fully redecorated with all facilities, we woke up more than once between 23pm and 0100 am because of noise coming from the 4th floor. There is no carpet on the floor (very nice tiles, but we know the noice qualities of tiles...), and high heels (as in any appartment) can be heard quite loudly the level below, such as guys moving furniture (don't ask me why they did). Additionally, if our guest at level 4 above went to the bathroom, we heard very loudly the flushing of the wc (waste passing through our room, of course hidden somewhere behind a wall, but not isolated for what one could expect from a hotel aspiring a high quotation). We principally took the hotel for its location (which is absolutely brilliant, no doubt!!), and we enjoyed important reductions as they recently opened. Last note: breakfast is served at the bar in front of the building. Be aware italians do not take 'heavy' breakfasts. We really needed to ask for additional bread, ham and cheese, and for more than

I reserved a room here in part because they claimed to have wireless internet. During my stay there was no wirless, in my room, or in the lobby. The hotel staff kept making excuses that it was on it's way, but they offered no help to me to find an alternate means of getting online. Definitely not worth the high price when all of the services were not available.
